Happy tuesday, hope that you all survived your Monday very happily. I am happy that the hot weather is back. This past weekend, it was freezing and this week- back to the upper 80's and low 90's! Wheeee! I wish that the lake was open during the week. It goes FT at the end of June after school lets out. But how nice would it be to go and hang out with a book all by myself?

After I go food shopping I am heading outside to gather rocks. When they dug the septic up, they piled the rocks to one side. Our soil up here is more rock that dirt. But now I can use all of the rocks to edge my gardens and all.

tip on Tuesday: Do NOT let your DD and 4 friends bring a bag of Oreos into her room. At some point, you will find one stuck to the ceiling and 5 kids will look at you and say they don't know how it got there.

hahaha! Yes, I do love having the kids at my house, however, see my above Tip for Tuesday what it is not always a good idea LOL
Hope that you can get some gardening and scrapping done today- that would make the day perfect!

I re-scrapped it at 5x7 and got a really nice frame. He kept turning it the wrong way and looked at it like Huh?? its a hand.
My SIL looked at it and said what a great photo, so talented..... he just looked at it quizzically. I guess he is more of a snapshot kind of guy :photo:

I am here- need to get on the treadmill, but did not want to leave you all alone! Another day of work and 90's- so being inside all day will be okay.

Today feels much better. Yesterday I just wanted to cry. I don't generally feel like that but yesterday was just yucky. Today will be better though. It will start at a decent time today which is nice (I do loooooove my sleep and don't get up and moving very well). I am meeting some ladies from my church group at Chick-fil-a. Uh oh....I think I need to run. Ihear Addie and she just went outside. Eeeeeeek! I'll come back later.

Oh, I hear her on the porch. She's yelling at Ethan at his bus stop that he is not a grown up. I have to remind him of that A LOT!!! He is quite the bossy big brother and so sensitive about everything.

So, since she is not causing trouble I can stay here for a minute.

Chris - thanks for the hugs. Greatly appreciated. I sooooooo wish I enjoyed doing gardening and stuff. Very cool that you now have all of your rocks. For the bargain price of $2000. Hahaha!! I am glad you were able to get your septic fixed at a price that found reasonable. Oreos on the ceiling? Are you sure Addie didn't come visit?

Laurie - Can you bottle up some of your motivation for the treadmill and send it to me? I could use some of that. Enjoy your day. Hugs!!
 
Good moring all of my "O" friends!! Its :rain: here today, I must have sent all the nice weather to Chris, oh well Chris you deserve some sunshine :kiss:. I am off work today and looking forward to getting some scrapping time in today! I actually got a layout done for the Designers Challenge. Horray, it has been so long since I scrapped anything! Other than that I don't have too much planned for today, perhaps a quick trip to the grocery store to pick up a few things. Should do a walk on the treadmill and get lifting some weights too.

Chris - I love your photo and layout that you did for your brother! Chezzz guys just don't understand great art!! My hubby always wonders why I like to take pics of people walking away, but they are my favs, he doesn't get it....Men!!! Love your cookie on the ceiling incident! You should have taken a picture and scrapped it LOL!!

Laurie - Sounds warm where you are, is it humid too?? I don't do humid very well. Hope your day at work is nice and cool!!

Hey Trudy!! I haven't seen you here in FOREVER it seems like. I was gone and when I got back you were gone. I sure hope it stops raining there by July since your weather will be my weather when I get back to Washington. Enjoy your day off.
 
Everytime I see this post I have to get in here now!! LOL!!

I just got a new phone and I am super excited about it. I've been waiting for awhile to be eligible and although there are 8 days until my upgrade they let me do it anyway since my phone broke. The call button just stopped working. Now I need to get a cover for my phone soon.
 
I'm here...your grumpiness could never scare me off Miss Chris! :-) Still feeling like I'm insane most days...but guess that insanity might not be that bad. :-)

We've had a heat wave the last couple of days...mid to upper 90's. On Thursday, they are predicting 60 for a high. Come on...I know we have crazy weather...but that's a little too crazy for me.

Shaun had a baseball game tonight. Sydney and I spent most of the rest of the evening with Mom so that Dad could go to my nephew's baseball game. They are chasing the most consecutive wins in Iowa High School baseball history. They have 56 wins as of tonight and the record is 59. If they keep winning they can tie it on Monday night and beat it on Tuesday night. So we will all be there (including Mom) if Tuesday is the big night!
