Daily Ooo's: Tuesday, March 22

Oops. I am running a bit behind schedule this morning. I woke up to the
news about Brussels and had to read about that, and then I PM'd Vera. I have no idea of what is what in Belgium geography but I know that she lives there. I hope that she and any other O-s in the area are ok. It is all so damn sad.

But to focus on the good, today is going to be sunny and warmer than yesterday. Tomorrow will be even nicer.
I did good cleaning yesterday. The new meds really help and I didn't start getting tremors until almost the end. That is pretty amazing. I will need to see how I do off IV abx for another week or so, but if this keeps in the right direction, I will be able to make an appt to get the line pulled. yay!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I slept funny and my back and hip are all kinked up today. But I should be able to get the knots out.I have to get ready to go food shopping too. That will be tomorrow. I seriously am so confused on what I was going to cook these next few nights and switched things around b/c of the kids' plans that I don't WTH I am cooking or WTH I need to buy.

Scott left me a list of his plans for the week. He is on Spring Break so he and Leah are going to be shuttling back and forth between houses and friends. He is cute. (I love my kids)

Did I tell you that I got the replacement FitBit in and finally set it up? As soon as I got to PA last weekend, the broken one started working again. The time reset, the HR was correct. I told Gary about it and he said that maybe it doesn't work in NJ, kind of like Chris Christie. ound:

For those of you lucky enough to not live in NJ, Chris Christie is our totally MIA bully Governor. He had been out of state more than In State while running for the Rep. primary. Then he drops out, and he is back out of state campaigning for Trump. I think the last I head he was out of NJ 72% of the time.

Anyway, back to FitBit, I finally set up the new one and am wearing both to compare the stats. They look good. It is crazy. So now I have a back up one.

Eep. I am really late, must get going!

Morning! It is so sad again this am with the bombings in Brussels. My heart goes out to all. I had a lovely day. And today should be nice weather wise. Luther and I are getting in our walks. And I am going to brag a bit as we were walking yesterday a mom and her two sons wanted to meat Luther and he was awesome. The little boy put out his hand and all Luther did was lick his hand which I explained was doggie kisses. They loved it. I was so happy as he did not bark or jump. Had a nice dinner with my girlfriend.

Chris that is so crazy about the fitbit working again. I like the analogy to our missing governor.

Morning ladies! Yes such horrible news to wake up to this morning!! How heartbreaking for those caught up in this terrible act!! Such senseless killing!! I really don't understand how anyone could think that this would be what any God would want!! :tape: I will shut up before I start to rant and rave!!

Chris - So glad to hear that your new meds are helping you out! Hooray! I will keep my fingers crossed for you that they continue to do so and you can get that darn picc line removed!! Hope you work your kinks out today also! That is crazy about your fitbit working properly again, I think maybe that ghost in your house is playing with you again!!

Nancy - Awww sweet Luther, he is such a good dog!! How nice that he is so well behaved! Glad you are getting in good walks

and that your weather is getting so nice!!

Rae - Where will you be buying your new house? Will you be staying in B.C.? I hope so, I hate to think of you leaving this beautiful province of ours! Oh well, what will be will be and you will do what is best for you and your family!! I hope that you are enjoying some sun this morning, it looks pretty nice out there so far, but I am sure more rain is on the way!

Well I finished the bottom part of my china hutch last night and all ready to get going on the top. I really can't decide if I should paint the inside a different colour or not. Any suggestions for colour choices ladies?? I could use some help with this and then I will be all done with big job! Anxious to have it finished and get some pics to show you all! Not much on the agenda today, no swimming for me as the pool is crazy with spring break being on out here. I hope everyone has a marvellous day!! :wave:

Good morning, ladies. Had a better sleep, I'm getting used to Beckam's louder snuffling and grumbling talk as he sleeps beside the bed. I'm so used to Taz who is pretty quiet and doesn't wake me up. Beckam is very attached to me now and last night he stood in front of me and barked at Darrell when he came home from work. I told him to back up and then went to greet Darrell and then told Beckam to come say hello. Then he came for a lick and rubbed up against him. Taz just hops all over Beckam when he's in the way LOL. He literally just jumps up, uses Beckam as a springboard and propels himself off him into the direction he wants to go, it's so funny to watch. Beckam stays with me everywhere. He has not left my side other than to go outside to the bathroom. He pretty much ignores Darrell, just every now and then will go over and give him a sniff and maybe a little lick and then its right back to me to lay down beside me or on the couch with me. Last night it was raining so my granddaughter and I took the dogs to the pet store, let them wander around sniffing for about half an hour and got some new treats and larger doggie bags. Then we walked all around the strip mall area so Beckam wasn't always on the grassy wet areas (his skin condition gets worse when he's wet). It was funny to watch him run a bit while Bailey was running with Taz, he tried to follow along but with his old heavy body he wasn't able to run too long. He enjoyed it though and after coming home and eating, he fell asleep for a few hours. Taz is especially needy with us, wanting to be sure he is our top dog LOL. So no scrapping for me at night while Beckam is here. There just isn't time and between the two of them vying for my attention and space, I can't set up the table without them wanting to snuggle up and push it away. So at night we're just watching tv and relaxing. He goes home Thurs at dinnertime so I think Taz is enjoying having him here but will also love to have the house back to normal.

Chris - fingers crossed you continue to do well and get that line pulled. Weird about the fitbit but great that you have a backup now.

Nancy - Sounds like you guys are doing such a great job with Luther!

Trudy - unless something happens with my SIL work-wise, I think we've convinced them to stay in BC, maybe just moving a bit further out in the suburbs (Mission, Maple Ridge, Langley, Abbotsford area). Boris quit his job, he is in his 4th year in refrigeration/electrical, but they are giving him foreman jobs which they aren't supposed to do as he hasn't gotten his final certification and he's asked them not to but they keep giving him those jobs which puts his butt on the line if anything happens. So he left the job, is finishing up his final round of exams and then is fully certified and will be making a really good salary but just has to find the right company. But pretty much we've convinced them that with more job opportunities here, this is the better place. We'll see what happens in the next year.

I was out walking the dogs this morning, the sun was out, and now they are napping so I'm going to get some work done. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Evening everyone - well, it's Wednesday morning here ... but still Tuesday night for many of you. Rae, I saw the photos of Beckham on FB - he's gorgeous!

Can't believe our vacation is going to end soon - it's been a blast. Tonight is our last night here with Mum, so it will be a family dinner (also my birthday ), and then we head to Sydney for a few days before returning to the US over the weekend. I miss my puppy very much, so it will be good to see her again and smother her with smooch kisses.
