Happy Tuesday! Yup, I am still in bed trying to behave.I had a bit of a set back yesterday. I did a little too much walking and being out of bed and ouch, I paid for it. I had a drs appt to get my dressings changed and I wanted to take a quick bath before that. Then it was 45 minutes in the car to the office, back and forth to that, then another 45 minutes home. My incision is *much* bigger than I expected. I was thinking it was going to be an inch or so-- it is closer to 3, 3 1/2" Over my ankle to the top of my foot. It is all wrapped back up again and I go back next Monday.

Felis, the tattoo is destroyed LOL
He said that I can start putting more weight on it and not use the crutches the entire time. I stood to put away some laundry, walked on my own to the bathroom. I wanted to see the family a bit too so we watched some TV together. By the time I got up to go back into bed, OMG- it hurt so much. So today... I am going to behave. Although, in my defense, I thought that I was behaving.

I am feeling badly for my MIL. She had convinced herself that she didn't have any love for her brother but now that he is gone, she is really sad. And I can't do anything to help her from here.:(

I can see the sun is shining this morning so I hope it is getting warmer. The first time outside since Wednesday and yesterday was cold, windy and cloudy. But I hear some birds singing a bit so that is a really good sign.

I hope that all of you have a fantastic day!

Kay- I am so sorry that you lost your friend and are feeling down. It must be so hard to lose people that you care about while you are still grieving as it is. Must seem like it piles up and up. Sending you good thoughts~~

Felis- so happy that you made it to the candy store- I would have been drooling!
Trudy- yay for being pinecone free- I have that issue with acorns. I have to rake them into piles and dump them back into the woods. But it feels good when it is done. Hope that your back is feeling better today.
Rae- I bet B and Taz were both so happy to run together, can't wait to see your pages of them
Sharon- it must feel amazing to have your DD back home with you!! :whoo:

Hi, girls! How are you today?! Boring day here. Mostly to discussing the last gossip is what the people are doing.
I'm not sure do you interested from sport generally, or it's just hockey. But maybe you are hear that one of our biggest sportsman the boxer Kubrat Pulev make a big scandal when after won, on a final of his interview he kiss the journalist. I'm not sure how to feel about that. He is really great man, hero for my country, and make so many nice charity things. From other side this behaviour is too wrong. Mostly because he is married. The girl journalist wasn't acting professional. All the interview I was staring at her naked nipples, so she isn't completely innocent. Also in europe kiss aren't big deal, it's inappropriate, but to be counted as sexual abuse this is silly. European lady will slap your face, instead to pretend that nothing happens and to complain in social media after that. Oh and you just should see what the fengirls do, it's a madness, but yes when woman do it it's ok. Also this reminds me of old case with my favorite singer who was kiss journalist and she use his name for her fame agess after that. I don't know, when you likes someone, it is confusing to see him make stupid things public. We all know what happens in the nightclubs, but day life should not be like that. Will follow this with interest, because I'm so piss off from the feminists. They are friends, Kubrat and this girl the journalist, so why people always stick their noses into someone else's business. There is nothing wrong one woman to be attractive and to search for attention, why feminist have to act as stressed and frigide?! We shoud be feminist and sexy at the same way!

However, let's see what's new is going on with you from yesterday.

Trudy, oh, I'm in love with this dusting smilie!!! No matter how pedantic housekeeper is Heather, and we have no doubts that she is, kids who communicated with other kids always catch always catch some disease. I'm pretty sure this was one of the reasons mothers here to insist to legalize homeschooling. Hope they to get well soon! Poor, girl, it's awful to deal with sick family, when you also aren't feeling well!
Oh yes the weather is really dry. The farmers who raise wheat alarmed that their production is in danger. We didn't have even so much snow as you. This will be hard year if April didn't fix the things.
Hey, this morning I saw you online at 5am local time, which must be really late at your part of the world, maybe midnight?!

Kay, it's totally understandable to being sad in this situation with your friend and all! It's nice that you try to hide it when you are with your kids. They deserve a nice time with you! But don't forget that we are here for you and always have shoulder to cry on! Hope that scraping helps you! Your pages are so beautiful and gently!

Chris, I'm not surprised from you at all! Why it's so difficult to stay in bed? Or can we exchange?! I can lie and listen music for ages! No, seriously, really sorry for the pain! And the tattoo, this is too bad! You can pretend it is something abstract :) ! Here is too cold today, so hope at least you to have sun!

 to all, have a lovely day! I was here whole morning so better to go!

Sorry that my postings are all strange, I am using the old laptop and the keys/touch pad don't always work the way that I like :p

Felis- that stinks about the computer needing to be repaired but I am very happy that you were able to get it done!

Trudy- when you have kids that age, doesn't matter how clean your house it or how often you wash your hands - everyone is always sick, right?
Kay- I missed the Mini-Os release, I imagine that they are awesome as always.

I miss my desktop set up so much! It is asking me forever to even do these short personals. I wish I could write more for all of you. Please know that I am thinking of you all!! xoxo

good morning - well yesterday was one of my best. Did a lot of good walking. Went to the Devils game and the Devils defeated the Sabres 3-1. And then slept the night with only waking once to go to the bathroom. So I think my stamina is getting better but I sure do well just standing. I do have to work on that. My poor DH is home today as his tooth is giving him lots of pain. He had a new crown and is thinking is it not doing well. Today is more PT for me.

Chris so glad that you are doing so well. Glad the doctor's appt went well. It does feel so good when you finally get outside. I just saw that Sat should be near 70. Maybe you will be able to sit out in the sun for a while with your foot elevated. bummer about your tattoo. so sorry that your MIL is feeling so sad. I know you will be able to help her soon.

Trudy glad you backyard is cleaned of pinecones. Hope you had fun doing what you wanted yesterday. I was watching the scores at the Rock and saw the Bruins up on Lightning 4-2 and then could not believe they lost to them 5-4. That Lightning team is scary! Sorry that Heather and kids still sick. Those winter colds seem to just hang on!

Rae I loved the photos on Facebook of your photo walk. Gorgeous. How fun your time was with B. I bet Taz was equally as happy!

Kay so sorry about your loss. Lovely that you went out for dinner.

Sharon I bet having your daughter home is just the best!

Felis glad you got your computer fixed and that is was done so quickly.

OK here is my take on the interview. How to word this but I am one of those whose feels that the sports person while at an interview should not be kissing the person who is doing the interview. It does not matter whether it is a man interviewing a woman or visa versa. It is not the appropriate time for a kiss. I can totally understand if after the interview is over and the two friends want to share a kiss that is perfectly fine. And at that point it is no one business but theirs. I can tell you that living with two sons it is trying to explain to them what women want when we say we are feminists. They think that means we want equality and it does. But it does not mean we want advantages or we want to be allowed to do jobs we are not qualified for. I know when I started at my job there were three of us all coming into the same position. They gave the man the most because he had a family to support. Really he had a wife and she had a job. Well what was different is that the two women got paid less. Anyway I think feminists like being sexy but I don't think they like being told if they are harmed that they asked for it by being sexy. It is a time of change.

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. I was going to take Taz out for a jog before starting work but the rain has come so I'll wait til later today when it warms up a bit and hopefully the rain won't be very heavy. I'm feeling really good about things these last few wks. Scrapping more, online less often, reading more and getting outdoors a lot. It's been really good for me. I haven't had the time to scrap much for a long time so this change in schedule is really making me happy. I am having a blast using kits from all different stores which I haven't done in yrs b/c when you do CT work, you stick with a designer or store. So this has been a fun change in my scrapping.

We're waiting to hear if B gets into the care home the rehab applied to. We should hear in the next wk or so. In the meantime, she is really enjoying Noel (the cat) and Taz (my dog) coming up to see her a few times a week. I'm going to start looking at point & shoot compact cameras for B, hopefully something a bit sturdy/resilient b/c she may drop it and I want her to have something easy to use. Then we can start taking photos together.

Chris - I am not surprised you overdid it yesterday but I can't blame you, I would be the same. I'm sure Nancy can attest to how difficult it is to stay put, to rest and not overdo it, especially when you are not sure how much activity will be over-doing it. But today, hopefully yuo will rest more. Glad you don't have to use the crutches all the time.

Felis - I took lots of photos of both Noel and Taz so I will be creating pages soon of them both. Noel is an older cat and really doesn't seem to mind being transported back and forth in the cat carrier bag. I hope computer problems are cleared up now for you.

Nancy - sounds like you are doing well with PT and mobility. Glad to hear it.

Sharon - having your daughter home is wonderful. Mine will probably move in sometime over the next year.

Trudy - glad you got the yard cleaned up. We did a bit here but not finished yet. I think the coming wkend is clear skies so I'll get out in the back and clean up the garden. It's so nice to see the buds on the trees and bushes now.

Ok, gotta get another coffee and get to work. Hope you all have a great day.

Good late morning ladies... I am late getting here, slept until 7:30 and then had a long facetime with Heather and Hunter. Both are feeling better, but still lots of kleenex being used for the runny noses. I hope to hit the pool a bit later on and then I have so much to catch up on here at the O! I had some computer troubles yesterday, so did not get to do what I wanted to in the gallery yesterday. I started working on a new painting yesterday, but I was not happy with the colours and so wiped it clean and will try again sometime today. DH had a union meeting after work, so he did not get home until 8pm. At least they supply supper to them so he did not go hungry. However he missed the Bruins hockey game and he was not too pleased about that. I watched most of it and like Nancy could not believe that they lost!!! :mmph: Oh well I guess it will be a wake up call for them.

Chris - Imagine that... you overdid it?? Naw not you!! LOL Sorry to hear that your tattoo is destroyed  Ugh that is too bad that the incision is much bigger than you though it would be! So sad that your MIL is feeling melancoly, we always think that there is time to say the things we should to each other, even if we are not always close to our family members. I hope that your MIL doesn't feel too sad for long! I have one brother and two sisters that will never talk to each other again and it really makes me angry! Once one of them are gone it is too late and then they will live with regret! But there isn't much I can do to change their minds, it is a rif between them and I am not going to get caught up in the family drama. So I don't pick sides and tell them that they are my siblings and I love each of them. Sure makes it hard for us to have family gatherings though :becky: Take care of yourself today Chris and stay off of that foot today!

Felis - I think that I am in agreement with Nancy about the sports interview! I hope that your evening is not too boring and yes I was up late last night and quickly signed in to the O at around 11pm my time. Then off to bed I went. I will try to remember to import that smiley into the O's smiley gallery at some point today. I have a few other little items to do here also, so will try to remember to do that for you.

Nancy - I could not believe that the Bruins lost that game last night!! They had such a bad third period, but they often do that, think that they have the game sealed and don't bother playing good hockey anymore. Oh well I guess you can't win them all can you?? So happy that you are doing so well with your knee recovery!! It must feel so good to get back to your normal life again! Keep up the great work!

Kay - Nice to be invited out for dinner! However I am sorry that you are still feeling so blue!! I missed playing with the miniO's this month also, they are always so beautiful and I really need to start doing more scrapping!! Hope that you are enjoying the Birthday fun and that it helps you feel better!

Ok I better get my bed made and get to the pool, then back here to catch up a bit. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Nancy , What you say is true, but not valid for this situation. When someone kiss you unwanted you can push him, to slap his face, to make a skandal, not to hide and start complain in social media. These girls uses celebritty men to become a world famous. She was OK with the situation, before the lobby of feminists to start jurge his behaviour. Then she start playing victim, because in nowadays this is better paid than to be seducer. You can't seriously think that all men are rapists? Because of one kiss?! His wife wrote it very well: ''Over the last few days I have been thinking of the last century, when the birth of the sexual revolution made Marilyn Monroe and Madona icons, when the kiss was an act of love, friendship and passion and not a "sexual assault". '' And poor girl, she is the real victim, now she have to ward her unfaithful husband.

Sorry, I realize I'm talking too much about this situation. For which maybe most of you learned from me, but in my country this is really HUGE today.
Will be interesting if the interviewer decide to leads a lawsuit. When country who is so starchy in laws and rules as US hit with East European mentalitet where we think that law is only for cowards and naive, lol. Bloody hell! He have to clear his reputation or will left black spot forever, but if he prove they have backstory with this girl at night club and so, he will lose his marriage. It's not just another celebrity drama. But philosophical situation, to prove you are been seduced, means to prove you aren't been faithful. In both situation you are jerk! And the most stupid thing is that, if this situation has happened here it was going to be left only between the husbands, but now is in every sports media around the world.

OK! I wouldn't talk more for that! Back to our own life!
