happy Tuesday!!! Good morning and TGFC!!! :tea:

I woke up darn tired and cranky. Hopefully this coffee will make me happier before I have to do housework, food shopping and more Faery-Wings projects today.

Yesterday was one of "those" days. Everything I tried to do/make came out wrong. It took me hours to get one products right- and I don't even know if they are 100% right yet. I have to finish them up this morning.

I made Almond Scented Moisturizing Tub Tabs, Apple Balsam Wax Tarts, Bubble Gum Parfait Lip gloss, and some penguin toy soaps. Today-- ugh- not sure how much I am going to get done, but I want to make a bath whip and maybe some pine cone fire starters.

Its also dark, cold and :rain:.... blergh....

But TGFC!!!!! wheeeeeeeeeee! I'll be doing this :bounce: soon!

Petra- the way you cooked on the truck reminded me how I used to cook in my college dorm. My freinds would all get together with our hot pots and we made a Thanksgiving dinner- sliced deli turkey, warmed up gray, one person did corn and another cooked Stove Top Stuffing. Let me say- it was much better than the stuff we ate at the cafeteria.
My fingers and toes are crossed for lots of freight. I have been hearing the stores are busy here in NJ so far.
How is your niece, any new info?

Nana- I love you very much, but I *never* want to see a steam cleaner again. Even if I am asking for one of my own for Christmas...;) Hope you have a very easy time cleaning! Too bad Miss S can't help you.

ME- I hear you- the weekends go way too fast! Good for you for getting a spot for a day care provider, it is really hard to find someone good.

Kat- good for you, working on the house. I have been in the attic a lot recently and it looks awful. Between Gary and the kids its just a mess. It is such a dauntying task. Good job pacing yourself and making a game plan.

After two weeks off, DH went back to work yesterday, and they socked it to him....he did not get home until after 7 last night and boy was he a grump!!!!! hopefully today won't be as bad. What made it worse on him last night was the rain....PLUS it's totally dark now...time changed while he was off...so he has to get used to that too.

Don't have much here....same old stuff for me...............

Steam cleaning your own carpets? Call Stanley Steamer! :tape2: Seriously too much hassle what they can do in a lot faster time heh. I am all about efficiency!

I have no news on Chloë other than the pneumonia wasn't pneumonia but she has something on her lungs they haven't figured out what it is yet and the antibiotics don't seem to be kicking in yet either so they're running more tests on her. Thanks for asking about her! :)


Well we finally did get a load so we're leaving at 10 AM from St. Cloud, FL to go to Fond Du Lac, WI. Keep your fingers crossed I won't be running into white crapola or ice!! :sad:

Meg your new kit looks fantabulous girl! It's on my long list of kits to buy when a paycheck has been received again :biggrin:

*yawn* waiting for my coffee to brew. It feels like forever since I've been on here! We had a really nice weekend. The hubby got to finish fixing his jeep and we now have it in the shop to get new tires and alignment. Over a year ago my mom gave us her car because we totaled our van. It wasn't a bad accident. I bottomed it out over a median sliding in rain. Grrrrrr. So we were finally able to get a vehicle of our own this summer and then hubby's jeep started giving us problems. It is almost done and we can finally take the car off the insurance and sell it for mom! Yay!
Sunday we had a lunch at church and made chrismons (white ornaments) for the tree and it was just a fun crafty afternoon getting to know more people in the congregation!

Petra: Say hi to my family in Fond Du Lac! Most of my family members are there! I pray you do not run into ice. That's icky stuff! I couldn't imagine having to maneuver a huge truck over it!

I am sorry no more personals. I haven't read that far back. Hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm and dry!

Chris - yes it is - very daunting...and then even worse you have to throw stuff away or give away. Just thinking about the wasted $$ UGH!! But I ave to be realistic and know I am never having that yard sale that I kept saying I was....so I just have to do it!

Katrina - Sounds like you had a great time making ornaments - they sound pretty!

Linda - ((hugs)) awwww...why do they do that to people who come back after vacation :( I hope he has a better day and that you have a fun day playing chase the DVD's ;) That totally made me crack up!! She's so cute!

Petra - Sorry to hear about Chloe - I hope they figure out what it is fast! Glad to hear you got a load!

Okay well I am off...need to process some photos and hopefully scrap a few before I switch over to cleaning maniac again! :) *lol* Have a fab day ladies!
 
Morning all... Well for a change we have the sunshine and it seems everyone else is in the :rain: another quickie for me today LOL. Off to work again and home by 2:00pm so hopefully I will get a bit more time in here for personals this afternoon. Love you all :hug: Later
 
Hey ladies, it's a wet and soggy day here! I had to have a Peppermint Mocha this am so it's put me in better spirits. :)

Christian got his finger caught in the bathroom door at school yesterday and he came home telling me, while holding up the said finger, "This finger doesn't work so well. It's broken." Poor little boy. It is swollen, although it's gone down from last night but I don't think it's broken.

Went out to dinner with a mom friend who I used to work with - she became a stay at home mom a few years ago. Fun to catch up and swap stories.

Now onto personals:

Kat - yes, this weather has me ready to go back to bed too. Can you come and clean my house too? LOL.

Fly by for me today...

Grocery shopping & then I have two appraisal reports. Leftovers for dinner tonight, yay! I'm going to get some of our thanksgiving stuff today, but I'm going to wait to get the bulk of it after I watch PW v Bobby on Throwdown tomorrow night.
