Happy Tuesday lOvelies!

How are you all doing today? I slept much better last night so I feel better in that respect. Whew! Stress levels, not so much. I spent most of yesterday commenting in the Gallery and working on an April Challenge while listening to FBI/NSA intelligence committee hearing. OMG. Yes, I am a political junkie and this was staggering. I have thought over the last couple of months (it has *only been two months!*) that this time is history in the making but I didn't quite realize how serious it all is.
And really, what a weird combo- I had the C-SPAN hearing feed running on one monitor and I am scrapping a Spring LO on the other. Gary thinks I am nuts. He is probably correct. Just don't tell him that I said so.

Today I am off to clean for my friend, then I plan to finish up some scrap pages.

What good stuff do you have going on?

Nancy- hahaha!! How funny about your son moving out but running late b/c of video games. LOL
That is so nice of your DH to make a full dinner for you. Mine made up grilled cheese last night and he makes the best-- rosemary and mozz. on round Italian bread. I have to clean the griddle today but at least I didn't have to cook.

Just got off of the phone with my friend and her DS has a stomach bug and will be home from school I am going to clean on Thursday instead.
Guess this means that all of the things I ignore yesterday will get done today. Maybe. I can try.

I get so frustrated by politicians for coming in and cutting stuff so brutally. I am hoping that DT's budget won't pass b/c it will affect Medicaid that both kids are on, our Heating Assistance, and Food Pantries. Not to mention what I will do if they repeal the ACA. I can't think about it too much or I start to flip out a bit. :hurt:
And that is just what affects *me* personally. Pell Grants for the kids... forgot about that one...

*eye roll*

The rats are so cute to play with in the mornings. They are really so very funny with their little whiskers going a mile a minute.
How is your snow situation? we still have so much of it. the only grass I can see is over the septic tank :(

Trudy- keep talking to me about your plants, that gives me faith that I will actually see mine at some point. I hope that all of the plants that you moved and trimmed stay healthy and strong.
The kids went back to school yesterday. Scott's last night at the restaurant is set for tonight but he said that he might go in tomorrow too. Eden Farms was supposed to Open last Friday but that had to hold off b/c of weather. But he has been working like mad over there.
ITA about the wall art challenge- that was a LOT of fun which surprised me a bit. I still want to do the Crazy Portrait. How sad that I have time but not any mojo?

I wish I knew what in the word could be up with your Fonts? Did you look over at the Adobe website for info?

Rae- I hope that your quick pop in means that your computer is working better again.

Sharon-That is too funny about your DD coming over every day. I wouldn't mind that at all.

Rae- how is Jen, all settled in?

Hugs and love!!!!

good morning! It is cloudy but not too cold. Got Luther out early as my DH has a doctor's appointment and we had a great time, he got to play with Magnum, his German Shepherd friend and Loki, his black lab friend. Now he is resting. What a life! I got several pages done yesterday from my trip. The scenery out West is so different from NJ. Watched hockey. Tonight my Devils are playing the cross river rival NY Rangers. It should be a sea of blue in the stands as many Ranger Fans come to our arena as it is so expensive to go to the Garden their home arena. It should be fun to see how my younger players play. My team was supposed to practice yesterday but decided not to practice. Hope that was a good decision.

Chris sorry the cleaning got pushed back but hope it gives you time to get other stuff accomplished. Grilled cheese is also one of my favorite meals. I hope the gardening store opens soon. We are now seeing patches of grass! Yea! Maybe the rain tomorrow will wash it all away.

Trudy hope you got most done on your yard. Amazing that last March you were cutting grass. At least you are able to get out on your hikes during the week.

Rae I can't believe more computer problems. Must be a gremlin in the area!

Sharon my son will be back on the weekends for a dog fix and video games and his friends. Sweet though that your daughter come home every day.

Have a great day all!

Hi all-Yesterday I worked in the yard tackling my massive weed collection!!! I may do some today. I took my dog in for heartworm treatment. Now I must get her kennel ready so she can rest undisturbed.

Chris- glad you slept better. If you are listening to political stuff then you are stressed. I can't deal with that.

Nancy-kids do need the dog fix. DD left home because I got 2 rescue dogs right after our beloved 15 yo black lab died last year. She didn 't want dogs. Now she loves them. lol

Morning all... Well the rain is back although right now it is just a sprinkle. I am going to try to hit the pool today, hopefully not crazy busy with it still being spring break for some kids here in North Cowichan. Got my trimming done in the back yard yesterday while the sun was shining, but still very chilly and soggy out there. Nice to see the little buds on the bushes and my roses have new leaves already. Just saw this morning that we are supposed to have a warmer than normal spring?? When will that happen LOL.

Chris - How on earth can you scrap and listen to all of that political garbarge?? I would be so pissed off I would never be able to get a page done! Scott will be glad to be done at the Restaurant I am sure! Happier doing something that he really likes! I need to do that crazy portrait challenge too , but just can't get my act together LOL. Nice that you have the cute rats to play with! I love their tiny sweet faces and yes those whiskers!! Still no luck figuring out my fuzzy fonts, I continue to google everywhere about it, but have tried all the suggestions and still nothing. :gaah: I know it is probably something very easy and I am just not seeing it! So frustrating!!

Nancy - Yes Luther has a great life!! LOL Nice that you could get out early and he got to play with his friends, such a spoiled dog :pupkiss: Hope he gives you lots of kisses for all that you do for him. Hope that the rain holds off for our hike this week, it is a nearby one with great views of the ocean and Salt Spring Island. Not too strenuous like the past couple have been. I really want to do this one, but not in the pouring rain :rain:
Enjoy your Hockey tonight, Go Devils!!

Sharon - Nice that your DD comes home for her doggy fix! I am sure she does it to visit with her Mom also though!

Rae - Hope your computer woes are all fixed up and things are ready to go also hope your work day won't be too bad!

I have to go DD is calling so see you all later!

Good morning, ladies. Just popping in quickly again today. My work is all caught up...yay...finally. But of course already today one client has sent lots of files over already. But I took some time before starting work this morning to start watching session 3 of Anna's brush class and will watch it off and on throughout the day, taking small breaks from work, to finish it. Then I will be ready for tomorrow's live chat. It's been a great class. I know a lot more about brushes than I did before (and I thought I knew a lot aready LOL).

The rain is back today but I'll need to get Taz out regardless as we didn't go for our walk yesterday and he gets antsy if he doesn't get out enough. We'll go for a walk along the river later. I am going to pop into Winners/Home Sense later and see if they have a muffin top silicone mold, so will know which might be cheaper. I want to make some hot pepper/cheese crisps for snacking and that mold will be perfect to use. Of course, I just purchases a few other things on amazon last week but didn't think of getting that then...ugh.

I'll be checking in again later but will go get some work done now before taking another break to watch Anna's video.

Chris - to answer your question....yes...Jen is all moved in and very happy there.

Have a great day, everyone.
