ergh.... still hacking up a lung over here...
I typically don't get colds, so this is weird for me. I guess my body feels that one major infections and a few smaller co-infections is enough to handle so why bother making me deal with a cold too? LOL
Also very weird for me-- I drank more tea than coffee yesterday! What is wrong with the world these days??

I scrapped a few more pages for my IL's book- I am now at 15 out of 20 done. But this is where it gets harder. I have scrapped a lot of the"easy" photos, now I am left with the ones I don't know exactly what to do with. But I hope to keep plugging along and then should have it done before the 30th when my promos run out.
I wasn't able to get anything done with the F-W's stuff, expect for started the coloring of the foot soak. I learned the hard way (is there any other way in Faery Life? ha!!!) to add the color to a small amount of the sea salt, left that dry out really good, before adding it to the large batch so ya don't get one big clump of wet, soggy color.

Then whenthe mail came, I got 3 notices from the Marketplace, one for Scott for the Dental plan, and one for Scott for the reg. health plan. Each one-- yes, every last envelope that I opened-- had different information. One said that I was eligible for Medicaid (though I had fixed that one) the other one said that Scott was eligible for Medicaid (also not correct) and the third one has the right info (I think-- who the heck knows at this point??). Those were from the Marketplace. The one for the ins. company had Scott as the only one covered by the plan. I have to be honest, and admit I didn't even bother opening the dental plan one. By this point I was laughing and coughing and wheezing so hard I was lightheaded. Tossed them all to the side and will deal with them today.
Maybe.

Today is my follow up eye exam with the 2 additional test the weirdness in my eyes. Then I am going to torture myself a bit more by starting to go Christmas shopping with my mom. Wish to all the gods that I knew what I was getting people.

Since I am feeling a bit cranky- here is a happy puppy to cheer us all on!

Katja! Congrats on the new TV and furniture! I hope that the wait time goes quickly for you!

Kat- hope that your reviews went ok... that muct be so hard to do objectively.
And Chris, you're eyebrows hurt?! That much be the strangest sensation!
Yeah, I have a flair for the dramatic, in case you hadn't noticed? :drama:
hahah!!!!
Haddie is a beauty!!!! We rescued our first day who was a stray and had some crazy separation anxiety issues. But she was my baby and 4 years gone and I still miss her sooooo much.

Laurie- fingers and toes crossed for your interview today!!!!

Kat- does Haddie sing?

Nancy- sounds like you had a really nice weekend with the family. Puppies are cute, but they are also work.

Rae- hope that you are all on the mend!

Trudy- so sorry to hear that your Uncle has passed. :( But as trite as it sounds, he is is a better place as I cannot imagine how this physically deteriorated him. Thanks for the soup!

Better get rolling, busy day ahead!

good morning - it is a clear chilly morning! Many errands to run today and most are things I have been putting off especially grocery shopping. Had a really fun lunch with my former co-workers. It is so fun hearing how their lives are now. One is going to be a grandfather again. He also helps with baby-sitting and it is such a fun thing to see. And of course we show photos! Got in two good walks which felt really good since with my cold last week I was not doing much. Today will be another good day for walking.

Chris hope the eye exams go well and you hear only good results! Have fun shopping. Hopefully the gifts will just appear when you least expect it.

Rae hope that you are feeling better!

Kat hope that the performance reviews meeting went well. I remember those days. My former company felt that their workers had to fit on a bell curve. We of course felt that was crazy but we thought it was their way of cost cutting as the low part of the curve did not get raises or bonuses. Glad for me those days are over. However I was always glad my boss and I had these meetings. It got us on the same page.

Laurie again good luck with the interview!

Trudy so sorry to hear about your Uncle's passing. Glad you got your sister moved.

Have a great day all!

Chris - hope you survive the xmas shopping. I haven't even started...ugh.
Nancy - sounds like a fun lunch. I need to get out walking too. I've been bad lately about working out and should at least get outdoors for some walks.

I've got a busy work day today and will head to the dentist this afternoon for my permanent crown to be put on (I've had the temporary crown for 2 wks). I've got to finish up my wedding editing this week so not as much time online as I would like but once it's done then my schedule is much lighter. I love shooting wedding but hate the time involved in editing. I don't think I'll be shooting many weddings anymore, the time commitment is just not worth it.

Anyways....have a great day everyone!

Morning ladies... hanging on tight in hopes that the house does not blow away!!! OMG we are getting a horrible wind storm here. Payback for not getting the one predicted a couple of days ago I guess!! Keep your fingers crossed that some of the HUGE trees around our house don't come crashing down on us today! It should make for a lovely mess to clean up in the yard. :mmph:

Chris - sounds like you are dealing with a nasty cold! Hope you feel better soon! OMG really more screw ups with the medical coverage, my god what a PITA!! Doesn't anybody know what is going on there?? I guess all you can do is laugh about it or it wold drive you totally insane :loco: :becky: Have fun shopping with your Mom, it really does get harder each year to know what to buy for your kids as they get older! DD makes a list of things that she really needs, but its nice to get things that you want too. DS is harder to buy for he never gives me any suggestions at all. Good luck with the shopping!! Keeping my fingers crossed that your eye exam goes well and no problems with your eyes at all.

Nancy - It is fun to see old co-workers again, nice that they seem to be doing well. You wouldn't want to be out walking where we are today, you would get blown away!! I need to go to the pool then to the hospital to have a mammogram and I am not looking forward to going out in this stormy weather!! Perhaps the power will go out and I won't have to leave the house. Nahhh that would not happen to me :becky: Did not enjoy the Canuck/Montreal game last night, the only time I cheer for the Canucks are when they are playing Montreal, but darn those Canadians they came through and won the game. Vancouver let a three goal lead slip right out of their hands :mmph:

Ok better get ready for swimming and FaceTime with DD and Mason. Hope you all have a great Tuesday!!

lOve the O!
Good Afternoon O fam- my interview went well. The manager interviewed me at the main site and next week I should get to go to the satellite site I would be working at. The funny thing is, I have been there before and the coordinator used to be the owner when I went before. I would work more hours, however the benefits seem to be really good. I liked the manager, she was all about flexible. It is a slow process. So now I am going to eat lunch and head outside to enjoy the weather and work in my yard.

Laurie - glad to hear the interview went well.

Trudy - we don't have too much wind yet but it's been raining like crazy for the last week. The wind has been picking up though and my garden needs to be cleaned up and pruned before we get any snow. It's been a lot colder this week.

No particular plans today, just hope all of you survive the tasks or weather on your plates today.
