Happy first day of summer! and winter to my Aussie friends. I am glad it is summer here.
I am slowly feeling a bit better but I am still very tired. So here is more :tea: to share with all of you.

Laurie- I saw the kitty- what did you decide to do with him? I would have such a hard decision. i say that we are all done with new animals, but I have said that many times before LOL

nana- it really sounds like you need a break, hope that you can get away for a while. hugs!

Trudy- hope that you are not too tired today and that you had a good day at work.

kristy- how was the beach?

Clara- i saw Addie's poor eye- what happened?? Enjoy your day

Oh wow- how scary about the house! Def. sending good thoughts!

Happy Tuesday everyone... It is the first day of summer and the sun is actually shining today!! I sure hope that we are finally going to get some summer weather and have some warmer temps!! If not then we will feel really ripped off of our summer season!! Off to work today from 8-2 yesterday was a long day, but it went pretty fast. My grandaughter got her first shiner the other day as she had a run in with the coffee table, so will have to try to scrap the black eye incident. House needs a good vacuming too, so I 'm not sure if I will have time to get it all in or not. Oh well, what will be, will be.

Chris - I will have a cup of :tea: with you. I could use some more caffine to get me going this morning!

Laurie - Did you get back on the treadmill?

Nana Linda - hope your day is not full of surprises!! Did you get to try out your new basketball goal??

Clara - Does Addie have a shiner too??

Kristy - Did the sun come out while you were at the beach? I hope so!

Nana, sending you gobs and gobs of hugs today, hun!!!!

And sending wonderful caffeinated wishes out to everyone else!! I am letting myself have a couple of cups of caffeinated coffee in a week...not too much...just enough to get myself going on the early days!! plus it's vanilla coffee and no one else will drink the flavored stuff, and I just don't think we should waste it!! so two cups a week shouldn't hurt since I'm completely off of coca-cola!

We've had storms the last two nights...the weather radio keeps going off. I just need some good, sound sleep!

Shaun had his first swim meet last night. He swam four events. He had to be there 30 minutes early for warm-ups. We were in the very hot pool area from 5:30 - 9:30. I'm tired.

Linda - My sister and I both did water sports in HS. I dove and my sister swam. My parents did lots of pool sitting. I feel so bad for them now. My stuff wasn't as bad because the pools were bigger but still not fun.

Sally - I agree...vanilla coffee should not be wasted. Good for you for cutting out your soda. Have you lost weight doing that? My future BIL quit drinking soda and lost weight without doing anything else.

Trudy - I have decided you will have great weather by July 6. I will be expecting awesome weather while I am in Washington. And yes...Addie has a black eye. She got run into by a bike handle. http://instagr.am/p/GGOp6/?ref=nf

Chris - Yay for summer!! I just wish it were not quite so summery and HOT!!!!! here. I love the spring weather here though. I am just never happy, am I?? Lol!! So, the black eye story...Addie was out playing with the boys outside and the neighbor kid was on his bike riding fast. He called out for everyone to get out of his way and Addie decided she couldn't be bothered and he ran into her and the handle bar hit her face. She said it was all her fault and not his. It turned black immediately. Poor girl. It is all yellow and green now.

Well, big storms here now. Lots of lightening and thunder and it panics my poor girl. She thinks every storm means tornados because for awhile every storm did mean that. Today was a busy day. Ethan started climbing camp today, Addie and I had a little social gathering at McD's, then she tried on her flower girl dress to see what size we needed. The dress is being sold on ebay so hopefully I'll be able to get it much cheaper than at David's. I put a pic of Addie spinning in it on FB and my mom freaked out. But it was fuzzy, flaired out and from the back. I would never have put a pic of it online so that you could see the dress for what it was. It is the matching dress to my sister's dress. Then Ethan had piano and the kids had VBS after that. VERY busy day. Hopefully tomorrow is a little calmer, although I don't see it happening. Well, I will chat with you guys tomorrow!!

Oh...have any of you guys been watching The Voice? I am loving it and LOVE LOVE LOVE Frenchie and Victoria (she's from Tacoma...give it up!!!) Anyway, it is a fun show.
