Daily Ooo's: Tuesday, June 23

Date Challenged in my head this morning. I woke up thinking that it was Wed. and that Cait didn't have school. Then I thought she did, but had her Finals the second session which meant she could sleep until 7. Then I thought that I didn't have to babysit.
*Then* I realized that all of them were wrong and that I had to get up, get Cait up, get Max to the bus, and then get out of the house for my dr's appt. All of those thoughts in a non-caffeinated brain in a matter of minutes. Made my head spin. :bowl:

Thank goodness I didn't fall back asleep like I wanted to. Cait usually gets up before me but I had a feeling she wasn't going to be up, that she didn't care too much how she looked today and wanted sleep more than being made-up. And I was right.

Off to my LLMD, keep your fingers crossed for me that my dr says I can start working again. OH!!!!!!! I forgot to tell you!!!! The other day I got my blood work results online and my liver enzymes were all in the normal range!!! :whoo:
(sad that is what really makes me happy, but dang, it made me HAPPY!!!)

That is it here, same old same old... Nj is getting ready for some severe thunderstorms this afternoon too. Really wish I could split up the rain clouds and send some to you Trudy.

Nancy- I am like you, I don't put too much stock in the Hallmark Holidays, but that would have made me feel pretty insignificant if my kids did that to me.
What are those TV shows about?
The weather was nice here too and after I did the morning errands, I did a bit more yard work. Hope your bike ride was a good one!

Trudy- I hope that the heat doesn't do you in too much this summer. Your day sounded busy but nice.
The fire pit on the lake must have been awesome with music and all!

Jean- good to hear that you are getting some scrapping done. I hope that you will start to feel chatty again soon, but I understand where you are coming from.
Cait is going to be working at the pizzeria still, and babysitting. Scott is working at the restaurant so I won't see them too much

Good morning I am busy this am with visit to hairdresser and then gyno appointment So from fun to least favorite Then as Chris said thunderstorms but that is good as it will break the heat. Then tomorrow I have early dentist appointment. I feel like you Chris with all these appointments. Messes up my day. I got in a good bike ride before the heat arrived. Went to chipotle with my girlfriend. Love their chips. Watched the USA women's soccer team defeat Columbia 2-0. It was much closer than it should have been as they played 11 vs 10 players when the Columbian goalie was given a red card.

Chris I think you want summer to be here lol. Glad you liver enzymes came out normal. You should be happy. Hoping you get go ahead to start to work.

Trudy I think the older we get as women our natural basal temp is higher so we are less tolerant of the heat. Stay hydrated. Congrats at getting so much done. Been forgetting to ask but is the World Cup soccer big in your part of BC. Looks like the stadiums are not full.

Jean glad you are getting some scrapping done. Good to see you here chatting a bit.

After more storms it is lovely here but my most fun time will probably be my PT appointment. The knee really is benefiting from that.

Chris, good news on the liver enzymes! and why NOT feel happy. Your confusion over the day is sort of normal for some of us who are retired. Sometimes the difference from one day to the next is which doctor (and which one of us) has an appointment.

Nancy, good thing the US soccer team has such good defense. I got to see most of that game too. I love the page you did of the Texas bird list on the Montezuma Quail page. It turned out really well. I had to wonder though, what order are the names in? Were the ones in bold new for you?
