Another day of our Oscraps Birthday Party! Is everyone having fun so far? I know I am! Lots!!!!

Caitlyn (my DD) was home sick from school yesterday, so she joined up for Tali's chat. She even won two trivia prizes- she was so excited! Cute to have some mother daughter chatters- Diane and Maya (Madi/madigirl) were there too. We were sad that Sally and Cora were busy. Maybe today! I was really excited to see lots of new names- and if any of those new names are reading htis--please post so we can give ya a big O-Welcome!

The Blog Train has gotten back on the tracks and is zipping along. And I *think* I spotted the Birthday O'Fairy hiding some scavenger hunt clues!

And now for the Ooo's!

Good news, I did not pass out in Shop Rite yesterday. I was keeping my eyes open if there happpened to be a cutie around, but nope- pretty much moms and old men LOL!
And more good news- Scott (DS) got a 90!!! on his SS quiz- that was the subject he was failing, and is working really hard to get his grade up. Yay Scott!
As for me, I had one heck of an emotional day. Man, Lyme screws up your hormones, plus I am PMS-y (for like, 2 weeks!!!!) and I think I am hitting perimenopause. Ye gads! It was one of those days where it took nothing to make me want to cry. I thought of Sally and her closet! I ended up going up to Gary and cried on his shoulder for a bit. I did feel slightly better getting some of it out.

But it was great being at the chat and seeing all of the wonderful LO's in the gallery. I LOVE this place!

Hi Sandra- tell Gabe we all said Happy Birthday!!

Sorry to have missed you all last night, but it was simply TOO beautiful yesterday to be inside. We had 69 degrees and sunny! WooHoo! It was so nice to have a spring like day after a dreary winter. Today will be nice as well.
The chat on Sunday was too much fun, not sure when I can make another one? Have to check the schedule again.
Contests went well yesterday, still waiting on all of the results but the kids all felt good about what they did. That's usually a good sign.

LindaP-that's how I feel about work right now , too gorgeous to be in that building with no open windows ! If I was home tho I'd be in here as much as possible...until DH drags me off on the bike that is.

Girls I'll try and catch up better tonight....busy at work, running between 2 docs this week, 3 girls out so far, one for a death in family and 2 just sick.

Hey ladies! Chris's fabulous chat is starting in 8 minutes!!! WOOOT!!!

Quickie from me. Developed a migraine last night. So bummed about that. It's the first one I've had in about 2 months, which is a long time in between for me! The boys are ganging up on me this morning - milk everywhere and a Cheerio fight.

It will be another gorgeous day here, will take the kids on a walk after nap this afternoon I think. So happy to see this weather!

Good morning O ladies!!

So, my friend is going home today. When I brought him home from the doctor it took everything he had to get to bed after taking valium and the ride home...I am very happy he didn't decide he had to vomit on the way home. What is amazing though is that once he woke up he could see. He could read things and do things that he hasn't been able to do because his eyes are so bad. I was very happy for him. Plus he made it so that my wii is connected to the internet so that we can play against other people. He's a bit of a computer guru!!

So...

Chris - I am bummed to have missed you and Caitlin at the chat. I think it may have to do something with the filters at work but I will play with it this morning and see if I can figure it out if I get to work a few minutes early so that I can join in this morning. I hope to see you. I really hate those days when I just need to cry because there never seems to be a situation where I can just sit and cry. That's too bad that there were no hotties at the store. That could have been fun. Oh, and a goeyduck is a clam...a huge clam that they make clam chowder out of. A trivia question I won on Sunday.

Linda - yay for good weather. Hopefully we'll get some soon. I was looking at the 5 day weather forcast and there was a day with sun, clouds, rain and snow. It has been one crazy weather year, for sure. I hope all of the kids did great.

Sandra - Yay for quiet time. I loved your layout from yesterday.

Dawn - I hope you don't get worked too hard. The sick season is so hard on everybody.

ME - I haven't seen about your dad. I'll have to go back and see whats going on. You are in my prayers.

Well today is a absolutely do nothing day! I decided other then a load of laundry that I am on strike since I haven't been feeling well. Nick and & I might go get Rita's Water Ice for St. Patty's Day and that's about it!

O happy day!!! THe sun is out and I am enjoying EVERY second of it !!!! We went to see my Grandma today it was a nice visit. The girls love to go to her apartment but she lives about an hour away so it usually take half a day between the drive and the visit. Now my little chicklets are in their beds, I don't really care if they are asleep because I am going to take a nap and as long as they stay in bed I am a happy Mama. I work tonight, thankfully only until 10pm at the clinic instead of the ER, fewer St. Paddy's drunks . We are going to enjoy the rest of the warm day once naps are over. My flower beds are in need of some love and I need to start getting my veggi garden ready. It was a big pile of mulched leaves right now, Sadie thinks its her personal play area she was a total MESS yesterday covered in little leaf bits.

My Dr. appt went good yesterday, as I susupected my jelly bean habit did mess up my glucola results they weren't abnormal just the high side of normal, that with the 5 lb wt gain (usually not a big deal but when you consider that in 4 weeks I gained 1/3 of my total wt gain) I was told to lay off the beans...Oh the sacrafices I make for this baby .

Ok I am off to the gallery for a bit before my nap!

HI girls!!

Glad everyone is having a great day. I just got Nico down for a nap and now Im just catching up on some stuff.

Took a ride with my mother in law and the baby up to the Playscape place to look around. Turned out they were closed! SO we got to look at the models, we just weren't able to talk to anyone about purchasing. So...supposed to go back on Saturday. So well see!

I joined yesterday's afternoon chat, but Nico woke up from his nap in the middle, so I had to go.

I haven't had time to do any of the chat / challenge layouts, I just haven't had enough time to get something done in time to post when they have been due! Hopefully at some point this week.

A very quick hello from me. My dad's kidney surgery is tomorrow am. Will be heading to PA in the am to be there. Christian has tonsilitis - which explains the coughing, snoring, and fever. Poor little fellow. It's been a heck of a week, and it's only Tuesday!

Hope you are all doing well, and enjoying the birthday festivities. The challenges have been awesome - hope to party with you all later in the week.
