Good morning my O-Fam!
How is everyone today? I am a bit sore and achy- but I feel like I got a lot done yesterday. I pulled a Sally.
I steam cleaned all of my carpets downstairs, LR, DR, hallway,my "office" and my BR. 3 times- one with cleaner, one plain water rinse, and one with water and rosemary and lemon essential oils mixed in. Mmm! The house smells so clean! and *knocks wood* so far, so good- none of the animals have peed/puked on it.....yet....
Then I went upstairs and worked on Scott's room. How can boys be so dang messy? I was going to steam clean his room, but after cleaning up the crap and vacuuming, I decided to put it off to today. I took a break, had lunch and then did yard work for a couple of hours. Came in, and had to work on MIL's website. Then dinner, helped Scott study for Social Studies, then a glass of wine and the season finale of Vamp. Diaries.
Today I have to go food shopping, a ton of phone calls to find out about the kids' health insurance status- (no, they still do not have health ins! Now is it since May1!) plus get a credible coverage cert. for me....steam clean Scott's carpet and then he has a drs appt at 4 pm.
Busy busy!
Oh one last thing-- does anyone know how to make photos into thumbnails in Dreamweaver? I used a "web" compression on the jpgs and they look really poor. I want to have the page (image heavy) load quickly, but want to be able to show off the details of the tote. My MIL designed e-reader Tote patterns and they are really neat.
Tip for Tues. When you steam clean your carpets, if you do a rinse with water, you can add essential oils to the "final rinse" I picked lemon and rosemary because they are bright and cheery and energizing. But for a bedroom you might want to pick relaxing- like lavender or romantic like ylang ylang. Rosemary is also good for memory so that would be great for an office or den
