CHEERY O
OK-- where did my warm El Nino weather go??? It is 6*F and that does not make me happy. At all! I don't want to have to leave the house, let along push a shopping cart in this.
:brick:
Stop complaining, Faery, it could be worse, it could be 6* and snowing. :tape:

I was so busy yesterday but I still didn't do everything that I had on my list. I got all of my coupons sorted and list made, but still no actual dinner ideas from anyone. FAFSA's are submitted except that the website isn't accepting digital signatures for Caitlyn. Scott's went through fine, go figure. Some of my outdoor decorations are down but I couldn't be outside for very long. It is mainly the lights and I think I will let Gary deal with them. He won't need a ladder like I do.
Hmm, now that I look back, where did the day go? I swear, I was busy non-stop but it feels like nothing was done????

Today will be busy too, food shopping, bank, library and Ray's vet appt is this afternoon. Gary gave the pups baths yesterday and Ray's fur is still damp underneath. She was so fluffed out after she was done. Jaida's fur is so short that it looked the same as before. heh.

Not much exciting here, I hope that your days are more thrilling than mine, but only in good ways! :D

Laurie- hope that getting up at 4.30 gets easier as you practice. I had to laugh that you needed to practice putting make up on. I got through that all of the time. I'll do mine make up, then ask Cait: Fix me!
Eeeep! Weddings are so expensive. My parents paid for the reception itself, and my paid for my dress. Gary and I did everything else. Looking back, I would rather have had a smaller wedding (Impossible with an Italian family that holds grudges based on where their seating is let alone not being invited to a wedding LOL) and the money for a house. Hope that convo goes over ok for you.

nancy- that 3 yo must have been so cute and excited meeting some of the team. You must be in your glory with all of these games to watch :)

Rae- that picture of Taz is amazing!!! Not only is it a great action shot, the trees and composition is stunning! You rock!!!
What did you think of Room? I loved the book.

Trudy- the sleep part of the fitbit is pretty enlightening, even if it is scary how little we actually sleep! I did find out why I don't get text notifications. My phone is so old that its OS isn't high enough to be compatible. Thank you for the meal plan support, it means so much.

Crud- it is late and the car is going to need to be warmed and scraped.

Hugs!

Morning O fam- slept in until 5:30 today, off to shower to get ready for my drug tests and photo op today!! After that I will grocery shop. My new computer will arrive tomorrow- thankful I have this week to get stuff moved over.

Just a quick post from me today. Chris, I feel ya on the cold - 75 degree on Christmas Eve ... fast forward two weeks, and it was 13 when I left the house this morning; top of around 30-35 today. To make it even more "fun" (ha!), our office heat is all screwed up, so right now I'm working in our conference room, which is the warmest part of the office. If I sit in my own office, my hands get too cold, and even the tip of my nose gets cold!

Working through a majorly-long to-do list with work stuff. I had been putting off a few things, waiting for the new gal to start ... but now I've got to take care of them myself. *sigh* We're only given when He believes we can handle, right?

good morning - all I can say is if I did not have Luther I would never have set foot outdoors today. He of course does not understand cold when he is fine but 10 F is cold. But I put on my long underwear, down coat, scarf and hat and off we went. Well it was cold but I think because I trotted I was able to not get frozen. And I am glad I did get out. There is something about cold that is refreshing (in small amounts). It should be much warmer as the week goes on. My Devils lost 1-0. Sad! The USA lost to Russia again. Now this am they are playing Sweden for Bronze. Been working on my Dec with Luther pages and that is fun. Got laundry done and actually stopped at the grocery store on the way back from hockey game so I don't have to go anywhere today.

Chris I know what you mean about those days where you felt busy but don't know what you got done. Good luck with grocery shopping!

Laurie how fun to have a new computer coming. I really need a new one as there are things that are now not working as I am hesitant to upgrade the operating system. Smile for that photo!

Kat I remember those days where the heat/AC can not be changed when the weather changes and of course there is no way to open windows!

Rae that is an awesome photo of Taz! what a cutie!

Trudy so funny because I felt the same way that Montreal was going to be given the win. And yes there is no consistency in supplemental discipline. Felt really bad for Brad!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies
snowing-smiley.gif
yes its all white here this morning and it looks so pretty, but I really hope that it warms up and melts I do not want to shovel my very steep drive way!!! Why is it every time I try to get some scrapping done, it never works out?? I got lots of phone calls from family and friends which is good and then I got my walk in, did a few things around the house and by the time I sat down to scrap a page the day had disappeared on me and it was time to get dinner started. Why does it seem that the time goes by so much faster than when I was working and I get less done??

Chris - Sounds like we had the same type of day, got lots done really but it sure doesn't seem like it!! :becky: It is kind of scary that I only average about 5 hrs of sleep every night, but I really don't feel too bad, sure am ready for bed at the end of the day though!! Too bad you can't get your txt notifications but is there any way to update the OS for your phone? Hope that your temps warm up for you and that grocery shopping goes quickly and you can get back to your nice warm house. I am hoping that the snow melts before I have to head out to swim this morning, I really do not want to have to shovel our treacherous driveway!!!

Laurie - Smile pretty for that camera!! Hope your grocery shopping goes well too!

Kat - Brrrr, no fun trying to work in the cold!! Hope your new girl starts soon so you can get back to doing what you need to do, no fun having to do others jobs as well.

Nancy - Luther keeps you busy!! Nice that you are still getting out for a walk even in the cold! I used to walk in minus 35 weather with a friend when I lived in Sask. We were all bundled up and had balaclavas on and looked like snow men but we got out there for our walks everyday, glad I don't have to do that anymore though :becky: Off to see your new pages in the gallery!!

Rae - I am sure that we will be posting at the same time again, hope you are able to get some more beautiful pictures with all this new snow we are getting!!

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone, do something creative today!!

Good morning, ladies. Had a quiet half hour, drinking my coffee and reading. It seems so quiet without my hubs here. He left yesterday on a biz trip and will be gone til late tomorrow night. We didnt' watch "Room" last night, my daughter rescheduled and will come over tonight. I popped over to the casino for a few hours last night and played, going up and down, and then coming home with the money I took. That was fun. I watched Biggest Loser and had my SF jello and Cool Whip. I stuck to my WW points yesterday (day one for me). It was fun to use my phone app to scan the barcodes at the store to get the WW points of foods. We're back to the rain today, no more snow. I'll get Taz out for a walk at lunchtime b/c he doesn't care if it rains, he's always up a for a walk.

Chris - yes...I can relate. Hours can go by and I wonder what the heck did I do? Time flies and nothing gets done.

Laurie - good luck with the photo, hope it turns out nice.

Kat - hope you get a new employee soon so your schedule won't be so busy.

Trudy - Is it a fitbit you have? I'm going to look into getting one. I'm curious to track my activity throughout the day and even more curious about tracking my sleeping pattern. The only thing I'm not sure of is if the tracker will be awkward on my arm when I wear my wrist supports during the day when I'm working (b/c of my long hours of typing). I haven't been able to find any info about that. I know I could take it off when I work but then it won't count my steps throughout the day. I need to find out more about this.

Nancy - yes, I agree, the clean, cold, crisp air is refreshing (in small amounts). I was bundled up in a warm coat and scarf so wasn't cold at all on my hike and really enjoyed the fresh air.

I'm going to work on a challenge today and get some work done around the house. My work schedule shouldn't be too bad today. Have a wonderful day, ladies!
