Good morning and happy Tuesday to you all.
Let's do some nice neck stretches this morning. Breathe in and stretch your neck slowly and gently to the right, with your ear towards your shoulder. Bring your neck back to the center and breathe in and drop your neck toward your chest. Back to center, and then to your left shoulder. Back to center and then gently back. One last breath in as you come back to center.
How are you all this morning? I am feeling a bit better. A lot better, actually. Wow, that was sort of unexpected! hahaha! I can't say that I got a lot done yesterday but I accomplished *things* and that is a good feeling. I finally brought some summer clothes down from the attic and packed up a box of winter sweaters. While I was in the attic, I tidied up the small areas that are "mine." Gary is a hoarder and there is so much junk that it is hard to walk.
I scrapped a page from Pirate Night which was fun and I was thrilled to be able to do something creative. Cait and I are now able to miss Tat and laugh at the same time. I can't remember what we had said but we both started getting very choked up and teary, then we were back to making fun of the time she got stuck in the window of their little house.
I don't think it is supposed to rain today and as long as it doesn't, Scott and I are going to go to the garden center to get plants. No one is doing curbside for plants but if we are outside with masks and gloves we should be ok. The photos from people around the country in pools, boardwalks, etc all not wearing masks gave me such anxiety. I worry about what is going to happen in the next few weeks with cases spiking again. Hopefully not in NJ, we-- and NY- are still declining and have been taking precautions pretty darn seriously. I saw a video of a woman not wearing a mask in Staten Island, NY getting booted out of a store by a bunch of masked shoppers. Good for them!
I guess I will wake Scott up around 10 if he isn't up yet so we will have the afternoon to do the planting.
Gratitudes:
-dirt, plants, more dirt, and more plants
-my ILs who dropped of fresh spinach, broccoli rabe, and a huge -- I mean - huge! bag of shredded cheddar
-Gary for making up a triple batch of his vodka sauce for us, his parents, and mine
Wishing everyone a happy day!
