Good morning, all of you darlin' people.

Did I ever tell you how much the sun makes me feel better? A few times, right? It has been much nicer not being cold all of the time.The one thing I dislike is being barefoot makes me realize how dirty my floors are. Much easier to ignore crumbs and loose coffee grinds in the kitchen if ya can't feel 'em.

Ray was so good at the vet's yesterday. She cowered under my legs but that is fine. She didn't try to jump off of the table like Jaida did. She was due for a heartworm test and another vaccine, so they offered to do all of them at once. And they didn't charge more for the exam. Yay!
I love my vet.

My mom came up with some food and then we went to lunch with Caitlyn. We went to a dog-themed cafe called Fetch and it was all done up in dog-decor. Pictures and painting of dogs everywhere. So much fun wandering around looking at them all.

Today is food shopping and some more yard work.The kids are camping out in the backyard this weekend and I have just a little more to go near the fire pit.

No ideas of what to do for dinners, but what else is new? I found a recipe for chickpea and spinach burgers that I am going to try tonight. We'll see.

Nancy- what a nice time you have had. That is really cool about the Devils/Brodeur banner photo shoot. That is a treasure for you.
The weather is making all of my fur-babies shed like mad, even Jaida who has that short course pitty fur. Ray is a big poof ball and I don't even want to think about Catzilla. She sheds a lot on a good day.
Oh wow, that is crazy that you have a bear down by you now. I know that there was one in Montclair last month. We haven't seen any at all so far.
Just make lots of noise if you see one, back up slowly and no eye contact.

Sharon, how is FIL? must be scary, esp at his age. Good health vibes to him.

Trudy- that is really strange about your weather with the pouring rain only 10 minutes away. Our town is like that too. We would be at the lake and we would get thunder/rain, drove home 10 minutes and not a drop. Glad that you had fun golfing and at your lunch with your sisters. Must have been beautiful views.
I was wondering the same thing about Scott's keys- that maybe the ghost did it. Weirder things than that have happened, right?

Rae- Why would anyone call that early? I would have hung up too. That must be such a relief to you that Bailey's BF seems nice. I think it will be a good thing to have dinner together. Good luck with the heavy workload.

Better get going, I am running a bit behind schedule.

good morning - Luther is a doggie day care and boys are off to work and I am getting ready to go for my last knee shot. My knee is feeling better so I am hoping this will last for the 6 months before I have to go back. So today will be low key. Update on bear. The bear was first seen in a neighboring town and then walked to our town then continued to another town where it decided to rest under a homeowner's porch. The Fish and Wildlife management people came and tranquilized the bear and took him to the woods. He is thought to be a yearling so not full grown. Glad he is back in the woods.

Chris I totally agree this weather is awesome. Took Luther out in the evening and it was so nice - no coat etc. Camping in the backyard sounds like such a kid thing to do. I bet they have a blast. How fun to be with you mom and Cait. That restaurant sounds so cute.

Trudy you had one fun weekend. That is how rain works sometimes. So strange. Hope the soreness goes away soon. I want to go to a restaurant on the ocean. Food can taste so good by the sea.

Rae a call that early asking for info I would have thought for sure it was a scam! Glad you said good bye. Hope the work load is not too bad!

Sharon hope your FIL came through the procedure with flying colors.

FIL did fine and he is now back in normal cardiac rhythm.

Good Morning ladies... I had a pretty great day yesterday, got all my housework done and enjoyed the sunshine for a bit also. It is cloudy and windy and very chilly here this morning only 56 degrees brrr! I am hoping to hit the pool this morning sometime and also want to attend the live scrap and chat with Vicki Robinson, it looks like fun! I also have to change up my Avatar sometime today. I made the very tough decision to leave the Anna Team yesterday, so today I will officially post my last page from being on her team. I am going to be too busy for god knows how long with Heather and her family to be able to keep up with all that wonderful stuff that Anna does. I don't think its fair to her or myself. So I guess I need a new photo of myself too as that one that I have is getting old. (just like me LOL)

Chris - I am so happy that the sun is finally out in your area and you are feeling the wonderful benefits from it! I don't like bare feet either, it is really scary how dirty your floors can be and yet they look ok :becky: I washed my floors yesterday but I can see a bunch of places that I missed Ugh!! Out comes the mop again!! :frusty: There were awesome views for our lunch the other day, but not one of us remembered to take a picture!!! Darn it! Oh well next time. How fun for your kids to be out in backyard for the weekend! I bet they have a blast! We haven't used our fire pit yet this year, it always seems to be too windy and we don't want to smoke out the neighbours that live next to us. (the ones behind us I would love too!! ) Sadly the wind never goes that direction. Hope you find something yummy to make for dinner tonight!

Nancy - Your house is empty and I bet you have a great day of scrapping! Hope the injection is pain free I bet your knee feels so much better! Wish DH would go back to the dr to talk about getting that done! Nancy if you ever make it over to the Island I will take you out to Genoa Bay it is such a cute little tucked away place you would love it! Its a bit of curvy drive but so beautiful! Glad to hear that the bear was re-located and not shot!! Everyone can breath a bit better knowing it is not out there. Enjoy your day to yourself!!

:hello: Rae I hope you are having a bit nicer weather then we are, but probably not. What crazy wind we had yesterday evening! Now I have to go out and blow all the crap off the decks AGAIN!! More pick up in the backyard too. It never ends! How nice that you are so close to Bailey and that you enjoyed meeting her Boyfriend! I really hope that he makes her happy and that she continues to be clean!! Have a wonderful day, hope your work load is light today!

Good morning, ladies. Had a productive first hour of my day (after a quick coffee). I sorted through some summer clothes, put away the long sleeved shirts for the season, and am washing (and hopefully shrinking) some capris. It's time to start shopping for a few things now. Luckily I have lots of jeans and sweaters that'll fit but I'm going to need some new shirts soon.

Lots of work has come in this morning so once again, I will be away from the computer for most of the day, except I hope to pop in to Vicki's webinar later this morning. I think tonight I'll relax and scrap a page while watching TV. If I work hard all day I should be able to finish up work at a decent hour. I get antsy if I go more than a day or two without creating a page.

Comcast called yesterday afternoon while I was out (didn't bother returning their call) and then they called again this morning. This time it was at a more decent hour (8:30). The woman was going on and on and on....I cut her off, said the telephone had a signal when we left the trailer on Sunday and I have no idea if I can dial out b/c I'm not there to check it. After that I hung up as she was still talking. They better not call again or I will scream LOL.

Chris - that restaurant sounds like so much fun! Taz is shedding more than usual now too, usually he barely sheds at all so its unusual to have to brush him every day or so. It's still not a huge amount of fur but for him it is much more than previous summers.

Sharon - glad to hear your FIL is doing ok.

Nancy - glad the injections are helping.

Trudy - it's cool and damp here today too and lots of rain is coming for a few days. I can't remember ever having such odd weather here. Sure glad I have a raincoat
