Guess what I am doing today? My mom and I are heading down the shore to Belmar.

When she was a child, her family had a summer home a few blocks away from the ocean. (jealous!!). She loves to tell "Belmar Stories" (over and over again). She and my dad go down a few times every year but I haven't been down with her. I suggested that we spend the day together and she was thrilled. The new Boardwalk opened up last week, so it will be her first time since after Sandy destroyed it. How fun to be able to put places and streets to her stories?
Looks to be a gorgeous day here and I cannot wait to see the ocean again!!! I cannot describe how hard it it to be so close but yet so far

Any good stuff today for all of you?

Laurie- how did your son make out at the new job? Will he be moving back out again? Much luck to all of you.
What did you end up doing last night? I would have just gone to bed! LOL

Linda S- I know, summer vaca is just not the same when there is no vaca for us! hahah! Hope that the kids have a great one though.

Gold Star for you Nancy Bet your son was very happy to have the raincoat, it poured and poured here yesterday. I had to do the Gold Star for Cait too-- she wasn;t feeling well again, and I am nervous about how many absences she has. So I had to get notes from her Lyme dr and speak to the school nurse about her attendance and all that. Would have been easier to tell her to suck it up, but I know how hard that can be.

Trudy- ugh!!! Come on Baby, we want to meet you!!!! FWIW- I was induced with Cait and had a much faster/easier labor then with Scott (2 1/2 hours). Of course I had Pre-term labor and was already 5 cm dilated from that which is why they induced me early, they didn't want me to have a roadside baby since I am so far from the hospital
I hope that she has this baby soon for everyone's sake. How is Heather holding up, besides feeling cranky and fat and impatient?? LOL

Hi Sally!!!! Your kids are growing up way too fast! Zambia-- what a fab experience that will be!

Laurie- how far is Indiana from where you are? Sounds like a neat job!

Morning O fam - my son is about 2-3 hours away. I guess from his facebook post he was amazed at how many stars are out early in the am- of course being out in the middle of nowhere-without city lights there are lots of stars to be seen! Workout done, another day of work ahead. I am embracing change! I need to mow my garden area tonight. Off to shower and water plants before work. I hope to work on layouts tonight- too tired after work and 1.5 hours of lawn mowing last night!!

Good morning and what a beautiful morning it is today in NJ - bright blue skies and low humidity with temps in the 70s. From spring to summer and now fall all in a week LOL. Off to the dentist this morning. My least favorite thing to do even though I know it is a must and oh the teeth feel so good when done. Got in a good walk with my girlfriend.

Chris Belmar today will be perfect! Have a great time and take your and enjoy the sites.

Phylis and Trudy I must say I never expected the Bruins/Pens Conference Finals to be this one sided. Bruins look so confident!

Laurie my son too when he started working again was and maybe still is surprised how tired he is at the end of the day LOL.

Trudy I hope to hear about a baby soon!

Hey ladies... well it finally happened!!! Little Mason Jaxson was born this morning at 6:50am and everyone is doing great!! Heather had a bit of hard labour but the delivery was fast and free of any problems! He weighs in at a whopping 8lbs 11 oz. and is 21.5 inches long, lots of dark hair and is a real little cutie pie!! I will post photos later, but for right now this grandma is going to catch a few zzzz's and then get back to the hospital. Have a wonderful day everyone, I know that I will :becky: Hooray this baby has finally come out to meet us!!!!!

my day wasn't a busy day, but I was really tired. Only did some housework, grocery shopping, went to the doctor, pick up the kids from school and brought them away again (DH brought them in the morning and picked them up at the end of the day) and went to the playground for half an hour. Now the kids are in bed and I have time to scrap
