Oh am I breathing a huge sigh of relief this morning! If you didn't see me running through the forum yelling about the great news re: my nephew, the adoption is good to go!!! That baby is now an official and permanent part of our fam!!!

Thank goodness for that good news at the end of a very long day. Cait's appt went as expected, i guess. Dr. says she has most likely a new infection, not a relapse. I am so conflicted. I can't see how we will ever get better if we can get re-bitten and never even know it. Its pretty scary. The cost of it all is staggering. $560 for the office visit and another $200-300 for her blood work. Its depressing.

But I have a new baby to love!!!! Wheeee!!!

Hope that everyone has a fab day. I am moving kind of slowly this morning. I had said that i was going to have a nice glass of wine at the end of the day for Me me Monday. Well.... one glass turning into 3! oops!!

morning all - back to work for me- my left ear began to ache last night, and still feels off this morning- sure hope I am not getting an infection. I was able to accomplish a lot yesterday, but it sure does not look it this morning. I have a sparrow hopping around on deck and the brick outside my window, and a hummer stopping by for a drink. Sure makes bill paying more fun! Off to yeah you guessed it, the treadmill before work. Will be a long day as I did not do any paperwork at home yesterday due to my internet connection issues. They resolved, but- it was a day off.

I think that today will be just a great day for me because I was just informed that I`ve got a big promotion so I can hardly wait to go there.

Morning ladies!! It looks like it might be a half decent day today, but one never knows around here and the weather has been pretty crazy everywhere!! Off to work for a full day today Uggh!! Oh well only a short shift tomorrow then a day off.

Serena - congrats on the big promotion!! It will make going to work that much sweeter!!

Laurie - Hope your ear feels better and that it is not an infection!! Don't you just love watching the hummingbirds, we have two feeders and love that they come and hang around our yard!

Chris - What wonderful news about your new nephew!! But I am sorry about Cait's appt!! The cost is awful!! I wish I could send you my health care!! Sending healing thoughts your way :hug:

Good morning...errrr...afternoon!! I am waiting for some tea to steep so I thought I'd pop in here real quick. Addie is currently cleaning her ridiculous mess in the kitchen. She poured herself cereal and it is now all over the floor. Grrrr!! Ethan wants to go to the neighbor's house but doesn't want to do what he has to. It isn't much and should have taken less than an hour and here it is almost 1 and he's still not done. It is all good though. I have some yummy tea and I'm here on Oscraps and then I will face the house in a few minutes.

Chris - I am so happy for you and your brother. That really sucks about the Lyme doc cost. I wish there were an answer to that. So is the practice of treating Lyme just not approved by the medical board types or what is the story with that? I sooooo wish you could use my medical too. I would assume the military would just cover it...at least I would hope so. Hugs!!

Laurie - You are on fire!!! Go girl go on that treadmill. Maybe I'll go for a walk tonight once the temperature drops. We'll see. I hope your ear feels better. Mine hurt a lot too, but that is because of sinus pressure, not infection thank goodness.

Serena - Congrats on the promotion. I hope you enjoy your new position.

Trudy - Good luck on your full day of work. Switching from half day to full day is always a bit rough. I hope you are not exhausted at the end of it. Hugs!!

Trudy, I agree...the weirdest weather all around!!! Good for you!

I went to work out with the personal trainer this morning...thought it was an 8 am appointment. I was early but I thought I'd warm up with cardio. So I started at 7:45 and at 8:15 when the trainer showed up, I realized that I had forgotten the time. Thirty minutes of hard cardio followed by thirty minutes of lifting weights.

Laurie, you are just rocking the treadmill.
