Happy pi day!
My question for you, what is your favorite kind of pie? Pizza for me LOL Dessert pies- homemade apple, pumpkin, anything with chocolate and nuts. And whipped cream. Darn, I am hungry now!
I am sitting here watching the snow fall and the wind starting to whip. What an utterly ridiculous thing: A blizzard in March. Really?? The news is comparing it to the Blizzard of 1993 - also in March. That was the day after we buried my Grandma. I spent the weekend at Gary's house, this was 2 months before we were married. My goodness, that was horrible- we thought my grandma was doing ok enough to make it to my wedding. It was so close and then she was gone. She was buried in the dress that she wore to my cousin's wedding the year before and was going to wear to mine and we had a corsage pinned to her dress. I was *hysterical.* I adore my grandma. (This is my mom's mom. My dad's mom was the one who didn't like me.) She is still such a big part of my life.
Well, anyway...
That's a trip going down memory lane, eh?
I hope that Nancy is still in AZ. My SIL is in San Fransisco for the week on business and I am terribly jealous of anyone who is dealing with this.:bounce:
The weekend at my mom's house was nice. Scott and Leah are so cute (I know I say it all of the time) and I love spending time with Caitlyn. (ditto)
we played some board games, snuggled with the dogs, and watched movies and yes, I drank wine in front of the fire.:fireplace:
(thank you, Trudy!!!!!!!!!!!)
Today is going to be shoveling-- a lot. The snowblower has a leak in the gas line but Gary's thinks that he has it rigged up so we can use it is small bits.
I also made the prerequisite egg salad and banana bread :hungry:
Have a great day!
