hello O-zies! How is everyone today? I am the same old, same old. I am trying to feel a bit more positive with varying degrees of success. It ranges from -593 to +3. hahahaha!!!

I had a long day yesterday. It started out with me trying to desperately get my food shopping together, fighting with the online shopping in case I didn't have my car today. Then I was working on some behind the scenes stuff here and that made my head go :boom: Off to the Dr who is seeing some more flexibility, adjusted my boot, and wants to see me in 3 weeks. Ugh. I am so glad that my parents live close to the office b/c at least I get a free lunch out of the deal. JK, I am happy to see them no matter what. My dad was able to get my car back around 3.30 p. Some of this was covered by the warranty but he said that it also needed a water pump. Here I am thinking that a water pump costs the same as an oil/air filter. Nope! $600+. He paid for that too. I didn't realize that until I got home or I would have fought him then and there.
:fencing:

Floyd is still hanging on.

I am off to the supermarket this morning and I can't think about anything after that until it happens.
Hugs and love to all of you xoxxo

Kay- are you any less stiff this morning? I hope that a hot shower and maybe some Advil is all that you needed. My parents and I talked about cleaning out their basement but that, unfortunately, got off on a tangent about how my dad's cousins did a smash and grab at his mom's house after she died. My mom was very unhappy about that and still lets him know 21 years later.
My mom is looking so much better, I hope that when she sees the cardiologist this month he has a good report. I have to plan meals ahead of time or we would be having cereal or ordering pizza every night instead!

Trudy- Oh no!!!! I am sorry that you scrapped the painting! I guess there was just enough that you didn't like that it was never going to look right? And I will bet that no one but you would notice but as long as you did, it had to go.

Nancy- How fun for a surprise party even if she had an idea of it. It was freezing on Sunday! You are brave to be out there. Were you at Liberty State Park? I imagine you got some great photos. I am glad that you are getting informed about COVID 19 on your own since no one is going to have a clue if they listen to DT. :tape: I have to not talk about him or I will :yell:
Although I had a dream last night that I was watching an interview and he was talking about he gets his hair cut. He asks each hair if he should cut it or not. I woke up thinking yup, that is totally believable. hahaha!!

Rae- good luck on getting all caught up on your workload. I am cheering you on!

Felis- so happy that you had an awesome day!! It was close to 60* here yesterday and it was sunny too. The nicer weather helps so much, doesn't it?

I am off to go check on Floyd again. xoxo

I'm keeping busy these days and we're off to a lunch and meeting in a bit. Sunday it started warming up and our snow is now gone but we had several days with it, some with sun too.

Chris that is such good news about your mom's improvement. And don't fight your dad over car expenses! He wants you to have a good, safe car and no worries. Hope you don't stress too much at the grocery store.

Waving to all, hoping you have a good day!

Oh... I am dragging this morning. Fell asleep around 9 PM then woke up a midnight and couldn't go back to sleep. So got on-line and did a bit of scrapping until 3 PM. Then woke up at 6:30 AM! Hope that doesn't happen again.

Did a lot of reorganizing out in the garage with LOTS of HELP from DD#3 and her hubby on Sunday. Yesterday I did more work in the guest bedroom. Took down decorative pictures and other wall decorations. The pictures are large with glass so had to bubble wrap the fronts, then wrap in packing paper. Ended up cutting cardboard box [from garage door opener] to make a box for the 3 pictures. That meant crawling around on the family room floor to cut and fit it for them.

Called a golfing buddy of DH's and he will be over on Thursday to pick up some golfing stuff. Think that might the last of DH's golfing items. He will share them with golfing group that Bill belonged to. Still have several boxes out the garage that I need to sort through. But that is going to have to wait awhile as the body is really talking to me today.

Need to get a bite to eat then take my Alieve. I really need it today. CYL

good morning - had a great talk with my sister. Just the usual catching up on kids and life. Nothing but good stuff so that is great. Yesterday the weather was gorgeous up to 62 degrees. Luther and I had a great walk of over 1.5 miles. I was happy as there was not pain. Cooked a good curry dish but they did not give us rice and that seemed weird. The flavors were great. Watched some hockey. Then heard that a devastating tornado hit Nashville. Luckily the game was over before it hit. So terrible. Doing more of my online birding course. My Devils play tonight the Vegas Golden Knights and that will be a tough game and it is a late game. Not starting until 10:30. I will have to take a nap.

Chris glad that your ankle is doing better. Hope your mood swings to the positive! Good luck with grocery shopping. Again so glad your mom is looking better and that is so sweet of your dad to help with car expenses.

Jean sorry you had snow but so glad that it is gone. And I was sure you were busy with meeting, art and scrapping! Have fun!

Kay hope you are feeling better today!

Rae hope you were not up too late getting all the work done. Glad that you and Taz were able to get out! Have fun today!

Trudy your MG must be so happy to see how well David Pasternak is doing for the Bruins. Looks like they are back to winning!

Felis glad you had a better day! My Wellness swimming is an individual thing. You pick the time to go and you do the exercises. I love the flexibility.

Have a great day all!

Morning everyone! I have been face timing with Heather and the boys all morning. No school today for them as the buses are not running due to the thick fog that they had this morning. If its not one thing its another LOL. The boys are having lots of fun though, they really seem to get along well together! I will be quick here as I need to get to the pool to do my laps now.

Chris - Good luck at the supermarket! I know it is one of your favourite things to do (NOT) !! LOL.

Jean - Hope you have a great meeting today!

Kay - Hope that the Alieve really helps you out and that you have a much better sleep tonight!

Nancy - How great to talk with your sister and lucky you getting out for a good long walk with Luther! Yes DH is very happy with his fav player Pasta!! Good luck to your Devils tonight!

Ok I am late getting going so will have to come back later today to try to get some scrapping done and a few other CT things! Have a great day everyone!

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday was so busy but I was able to get all the backlog done. Days like that make me really long for 2 more yrs when I will be retired and maybe just working a few days a week. I'm getting sick of working a 5 day wk.

Poor D, he came home and found the new renters next store have started parking in front of our house which means there is room for him to park behind them if they pull forward enough but if anyone visits they will take both our spots so D will have to park across the street or in front of someone else's home. The previous renter used to do that and it infuriated him. He can't understand why people can't just park in front of their own home. So the battle will start up soon I'm sure. With the last people, he parked our truck in front of their home and left it there for a month. I don't know what that accomplished aside from embarrassing me, as they still parked in front of our place after that anyway. Ugh.

Today I need to run errands, get groceries, do some meal planning. Tried a new keto smoothie recipe and love it. I'll be having that for lunch at least a few times a week. Its got choc, vanilla, avocado, sweetener, peanut butter (I used PB powder), almond milk and a bit of cream. Yum.

Poor Jen is feeling miserable. Did I tell you she had gum grafting done last wk? They did one side, 40 stitches and will take about a month before she can eat solids. She says its very painful. Then they will do the other side. Poor girl. We're going to the movies on Sat night and it'll be like torture for her to smell the popcorn and not be able to eat anything but she still wants to go.

Chris - how nice of your dad. Glad your mom is doing well.

Jean - enjoy the lunch meeting.

Kay - sounds like the sorting/cleaning out is coming along. Hope you get a better sleep tonight.

Nancy - how great that went on a long walk with Luther with no pain. I can't wait for our temps to get up into the 60s'. We're still in the high 40's/low 50's. Saw the first sign of spring in our garden yesterday. Funny thing is, I can't remember what it is. I see the green shoots coming up, about 6" high. I think it might be yellow tulips.

I'd better get to work now before heading out for a walk with Taz. Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon all
I hit the gym this morning and worked with my trainer. So far I am doing great and can see the improvements little by little.

The DR. report re my heart can back with a gold star. yay me! All is well and the blood flow is as it should be. That takes care of that little worry so now I just need to get fit again after so long on the sidelines.

Now I need to get going on my challenges for this month. I am toying with stepping down from some of my private designer CT duties and sticking to Oz just to give myself more time for other activities. I am far too sedentary and need to get out of the house more often. It will be a hard move though.

Hello girls!
Today is our Liberation day, but this year I didn't had any doubts did I want to go on the celebrations. Everybody else had other plans and it was too windy to want to go anywhere by myself. We all gets together to celebrate at afternoon. So yes I had to wake up extremely early again (OK for you 5am is probably just early, but for my this is so difficult!) , to can take shower before others, because my hair needs time to dry properly as I'm trying to not use hair dryer, and at the night before was too cold at the bathroom to do this as an usual. This is also something I think to scrap for at Rae's Journaling Challenge. Anyway!
It was very unusual almost surrealism day. My family don't talk for feelings, never! And almost never for philosophy topics as they bring us to argue. But this afternoon we have very calm, very deep conversation about the meaning of freedom, and also lots of memories about my grandparents. Was very nice, and even my aunt was left on side her usual habit to gossip. Was really festive day! :partywine

Chris, don't let me even start about that how many I still rely financial to my family. I know it's shouldn't be at this way, but what can I do, it's not like I spend these money for treats, they support me at my tries to save lives and make the world better at least for few cats. :tape2:
Hmm, it have something that I do to makes me feels better in situation as this with Floyd. I say goodbye to my baby till is still here, saying things as: "It's all right honey, it was long journey, but you can go now. Go through the light and go find (in your cases) Merlin! It's all right baby, we are done here! I'll find you again some day, but now I'm letting you go." , it's silly but cats are very sensitive and they feels when you are nervous and scared, so they tries to mobilize and stay here. This good bye makes me to calm down and make him feels that there is no need to try to makes me company anymore. Also helps me to accept the situation coldblood.

Jean, I'm always happy to hear that you are busy with favorite stuff!

Kay,, it must be very hard to give these sentimental golfing stuffs away, but now they'll become lucky sticks to his friends, sounds as a good way for tribute to Bill's memory! For your sleeping troubles are you try to listen ASMR or white noise records? It have lots of them at youtube and Spotify. I'm insomniac too, and it's often helps me.

Nancy, I was left with impression that you do Wellness swimming in group, but yes the flexibility make it comfortable with sure. Your day sounds really lovely! Oh, so bad about this tornado!

Trudy, L O L, looks like Heather and the boys celebrated our Liberation day too, without to know it LOL . Have fun at the pool!

Rae, I can totally relate with this, our house was in farm area, but after urbanization many property was separated to few little houses with only one garage to house. And families now have two or more cars and they just left them everywhere. Blocking walk aley or even at the the entrance of the dog park, it's so annoying! You should not be embarrassed when your husband guard his territory! Isn't this the most normal thing? I freak out every time when some car wait my neighbor's granddaughter at the evening, as we was robbed few times already and these strangers makes me very nervous. She make them to wait long time till do her make up, they looking around bored, staring at my property, left cigarette garbage, and all that just because she don't have space on her front door  , come on ! :brick:
