Its MMG's b-day today! Now is as old as I am for 6 weeks. LOL
How is everyone? I was soooo tired yesterday. I had a super busy weekend and then little sleep Sunday night. I got home from shopping and ended up (trying to) take a nap. My puppy didn't think I needed to sleep.
I didn't get a chance to tell you how amazing the Lyme Panel forum went on Saturday. Scott rocked the house- again. That kid is incredible. I had people coming up to me in the ladies room telling me how he had everyone in tears, how strong he is. These are all people in the mental health profession so they aren't just saying it. B/c of Scott's input, the therapy group is interested in putting together a kids/teens support group for Lyme and chronic illness.
I also found out that if I were a horse, I would be able to get diagnosed and treated w/o any issue. A woman said that Chronic Lyme is recognized in the equine medical community. If a horse goes lame for no reason and/or has a personality change, the vet will assume Lyme, and treat with 2-3 months of abx, no questions, no problems. Yet as a human, I have to fight for all of that. Crazy world, eh??
I am off to clean today for my BFF- then we are "celebrating" Gary's b-day with Pizza for dinner. That is what he wanted! We are having family over on Sat. so this is just the 4 of us.
Gotta get myself off of the computer and ready to roll.......
Tip on Tuesday:
If you live in a Lyme endemic area (which us really much of the US) -- be a horse.
