Just back for a minute :)

So, how was everyone's past few days? It got hot out here, yay!!! I even went down to the beach yesterday like I had hoped. I know, bad for my skin, but I really needed a pick me up of some sun.

Today is my 19 year wedding anniversary. That is flipping me out. hehe! That is a darn long time, eh?? Scott asked me the other day if I was having a mid-life crisis. I said to him "Maybe I am" :pound: I feel ancient some days.
No plans for the anniversary, except my mom sent me home with a quiche and some garlic bread so that will be out "nice" dinner.

Personals:

Laurie- what a pain about the network. It is so weird how things can one fine one day and be all FUBAR'd the next.
Sounds like you were very productive this weekend!

Trudy- fresh mulch just makes a garden/yard look so nice! Hope you aren't achy today.

Phyllis- you got up to 92*? Yiles- are were in upper 80's and humid, Gary struggled but was able to get the AC units in the kids' rooms last night. Those bulbs sounds like a total PITA and I know what you mean about hard pack clay/rocky stuff, its impossible to dig in.

Clara- woooooo hoooo in the coffee appliances!!!!!! I am so proud of you doing this- its really awesome!
How is FIL feeling?
That is one heck of a kooky story about running out of gas- really good time and place for it!

Hi dreamynest! Welcome to the Ooo's! Hugs!!

lOve the O!
Morning Chris- glad you are back- we may get storms this am that knock down the humidity a bit- I hope. I am back at work today- played catch up y'day and was a scrapping fool this weekend- felt like a sugar rush- so good- no after affect though. I also ate way too many salty foods- good thing we do not picnic often and the scales and I are in serious battle. I did walk this am. Now to shower and head into work for a full day. Have happy ones my O fam- or maybe marvelous mondays!

Chris, hope you had a great getaway! and so happy you got some HEAT and sun, at last. i'm starting to tghink we need a little LESS of it. temps down into the 80s today, so the AC is off and the fans are on. and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. just to make you feel you, i will tell you that my next wedding anniversary will be our 35th....:eek2:

Clara, talk about LUCK! i can't believe your running out of gas story!

Laurie, i swear that high-tech stuff like remote access was invented just so it can raise your hopes about what technology can do--then fail when you need it.

today gardening, grocery shopping (now that all the MEN are out of the grocery store. they drive me NUTS with their shopping cart cluelessness....) laundry. and my cat puked on my very light beige living room carpet AND my new couch, so i'll be checking out how my cleaning job worked as soon as everything dries. it's not like he doesn't have about 8 other rooms he can puke in. he's got to go for the new and the beige. i could kill him. (but i won't....)

have a Happy Tuesday, everyone! do what you love.

Morning ladies... Horray its Tuesday!! My housework is done, my laundry is done, the only thing I have to do today is be here, hopefully create a few layouts and then get my butt to the lab to have my thyroid checked. The sun is trying hard to shine, but the weatherman says :rain: :noidea:

Chris - Happy Anniversary!! How wonderful that you have spent 19 years together!! Not something that happens a lot these days! You should be very proud!! My MG and I will be celebrating our 36th anniversary this coming February
So glad that you had a nice time on your little vacation and that you got to soak up the sun a bit yesterday!! Good ole vitamin D always makes you feel better doesn't it!!

Laurie - You really were a scrapaholic over the past couple of days!! WTG girl! sure hope I can get a few done myself today! I too am having a real battle with the scales lately, wish I could get my thyroid in good working condition again. I could starve myself for weeks and still put on weight! WTH?? Oh well hopefully things will work themself out! Have a great work day!!

Phylis - Awww, too bad that your kitty always picks the worst place to get sick, My Mr. Abu used to do the same!! Usually right on my new bedspread (when he could still jump up onto my bed) Of course it would have to be dry-cleaned!! I agree with men and shopping carts!! just get your groceries and get home for God's sake!! LOL

Clara - Your story about running out of gas was unbelievable!! If that were me, I would have been stranded out in the middle of nowhere!! So happy that things are falling into place for your new business! So excited for you!!

Kristy - Sounds like an exhausting weekend for you! Hope everyone gets caught up on their rest!! Enjoy the day!!

Well I am off to get some breakfast, I actually slept until 7am this morning a record for me! Feeling good and ready to conquer the day! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

always chatty at the O!!
Hey ladies!!

Been an okay day. Had a coffee meeting this morning. That is always fun. then I went to drop Addie off at school and got a call from animal control that our dog was loose. They are not very nice either...she essentially threatened me in a nice sweet voice. ugh!! I think we may end up having to give our dog away. I can't hang out with him because he make my allergies freak out and I get itchy just thinking about him and he doesn't get walked often enough and so he escapes. He is a big dog...weighing about 85 pounds so even though he is sweet and harmless he freaks out. It just sucks. I don't know what to do.

Today we have the weirdest weather. It is hot as heck but has been raining off and on all day. Tomorrow we are supposed to have storms from a tropical storm. We'll see what happens.

Chris - Congrats on your anniversary!! have fun just hanging out with your hunny!!

Laurie - i am quite jealous about the scrapping. I have had absolutely NO mojo lately. I have pics to scrap just no motivation. I hope work was not too bad after the long weekend.

Phylis - what is it about animals doing that stuff in all the wrong places...not that anyplace is the right place. We came home to cat poop here. Not fun.

Kristy - sounds like a busy weekend. Always great to spend time with family.

Trudy - I hope you enjoy your day. I love days with little to do.
