GooOd mOrning, Ooos! How are you today?
I am doing pretty ok so far. Decent night's sleep, with only a few weird dreams. I think I had a pretty successful day yesterday too. Even if my mom called me *four* times over the darn graduation cake.
Long story short: I asked my parents to order the cake from Costco so I wouldn't have to make the hour trip down to the store. I found an order form online, printed it out, and Cait filled it in. Then scanned and emailed it to them so she could use that to place the order in person. (really stupid that Costco doesn't give you an option to order online or by phone). Anyway, my mom has called either me or Caitlyn every day since I sent them the form to make sure that she has it right. Yesterday she called three times while she was at Costco and once after she got home.
It's a cake. A $20 grad cake. I keep telling her that, Caitlyn keeps telling her that.
She and my dad are coming up today to pick up some of the boxes of paper goods so I have less to pack on Saturday. (I offered to go to them but I guess they want to get out of the house? Dunno!!!) She said that she is going to bring a copy of the form she submitted yesterday to make sure it is all correct.
Lord help me. o_O

PS: Caitlyn and Tom are thinking about having an engagement party in September. I am not sure I am going to be able to do this all over again [faints]

@BrightEyes How did you make it through the weather yesterday? I am not sure what is better for you, the heat or the rain. I hope that the winds aren't too bad while the rain comes through. How is your knee holding up today? It has to feel really good to talk with your sister for so long too.

@Cherylndesigns Labs sure are willing to please :) I miss my Ray, she was such a good girl. So funny about Daisy, not walking on the grates, that makes a bit of sense though. Ray would *not* walk over speed bumps. Never could figure out *why???* Didn't matter if it was painted yellow or not, she refused to walk over them.

@taxed4ever Yay for your summer weather!
18 -- nope, now 17 more sleeps! Are you going to see if you can meet with Heather and the boys while you are in Ottawa?

Morning everyone! Its another beautiful sunny day! It got darn hot yesterday and I was busy with getting more items sold on Marketplace and had a great visit with my brother! Talked for quite a while with the boys and yes @faerywings we are getting together with Heather, Jonah and the boys while we are in Ottawa. Heather and the boys will be with us the whole visit, but Jonah will only be there for a couple of days. He has to work and can't get more than a few days off :(. Oh well hopefully we can get a good photo of all of us together again! It is a very long trip by car for the Heather, but she is looking forward to getting away for a bit. I also got downtown yesterday and found myself a couple of new things to wear, it was a pretty good day! Today I am going to go for a walk before it gets really hot out there and other than that I hope to get some scrapping done and just enjoy the quiet house and the sunshine.

@faerywings - You did show us Caitlyn's ring, but so glad you are showing it off again, its beautiful and you must be so very happy for the two of them!! Sorry that your Mom is obsessing over the Cake order LOL. It is exactly what my FIL is like!! Patience my friend, patience!! Hope that your visit with them goes well and that she got the order right LOL. Hope that you can make that to do list shorter today!

Well the boys have called and I was talking with them for almost an hour!!! Trying to keep them occupied while their Mom was on a Zoom meeting, not an easy process LOL. Better get out for my walk before the temps rise too much. Have a great day everyone!

Just popping in while on lunch break in day 2 of the week-long class in NJ genealogy research. I knew there would be a lot to learn & that is sure true. It's a little overwhelming. Yesterday I didn't have time at lunch as I searched in a database and found great records from one of my families there.

Good morning ladies. just an update... I've not felt well for awhile and it's taking its toll on my energy. I have been resting and watching tv most afternoons/evenings so not online as much. Hopefully I will start to feel better soon but in the meantime I'm doing a bit of CT work but not around as much.

@faerywings Your poor mom gets so stressed out and poor you for it driving you crazy.
@taxed4ever Glad you found some new clothes for your upcoming trip.

I'm hopping in the shower now. Gotta go.

Hello my lovelies.

I'm finally getting on here - I went down the rabbit hole on Amazon - it's Prime Day today and tomorrow. They do have a lot on sale. I ordered a few things, but am looking for the jean shorts I bought Sat - I want them in a lighter wash, too. Also the shirt - I want it in a different pattern. No luck, so far. :(

Chris, about your mom. I dunno is the best response. Bless her heart. You did show us Cait's gorgeous ring - but you can show it to us every day if you want. LOL I love her Anteater. So, another party??? Isn't that grand (she says out of the corner of her mouth). I'm sure you're starting to panic just a wee bit.

Rae @bcgal00 hope you get to feeling better - just keep relaxing and making layouts. That's what I do when I'm not feeling well. I can always push that mouse around.

Better go - Adrienne's on her way down.
