Crazy Kitty says good morning and happy tuesday as she tried to sit on my keyboard and table. It is so humid and sticy that I don't even want her on my lap- her fur is all over me. but I love her anyway.
She is p2 3ew -- purring so loud, I think she wants to be part of the O-Fam too LOL

Oh Laurie- I am so sorry to hear about your friend, She is the one who had been having issues with her pregnancy before? My heart breaks for her.
I hope that the photos will be a comfort to her in the future.
Good luck with work- baby steps- and you can do anything for 15 mins (channeling Flylady for ya!)

trudy- oooh! what did you do with your day! Hope it was a great one. Good thoughts to your BIL.

Heidi- welcome to the daily ooos! i totally hear ya on the cleaning. i have two kids (teens!!), a hubby who is disabled and home 24/7, 3 cats, 2 dogs (i am not counting the rats/frogs/bunny because I don't have to clean up after them, they are my kids') and i feel the same.
I probably shouldn't complain about the heat we have in NJ (92* today!)-- but I am guessing we have more humidity than you LOL

Have a fantastic day!!

Chris I'm from NJ! I grew up in middlesex county, and then moved to the shore after I graduated HS. I'd still be there if I hadn't fallen in love with a military man and moved all over the country with him! He got out of the Army 6 years ago, so that he could spend more time with the family, but got a job with a government contractor and now travels even more than when he was in the Army!!! Now I'm stuck in TX and during the summer I hide in the house because it's just WAY TOO HOT for me!

Anyways, not much planned here for me. Trying to finish up a page I started yesterday, I just can't seem to get it the way I like it. Plus I need to get the pile of laundry (aka the laundry monster) off the dining room table and into the drawers and closets where it belongs before it takes over the dining room...again :( Washing & drying is never a problem, its the folding and putting it away that just seems to be the issue!

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Hey ladies!!

I am finally sitting down with a few minutes before working on some wedding stuff. Let me tell you, it is wedding 24/7 around here. But I have a dress now, which is great. Let me see if I can give you a link...

Can you believe it has pockets? LOL!! My sister is trying to dress my mother which I am sure you can imagine is not going very well. LOL!!! We ditched my sister and went shopping without her (she is never fun to shop with) and had a blast looking through all the crazy dresses and sending pics to my sister saying that was the dress my mom had picked. It was great.

I've got to spend some time with some friends which has been great, went to the dentist (along with the kids), and borrowed a car. So now I need to focus on the guest book and a memory book for the bridal shower. It should come together pretty easy though.

Derek is missing me and so has spent almost every night at Dave's house cooking dinner (working on emptying out that freezer). Dave doesn't cook and our house is destroyed with packing. He calls a lot. :(

Chris - That crazy kitty. I had a cat that would always try and suckle my earlobes. That didn't go over very well as it was quite annoying. Good luck with that heat. It was the hottest day this year in Fayetteville at 102 and 89% humidity.

Heidi - welcome to the O!! I missed you before. I am also a military wife. My husband works in the medical field and doesn't deploy so he stays wherever we are which is currently Fayetteville, NC. Home is Washington State though, which is where I am at the moment until August. We'll be in for another 4 years until my husband retires. Hopefully then we'll come back home to Washington. We'll see what happens though. When I get back to NC I'm hoping to work on getting a government job also.

Trudy - Good luck with the grocery shopping. I hate it and am very thankful that my mom is doing it these days.

Laurie - I just read about your friend. That is so horrible. that was always one on my greatest fears in getting pregnant. There was a girl in my church that had similar issues...several miscarriages and a late term miscarriage but they finally had a baby just recently. I've had an early miscarriage which was heart breaking but I cannot even imagine had I been pregnant for any longer the devastation that would cause. My heart breaks for them.

Alrighty ladies...I'll check back in soon.
