Can i just say how amazing it was to actually sleep last night? I slept-- not to bad-- woke up a few times, refused to open my eyes and was able to get back to sleep. Thank goodness. :hail:
Can any of you relate to that???? (I know there are a whole bunch of you that can.)

It was really neat going back to my old college. In some ways it felt like I was just there a few years ago- walking from building to building- felt to familiar. Then there were a few new buildings and that was weird! I also had a really nice time being with Scott's GF and her mom without scott around. It was just a different "feel" if YKWIM.
I also finally scrapped an art journal page that had been floating in my head for the last week or two. There is a song that describes exactly how I feel some days with lyme. Every time I hear it (usually in my car!) I start placing the words on the page in my head. So it was cool to get it out of my head and onto my screen. It didn't come out exactly as I saw it in my head, but that always happens to me LOL

Off to work at my MIL's today-- supposed to be beautiful weather which means I will be outside, yay!!!

Hope that the weather stays great! The photo of the Patio was just gorgeous!! And wow-- you go!!! Working out on vacation, that is true dedication!!!!

Phyllis- Your poor body must be hurting with all of that yard work. Hope it is not too bad. I hear ya on the well water.It makes me nervous too. Gary built a rain barrel for us to collect run off from the gutter and we have been using that since last year to water the plants outside. Don't care about the "lawn" since it is mostly dandelions and crabgrass LOL

The kids-- Scott witnessed a motorcycle accident on his way home with Leah and her mom the night before and the man died. He was pretty shook up about it. They had to wait and watch until the police and ambulance came.
And Cait- I found out she had been purging and with my history of anorexia that freaks me out on many, many levels. Apparently she had only been purging a few times, them stopped, then did again. But it breaks my heart,makes me angry and fearful and then the guilt of my bad examples come through too.
So nothing major but just more bumps in the road of teen-life. And parent-life. *wry smile*

Yay for more time on the playground Angela! And those haircuts!! You did great! And your boys are seriously adorable!!!!

Good Nana to take the boys out and make them go to school. I did that with Scott last week when he went to that concert and I said the same thing.

Nancy- so happy that you have been out and about in the NJ weather! Awesome getting to see al of those birds too! We have some kind of a big woodpecker that lives in the woods behind us--- black wings with white stripes and big crowned head. He is so cool to look at and I never am able to get any pics of him!

High fives to you and your group Trudy!! Your Aunt sounds amazing!!!! She would be me in any sort of walking contest for sure

Morning my O fam- no exercise yet- I slept in till 6:15- the men are off soon to play golf, and my sister and I are off to shop today. I think we may take the trolley! I till need to unload my cameras. Oh my I have been eating so much.

Oh wow........... a very tired Nana here.............very tired.....boys off to school and I will now be taking a nap!!! being old(ish) has an advantage or two :becky:

They had a fabulous time last night, but WOW it was sooooo long....I really gave out around 10....but it wasn't over until after 11....


Oh crap...I can't take too long of a nap....I have to take Bug to her cooking class this morning....I signed her up for a Mini Chef class...it's for 3-5 yo's and last for 4 weeks. I called her teacher at school to make sure it was okay to take her out once a week...she said yes, she thought it would be good for her.


That's about it from me...off to rest my eyes for a bit now...have a great day ladies!!

Good morning - got my laundry done and got my grocery shopping done so yesterday was productive. Then when I went to cook I wimped out and ordered in. My girlfriend and I as we were walking were taking about one of our fav restaurants so I ordered from them. And it was yummy! Again watched lots of hockey. Going to bed at 1am and waking up at 7:30. LOL

Chris glad you got some sleep. Glad you had a good time going to your old school. I took my sons to mine and it does bring back lots of memories. Kids never ending joy but a lot of worry during those teenage years. Sorry about the accident and your son having to witness the it. I am sure you will help Cait.

Laurie have fun shopping!

Nana glad that you had fun at the wrestling event! It must have been such fun to see the boys faces. Have fun at the cooking class. You deserve a long nap!

i already did an hour and a half of the power washing. i'm almost 3/4 of the way DONE. trying to get some more in before it rains.

Chris, glad you got some sleep. i tried to sleep in the bed last night, and between Hubby snoring and me having to change positions every 10 minutes, it didn't work out well. i finally went down to the recliner around 3 a.m. re: your kids. wow. Scott is getting a faceful of LIFE this year. all of the stuff he's experienced is not easy to forget. and Cait. you would know better than me, for sure, but isn't early treatment the best? should she talk to someone? this is so difficult. wow. just (((hugs))) to everyone.

Laurie, it sounds like heaven! keep enjoying yourself!

Nancy, your affection for hockey is the most intense i've ever run across! i guess the Pens on on the ice again tonight. hopefully, the game won't be as "exciting" as the last one....

Morning all... Record breaking temps for us these past two days and more on the way today!!!! It actually got up to 31 degrees Celsius here, which is 87.8 Fahrenheit it hasn't been that warm since 1940 something. Loving it! but also makes me concerned as to what the temps will be this summer and not much rain for our area, so we could be on water restrictions early this year, Yikes!!

Chris - Doesn't the world have a whole different look about it when you have had a good nights sleep!! I have slept like a log for the past two nights, but this morning at 6am SIL Linda phoned to tell us about a dream that she had!!!! WTH!! Really it couldn't wait until later on today or tonight?? I am biting my tongue trying not to say what I think!!! LOL
Sorry that your son had to witness that bad accident! Hope it does not haunt him for too long!! Oh dear, I sure hope Cait realizes the danger she could be in going down that road of purging, but I know that you will steer her in the right direction!! :hug:

Nancy - What restaurant did you order from? Its always ok to splurge and not cook once in a while!! Yes hubby was on cloud nine with his Bruins, although he thinks that there have been many bad calls from the refs, and he used to be a ref so for him to criticize them is big!!!
