Woo hoo!! Only 8 more days!
At noon today, we will officially be halfway through March. That sounds pretty darn good to me. The sun was out all day yesterday and when I took the dogs out around dinner time, there was still a lot of snow on the lawn. I was gobsmacked when I took them out this morning and most of it is melted. Now we just need some sunny days to dry everything out.
I was able to get quite a bit done around the house, including Cait's taxes. I am not finished with them but if we don't claim her as a dependent, her tax bill goes waaaaaay down. I have to research a bit to make sure it is "legal" -- not the right word but YKWIM? It has to be on the up-and-up, I don't want any problems with the IRS so I want to make sure there are no mistakes with any of it.
But whew, that will be a relief when I get them all signed and submitted.
I am off to the supermarket today and since you all know how I feel about "people" I want to get there early. I don't mind people, generally speaking, I just don't want to be stuck behind them and their carts in the store.
Other than that, I have two s**** jobs to do today. One is literal: Scooping the lawn since the snow is melted. hehe The other is to contact the state one last time. I found an additional email/dept that I have not contacted yet and will see if they have any idea where my application is and how to get it pushed through. Even if the app is denied, I would like to know that. I can probably push off paying the electric bill one more day. *bangs head against the wall* Why is it so difficult this year? Never had trouble like this before.
Wish me luck at the store!
xoxo
