*grumbles some more about the weather* I am done with this! I need the sun. Can I throw a temper tantrum today? Of course, I can, considering DT throws temper tantrums all of the time. If it is ok for him to do that, I can too. So there.
out:
I am not very good at throwing temper tantrums, at least not anymore. It takes waaay more energy than I have. *grins*
I was able to clean out the kitchen cabinets yesterday, tossed some boxes of soggy crackers. There wasn't much else for me to throw out. And I didn't have much success coming up with dinner ideas. Hmmph. I think that the lure of Blue Apron for me isn't so much the part of having the food prepped/sent, but not having to *decide* what to make. I know, I complain about this every darn week, don't I? :frusty:
What else did I do? For Me Me Monday, I played with the dogs a little bit, then Ray decided that she wanted in and J prefers playing with her sister than me. I did watch Caitlyn paint with her rats. Yes. She literally painted with her rats. There was some contest going on Instagram for Pride Month and she had already wanted to paint with them so she combined the activities. She put the colors of the rainbow of paint on some plastic, then dipped their feet in it (it was all non-toxic and washable) and let them run on the paper. She is their "home base" when they are unsure of something, so the girls would get their feet put in the paint, then run straight on to her. Over and over again. Then they needed a bath and OMG they looked so funny wet! I warmed up some towels in the dryer so they could nest in them while they dried.
I have to see if I can get to her pictures. Our home network is all sorts of messed up and I can't see anyone else's shared folders anymore. They can see me, but I can't see them.
So that is it, another dull day for me. Food shopping and then moping around? I hope that I can not do that. I would much rather scrap. I did try to scrap a bit yesterday but it hurt my back so much that I ended up vacuuming and them baking a batch of sweet potato and oatmeal dog treats to get "unstiffened." This damp weather is not good for my bones and joints, as I am sure that you ladies understand.
Tip on Tuesday:
Are you signed up at CreativeMarket.com? Every Monday they have 6 freebies- brushes/actions/fonts/graphics/etc. I have gotten some really nice fonts and textures from them.
Have a nice day-- send sunshine to Nancy and me, please!!!!!
