*grumbles some more about the weather* I am done with this! I need the sun. Can I throw a temper tantrum today? Of course, I can, considering DT throws temper tantrums all of the time. If it is ok for him to do that, I can too. So there.
:pout:

I am not very good at throwing temper tantrums, at least not anymore. It takes waaay more energy than I have. *grins*

I was able to clean out the kitchen cabinets yesterday, tossed some boxes of soggy crackers. There wasn't much else for me to throw out. And I didn't have much success coming up with dinner ideas. Hmmph. I think that the lure of Blue Apron for me isn't so much the part of having the food prepped/sent, but not having to *decide* what to make. I know, I complain about this every darn week, don't I? :frusty:

What else did I do? For Me Me Monday, I played with the dogs a little bit, then Ray decided that she wanted in and J prefers playing with her sister than me. I did watch Caitlyn paint with her rats. Yes. She literally painted with her rats. There was some contest going on Instagram for Pride Month and she had already wanted to paint with them so she combined the activities. She put the colors of the rainbow of paint on some plastic, then dipped their feet in it (it was all non-toxic and washable) and let them run on the paper. She is their "home base" when they are unsure of something, so the girls would get their feet put in the paint, then run straight on to her. Over and over again. Then they needed a bath and OMG they looked so funny wet! I warmed up some towels in the dryer so they could nest in them while they dried.

I have to see if I can get to her pictures. Our home network is all sorts of messed up and I can't see anyone else's shared folders anymore. They can see me, but I can't see them.

So that is it, another dull day for me. Food shopping and then moping around? I hope that I can not do that. I would much rather scrap. I did try to scrap a bit yesterday but it hurt my back so much that I ended up vacuuming and them baking a batch of sweet potato and oatmeal dog treats to get "unstiffened." This damp weather is not good for my bones and joints, as I am sure that you ladies understand.

Tip on Tuesday:
Are you signed up at CreativeMarket.com? Every Monday they have 6 freebies- brushes/actions/fonts/graphics/etc. I have gotten some really nice fonts and textures from them.

Have a nice day-- send sunshine to Nancy and me, please!!!!!

Nancy- that is great that the rain held off all day so you and your hubs could get so much done. The Greekfest must have been so yummy and WTG for getting the leftovers at a discount. I love spanikopita. :hungry:
What a great way to personalize your photos right on your iPad. Very smart!

Sharon- Is your back any better today? I hope so for you and your puppies sakes. Does your Dr have any other ideas of what you can do to feel better?

Trudy- how nice to hear that you and DH work together so well. Unfortunately, I think thatI have gotten to a point where I am so used to doing things on my own that I have a hard time shifting to working with other people. I loved seeing the stones for your sister's cats when you posted them before, how nice of you to freshen them up for her.
Happy birthday to Mason! 4 years old, it flies!!!
I bet you will be very happy when your son doesn't have to travel as much too. BFFATS's daughter just got home from a 3-week school trip (she goes to U Mass and they have a great hospitality degree program) through UK, France, and Italy. I wish I had the opportunity to go travel the world as well.

Rae- good to hear that you are slowly feeling better. I am horrible when I am sick too. so I understand your frustration all too well. Hope today gets you even closer to being yourself again.
Lysol wipes are the best way to clean when you aren't feeling up to doing the whole bit- hope that you got everything done that you wanted. Glad to hear that Bailey is going to be so close to you too. Hopefully, she won't need you but will be able to visit if she does.

Morning O family... it is going to be a beautiful sunny day today.

Chris and Nancy. I don't have much to do today, so I hope to get a couple of pages done. Other than that I thought I might start to cook a few casseroles for DH to have in the freezer while I am away in Ontario. He is pretty great about taking care of himself with meals etc. But I know how hard he works and I thought that it might be nice to have something quick and easy every once in a while. Yesterday was very nice as I got to sit outside in a beautiful setting while painting the rocks for my sister. We chatted and had lunch together and her granddaughter painted some little rocks with me. She had a bit of a cold so my sister kept her home from school for the day. Later I stopped at the grocery store and picked up some zuccinni and used my new spiralizer to make zoodles with a creamy chicken alfredo type sauce with mushrooms and it was so good!! :hungry: DH says its a keeper, so we will be enjoying that one again and again!!

Chris - Oh my gosh when are you ever going to get some sunshine and warmth?? It is so not fair that you are not able to be outside soaking up the heat and enjoying the outdoors! I would be very grumpy also, it is really amazing what a bit of sunshine can do to make you feel better and stop the aching in your bones. I am praying to the sun gods for you and Nancy!! Yes I will be glad when my son stops jet setting around LOL. He should be home with his family, but it was the opportunity of a lifetime for him and I am glad that he did not pass it up. I think that he will be glad to have his feet back on the ground for a while at least. This could be the last summer here on the island for them and then another transfer to some other spot for the military. Who knows where?? I hope that your back is feeling better soon and that you get to do something fun today!

Good morning, ladies. I had a pretty good sleep last night and feel a bit better this morning. I hope this means I'll be back to normal soon. The sun is shining and its going to be a beautiful day so I'll work hard this morning and then get out for a walk with Taz later this afternoon and he can go for a swim. I still don't have much energy so after dinner I've been relaxing, watching TV, no scrapping, not online much. We watched the first episode of The Preacher last night (AMC show) and love it. It won't be for everyone, it's about a flawed preacher and a vampire. It kind of reminds me of True Blood with the quirky humor and little subtle bits of humor. So tonight we'll watch a few more episodes.

I am getting a bit tired of eggs for lunch so am going to check out pinterest for some ideas and maybe a few freezer recipes I can make for quick lunches/dinner.

Chris - hope your weather changes, I know how wet cold weather affects your mood, it does to me too. Everything always seems a little happier when the sun comes out. That is so cute about the rats. You should do a page about it.

Trudy - sounds like a lovely day yesterday, painting the rocks and enjoying the gorgeous weather. How exciting that your trip is coming up. Looks like our meetup is going to be at the end of the summer probably. Between me being sick and Darrell still recovering, we won't be doing any traveling for a bit. Isn't that the way things go, eh? I had every intention of getting to the island at the end of May but life had other plans LOL.

Sharon - glad your back is a bit better. Hope it continues to improve.

I'm getting to work now. Have a great day, everyone.
