DONE!!!! So so soooooooo done!!!!!
I went to bed last night and for the most part, the forecast was saying it could either snow or rain or maybe do not much of anything up in North Jersey. South Jersey was supposed to get the worst of the rain. This morning, I wake up to weather alerts and Winter Storm Warnings for tonight until Thursday morning. 4-8", maybe 6"-12" of snow. This is BS!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is the first day of Spring. How awesome.

*curls into fetal position and hides under my Linus blanket*

I went food shopping yesterday and I am glad that I did with the weather forecast. I don't want to have to fight the crowds to get the last loaf of bread and gallon of milk. :fencing: I also went to the library and got my blood drawn and bought stamps at the supermarket so I didn't have to stop at the Post Office. All good things and now I don't need to really go anywhere today.

OTOH- my family is going to be really aggravated at me as I grumble my way through the day about the snow. Scott will be extremely happy and relieved that he has classes all day and won't have to witness it.

In addition to the errands, I finished and filed my taxes and Scott's. Whew! Now I have to finish Cait's today. We worked on his Financial Aid Additional Info paperwork. It stinks that I have no income, that always messes up forms. I have a copy of my county's Zero Income Statement that I print, cross out the irrelevant info, sign, and date.

I hope that I can just hang out at the party today. That would be a lot more fun than grumbling at the weather. :D

Have a lovely day!!!!

Nancy- how neat to hear about DH's grandfather and the Cubs. Imagine how different life would have been if he hadn't made the decision to choose the woman he loved. Gary's grandfather was recruited to be in the Our Gang for The Little Rascals. His mom said he wasn't allowed, that schooling was more important. And such is life
Good for the team to do so well on the road trip.

That is so bizarre about the poster images. All I could see what a greyed-out box where the image should be.
I finished the Lo and it is in the Gallery #NeverAgain
The other thing that I did was email my local newspaper with the information about the March. The group that is "hosting" it has done nothing about it outside of Facebook so I contacted the editor and suggested that it would be great if there was something in the paper. I really wish I had it in me to go to one of the bigger marches but at least I feel like I will be doing something even if it is small and cheesy.

Trudy- how cute that you are excited about the laundry room. I am happy for you too. However, I don't understand ironing sheets and pillowcases but that might be in reaction to my mom who always irons *everything.* I don't touch my iron. Unless it falls off of the shelf it sits on. hahaha!!

Jean- We still have so much snow on the ground although the area over my septic is melted
*fingers crossed for Ohio State*

Felis- I am sticking my fingers in my ears :lalala:I can't even think about plants and gardens and all that stuff. It makes me so sad. But hopefully, your weather will warm up soon and you can get the roses in the ground.

Hope everyone is enjoying the party so far!

Hello ladies,
and happy astronomical Spring!

 Did you see today's challenge! It puts me a whole in tears! One no malicious note to nbk team on this world have people who can't pay monthly bill for PS. Gosh, they thinks they very special with their expensive toys and private groups. I'll struggle with this but have to come back with something excellent!

I waked up in white world this morning. It's looks pretty, and melt so fast. This time snow wasn't expected and I could hear tulips to cry under blanket. Hope this to not damaged them!

I got so much fun at the O party this morning and now I'm not blue but green :rollpin:
The other personal notes are in my yesterday post, because I came last. :D

Chris, I'm proud with you so much task are checked from your To Do List, keep going girl! And keep your head up, this is the last snow for this winter! Hope kids to not have problems drive back to home at these roads!

Morning ladies... as usual I did not get back here to finish off personals yesterday, but I did have fun going through the gallery and forums and wow the gallery is full of beauty!! I hope to hit the pool today and thursday, because I won't be able to go next week with the grandkids being here. I am trying to find something fun for us to do while they are here. I was thinking that maybe one day we could go horseback riding, I think that there is a place for trail rides not far from here. Or maybe I will see what the cost is for the zip line place that isn't too far from here either. Its a challange for me to keep their faces away from the TV or any kind of a screen LOL. Our son txt me last night saying that he thinks he has sold his boat, he is very, very sad  but it will be better than trying to move it out to Ontario in the summer. He loves that sailboat!! I feel bad for him, but I am sure he will find another.
I had a really nice long chat with Heather and Hunter yesterday, Hunter is feeling better and his bowels are finally moving again, so he is a very happy baby!! LOL. Jonah's auntie came and babysat on Sunday while Heather and Jonah and Mason went to Mason's first time at the Movie theatre. They say Peter Rabbit and Heather said that he was laughing and had a wonderful time! It got to be a bit long for him though and he started to get Antsy toward the last 1/2 hour. Hunter slept for the most part for his Auntie and so she cleaned the house for them. What a great babysitter!!! :becky:

Chris - UGH!! More :smow: REALLY!!! It isn't fair!! It's supposed to be Spring today!! Well at least you got your shopping and other errands done yesterday, there is that! I hope you enjoy a quiet day having fun here at the O instead of looking out the window and wishing the snow away! LOL yes I iron my sheets, but it is because I love the way they feel when I crawl into bed after changing them. I find ironing very relaxing, crazy I know!! My Heather is the same as you, but I don't think she actually even owns an iron LOL. I saw your layout about the March, its fabulous!!

Felis - Oh dear I saw in the forum that there are a few ladies who can't use these styles in their programs. I wonder if you PM the designer or Anika, if they will get something else for you to use instead. Just a suggestion. I hope that you will have fun at the Party anyway!

Nancy - I hope you and Luther are having a great morning!

Jean - Hope that you did not get more snow too! Nice to hear that your hubby got to go to hum and strum, they must have a great time together! Loved your layout for the first challenge here at the party, now how did I know it would have a bird of some kind on it LOL. You sound as excited as my DH about getting your taxes done :becky: It is even worse when you know that you will have to pay!! I am not looking forward to the complaining :rollpin:

:hello: Rae, thinking of you and sending love and good vibes your way!

Ok I am getting my coffee and off to the gallery I go, then will look at this challenge 2 problem and see if there is a solution of some kind. Maybe felis will come up with a plan too. I hope you all have a great day!

good morning I am late in posting because I wanted to get Luther out for a walk and my errands done before the 4th nor'easter hits. This time my area in Jersey is to get between 9-12 inches. WOW on the first day of spring. I love the birthday party but I am bad at party challenges and I love the gallery. But I am going to rant right now. I am one of the old folks who believe in following the rules. So last night I was watching the Boston Bruins play the Columbus Blue Jackets. I was hoping Boston would win as that would help my Devils. It was a good game and went to OT. But in OT twice the Bruins had break aways and the players was blatantly held right in front of a ref and twice no penalty was called. The announcers both said well if this was Dec there would be a penalty. There is no where in the rule book that says a penalty in Dec is not a penalty in Mar. So that allowed OT to continue and CBJ won. The refs are to rule the game not to decide who wins or loses. It would not be so bad but their decisions have effects far from just that game. If my team loses by a point making the play offs I will look back on this game. It was funny as I tweeted about it and wow some liked and of course some did not. Those that did not thought I was a Bruins and Marchand fan. LOL. I am a fan of correctness. Marchand is about my least favorite player but damn if they don't call a penalty on a player who is hold him him how can you ever trust that the refs will make the correct call for your team. OH enough of my rant. Yesterday I found out that is was my DH's grandmother's birthday and the family in CO always send out a photo of the person they are celebrating. I sent them the two photos I have and they were so happy. That made me feel so good. Also fun to receive new old photos.

Chris what are we going to do with more snow. Really it does have to stop. But I guess maybe we won't be in any drought situations this summer. Glad you got your shopping and errands done yesterday! Makes today and tomorrow easier to get through. My DH is not sure what his school is going to do since last time there was not that much in Brooklyn. Good luck!

Trudy so glad that you can get back into the pool. I loved zip lining. I won't do it now but boy was it fun when I was younger and as long as all the safety lines are in place. You are going to have such fun with them and boy will you be busy.

Felis that is too bad about the challenge. I am sure if you let them know they will find a work around. Good luck.

Jean glad you are getting your taxes done! That is awesome! I love that your DH has his Hum and Strum group. That is so so cool! Tonight one of our local birders is having a woodcock listening fest. I am excited but I fear it is being canceled due to storm. Would have been fun!

Rae thinking of you! Sending hugs!

Have a great day all!

We have another sunny day that's not too cold and I don't think we have much accumulation forecast for tonight, but that is only a maybe. But nothing like NJ! Yesterday I did a very little birding but it was very cold out in the wind. I was enjoying the party until I saw the day 2 challenge. I'm sure something will be figured out, but styles are not something in PaintShop Pro (which I have used in some version since before PSE even existed, just the very pricey PS) and I have no concept of how they are even supposed to work.

Felis, so nice you had shopping success and decent weather before getting more snow. I'm sure the tulips will survive, but the blooms probably wilted. At least that's what happens to daffodils here that often get snow while they bloom (haven't bloomed yet this year). Look forward to seeing your new roses grow. I agree with your little rant. I don't use PhotoShop and don't do FaceBook, so I'm totally out of it for styles, PS tutorials and FB groups. Well, the tuts often have useful ideas even though I have to adapt them. Hope you get real spring weather soon!

Chris, stop looking out the window and listening to weather forecasts! Immediately! Enjoy the party today and deal with the snow after it gets there. You got a lot done two days in a row and will be all set. Pat yourself on the back and enjoy the now. Please? :tape:

Trudy, isn't the gallery fun! Party time is always so nice. Also nice will be having the grands there. Riding and zip lining both sound super for them. And wow, is Mason growing up. Wonderful about the aunt babysitting and cleaning too. Then Hunter being just fine. I'm sure ironing the sheets makes them feel good but I can't imagine doing it. Good for you though.

Nancy, being an advocate of rules doesn't seem to be in favor these days. Officials are always accused of bias based on expectations that are probably real but you are describing situational bias that may also be true. Good luck with the snow! At least Luther will enjoy it.

 Rae
