Happy St Patrick's Day! *throws lucky gold coins to everyone!!*
I hope all of you are having a fine top o the morning! We don't really celebrate this, but I do make a mean corned beef in the crock pot. My family doesn't eat red meat at all, but we make an exception for this. And I have to brag- I have had corned beef cooked by Irish people, and mine is better. (shush, don't tell anyone I said that :gossip: )
Yesterday I finished my taxes. I haven't submitted them yet, because I want to go over everything with a (semi) cleared mind before I do.
Gary asked me this morning if he could get me anything, and I said "A working brain, please. We could even share one, since that is better than we both have now. Just do NOT get one that says Abby Normal." ound:
(Young Frankenstein reference if you have never seen it)
Taxes done- check
Food shopping list started- check
Scrapped a page- check!!!
Today we are to our LLMD. I hope that she can help either of us... One can always hope!!!
Then to finally get my car inspected- it was due last month but it is 45 min's from here but only 15 mins from Dr's office so it is not too far out of the way. Hopefully Gary's stomach can hold out long enough to do that.
We also spoke to the Lyme disease documentary filmmaker and he will be coming on Thursday to get photos/video.
I have to get rolling- shower, then get dinner in the crock pot.
Hope that you all have a wonderful day!
QOTD DO you celebrate St P's Day in any way? Do you like corned beef, or other tradition Irish foods? Dress in green?
