hello, o-zies!
The sun is shining but it is cold-- 47*! That is crazy for almost-mid-June. I cannot seem to get warm! it could be worse so I am happy for sunny and cool. It should get to 70* this afternoon so that will be nice, but darn it, where is my summer weather?
My eye appt was actually fine and somewhat fun. The new dr that I saw was adorable. I mean she was funny and excited. She was passionate about eyes which had me laughing. And my eyes-- retina thinning and scar tissue were the same. So was my Rx so I don't have to go back until next year. :whoo:
When I got home, I had to do damage control for my lilies. The lily beetles are back. Two years ago I had such a bad infestation I had to cut them down. Last year they were ok, not the best blooms but they were alive. This year, they are getting ready to bloom and they look like they are going to be gorgeous. But when I looked at them yesterday I saw some of the leaves were being chewed and saw the darn beetles and the larvae on them. You have to pick off the larvae - actually, I guess it was the pupal stage- by hand and to say that they are *disgusting* is an understatement.
Caitlyn got home from babysitting early- within minutes of Scott- and they went out on the rowboat together before the sun went down. I can't wait to hear about it.
I am going food shopping this morning (wheee!) and then after lunch, I have a couple of errands to run in town. I have to get more food for Floyd and then run to the library to get something good to read. Any suggestions?
Gary sent me a picture of Jaida smiling, she has the best smile. I want to scrap it, so maybe I can do that too? Not feeling it at the moment, but who knows what will happen right?
xoxo!!!!
