Morning Peeps!

Are any of you insomniacs up now? I hope not. It's 8amish in Italy and today we are taking a bus down the coast. Our time in Genoa was a bit shorter than we'd have liked but the air fares were different if we had stayed longer.
I am really really liking Genoa, the size despite the San Francisco type hills, is very walkable. I finally got to the big Market yesterday and oh...the food the food. Sadly, I don't have much more cooking time but I visually cooked a lot in that market!

Hope you all have a Terrific Tuesday! ciao Maureen

Maureen, Oh to still be in Italy..... wish I was there with you :)

I am just here for a quick minute. But I wanted to say Good morning to everyone!

Scott had a nice b-day yesterday and today is my BFF's birthday. Bummer that it is raining still. At least the weekend here was nice.

Be back in a bit

Hugs!

ciao, Maureen! i'll have to have a look at Genoa online. it's one of those places i can't picture. were you anywhere close enough to feel the big earthquake the other day?

Chris, i'll have to look at the radar to see where your rain is coming from. we haven't had any. were supposed to get some last night, today, but they keep lowering the "chance of" percentage.

well, today is for one of my not-so-favorite things: face waxing! :fear: the moustache part just about sends me through the roof.... it is such a drag to be such a gorilla. the older i get, the LESS hair i have on my arms and the MORE i have on my face. WHY does that happen? it's such a perverse trick to play on girlzies.

then, i guess, more laundry. and maybe i'll take myself out to lunch at My Big Fat Greek Gyro. then i have to root through some old, unscanned photos for a photo i'm remembering but can't find on my computer. that should take a lot of time.

Sweet Tuesday to everyone!

morning O fam- done with my walk- gift to myself- and on to the rest of the day- so excited that it took 2 weeks before work became a drag- longest time ever after a vacation. Yesterday did not end the way I had envisioned, but today, the sun is shining and it is a new day. Off to shower and get on with a terrific tuesday!

good morning everyone..i am gonna ATTEMPT to open my program and do SOMETHING today!!! I am gonna see about taking some pictures of my girls....see if i cannot get inspired to do something!

I am back for a few. I got my house-chores somewhat done, with the exception of a pan in desperate need of some soaking. My MIL brought up a ham for Scott's b-day and had the pan in a box top for support. Soemone put the pan-in-the-box on top of my fridge and I had no idea that a dirty greasy pan was hiding inside until I pulled it down to put into recycling this morning. oops!!

Now I am just killing time until I head out for work around 10. So what better place to be than here. :)

Kristy- you and me, both! I actually had time yesterday to scrap but absolutely NO inspiration or motivation. Maybe I should be like Phyllis and do some scanning later on today.

Laurie- sorry that yesterday was a bummer at work, but 2 weeks-- that is not a bad stretch at all. :whoo:
Enjoy the sun!

Phyllis- I hope you are having good weather, maybe then it will swing out this way, right? As of right now it looks like rain for the next 3 days. ugh!!

From yesterday:

Laurie- aw, poor baby bird. What a sweetie YMG is.
MMG found a robin's nest in our hedges. Actually Mama Robin found him and was yelling quite loudly and dive bombing him. There are 3 eggs in the nest now. I have been wanted to get some pics- but this rain won't let me.

Phyllis- No more party maven for me! I am so wiped out from it all. Like I said, I am *blessed* that my family all brings tons of stuff and helps out so much too.
Did the derm give you any advice on the skin? I wish I could get someone to please tel me why and how i can be wrinkled and acne-d at the same time. Boo!

Trudy- mmm mmmm! Home made wine, sounds wonderful!!! Hope that YMG stays out of your way this time around. Isn't that what he said last time?? LOL
What are the details on his new job?? Good luck with all of that!!

kristy- I wish I had your exercise ability and stamina! Wow!! Good for you :first:

Off to the gallery now-- xoxoxo!!!!

Good Morning sweet "O"'s ! It is trying very hard to be sunny today, but we will see. It's terrific Tuesday and I have to share my day off today. Hubby promised to be out of my hair today, but I bet he won't keep his promise :mmph: He was already making plans to go to a Movie late this afternoon, which might be nice to have a date night in the middle of week. Not sure if there is anything good playing right now?? So today I am trying to get some scrapping done and then a bit of :washing: but nothing else planned today.

Maureen - Sounds like your vacation is dreamy! I would love to try all the food and wine that Italy has to offer!! Will be checking out where you are on the internet, hope that the quake was not felt where you are!! Have fun!!!

Chris - Glad your Son's birthday went well, how nice that your family all helps out so much!! You are right my MG did promise to keep out of my hair last time and that did not happen LOL! It won't happen this time either I bet!!

Laurie - Love your great outlook on work!! I sometimes really have to drag myself out the door for work, but yesterday was good day, it makes for a nicer evening when the day goes well!!

Phylis - Ouch!! on the moustache !! It is a dirty trick that gets played on us women, after all we are still women, not men!!! MIL has a terrible time with chin hair, ugh!! She doesn't see so well so she does not always know that its there, how do you tell an elderly woman that she needs a shave?? Have fun looking through your photos!!

Well best get some breakfast, my tummy is growling, MG is usually wondering about now what's for breakfast, but I think I scared him yesterday about leaving me alone and now he's afraid to say anything :eyebrows: LOL.

Opps sorry Kristy I missed you! Looks like you got your inspiration back! Love your layout!!

I just have to chime in on the facial hair! When dh and I got married I told him, he had to check my chin hairs for when I couldn't see them any more. Uh, oh....he couldn't see them then, 11 years ago! I can feel them more easily than see them and it's tweeze tweeze tweeze.

DH is going to a new dermatologist next week for bits of skin that the prior dermatologist wanted to remove surgically. I too am looking for a new Dr. and hope dh feels comfortable with this one. I had a feeling my current/former dermatologist was too anxious to cut because I was once told that a mole on my chin, which has always bugged me did not need any treatment but...BUT...they could remove it and just bill it as if it were. hmmmm....Perhaps a bit anxious to bill Medicare???

And sadly, I have known quite a few women who got acne again as the went into the menopause years. It really isn't fair is it...

Maureen... I have asked my DH to do the same, but his vision is worse than mine LOL!! So its like you say you have to feel for them. But sadly my MIL just doesn't really seem to care too much  and her hubby couldn't be bothered to even look.
