I guess "vacation" is officially over. I know, it isn;t like anything has changed between today and yesterday but I gave myself the week off mentally, so now I am back on track to get stuff *done.*

Why do you all laugh at me when I say that?? :D

No, really, I am going to work on a lot of organizing today. I decided to put off food shopping until tomorrow. Just doing that wipes me out, and I have to call the agencies today. I can only do one stressful thing at a time.

I think that I got all of my Font issues fixed. *fingers crossed* I copied over whatever was in my F: Font folder to my C: drive. But I realized that there were fonts that I had on my old computer that are gone. Thank goodness for dafont.com.

Then Gary, Cait, and I watched a couple of 30 Rock episodes together and that show is hysterical. Gray and I then watched 2 episodes of The OA.

Wish me luck this morning while I wait on hold for what will be a long time, I am sure. I hope that I can get the answers that I need without too much hassle. Is that a lot to ask? ;)

Hope that you all have a fantastic day!

Nancy- I think all of the cardinals are up at my house. The other day we had a cluster of about 5 or so in my backyard sitting on a log together. It is something to see a bald eagle. I have only seen one once. There have been sightings and nests up here, but the one I saw was years ago.
That sounds scary to have a player stretchered off the ice. I hope that it wasn't anything too serious.

Rae- I have to say that I am shocked at how much snow you still have and we don't have any left. Even the snow that we have had has only been a few inches at a time and the warm bouts in between have melted it all. Again, I am not complaining but it is worrying how warm each year is getting. (And I am trying to be good and keeping my opinions to myself, but to have the President Elect be a climate denier and to have nominated so many who are also deniers is kinda terrifying)
I bet you needed a nap after all of that walking and playing with Taz.
Yes, that is what my plan is for today- uninstall FF and then reinstall and see what happens. I will use Chrome if I have too, it has some nice features but there doesn't seem to be an add-on/extension like CoLT (copies links/texts) in FF and I use that all of the time.

Jean- it must have been very peaceful to be out birding by yourself. Did you have a successful count yesterday too?
I decided not to bother calling yesterday since I knew that no one would in office. I just want my questions/accounts fixed. Darn it!! *stomps feet*

Hugs to all!

Morning ladies... I was MIA yesterday as poor DH has taken a turn for the worse and is now in bed home from work with pneumonia. I sent him to the clinic yesterday and they prescribed some antibiotics and an inhaler. He was feeling like he could at least breath again by yesterday afternoon. I put my foot down and told him that under no circumstances is going into work until this has cleared up!! I was shocked when i woke up and found him still at home :becky: So it will be a quiet day of taking care of my poor sick man and hopefully getting some scrap time in there too! I need to make some homemade soup sometime today and then a bit of

thrown in there too. I am hoping to talk with Heather and Mason today also and find out how things are going with all of them!

Chris - We are not laughing at you... ya right

I hope that you manage to get organized and I totally get only being able to do one stressful thing at a time!! :gaah: I don't know how you handle dealing with all of those health coverage phone calls!! I think I would kill someone!! LOL. Now you reminded me that I have to go grocery shopping today also... :mmph: there goes some of my scrapping time again!

Nancy - Your darn devils sure made my DH's Bruins look bad last night!! LOL The bruins just seemed like they were not interested in playing hockey at all!! Not expecting any great things from them this season! Your bird count sounded like it was great! I love to see the eagles in the trees, there is no shortage of them here and in one particular place as I drive downtown there can be as many as 10 -15 of them on this one old huge dead tree overlooking the river. So awesome! I wish I had a better zoom lens to take a pic of them!

Rae - Hope you get to enjoy another walk in the sunshine with Taz today! You have so much more snow than we do, ours is almost gone, but it looks like you guys got a good pile of it the other day where it hardly snowed at all for us over here. Hope you hear about your computer today!

Jean - I hope your bird count went well and hopefully the sun comes out for you today! I bet you wish you had a heated jacket like Nancy's while you are out birding! Enjoy your day!

Ok I need some more coffee then I check in on all of the beauty here in the gallery! So much to catch up on in the forums today also. Have a wonderful day and send some healing vibes to my DH today, it would be much appreciated!! I hate playing nurse maid to a stubborn man!! :becky:

Raining today but still not that cold. I've got to leave about noon for a meeting but before that have calls to make that I hope go well.

Chris, good luck with your calls. I know you need it! Yes we had a nice time out yesterday. Sunday the heated jacket would have been great.

Trudy! So sorry about your MG. Wishing him a speedy recovery and good luck to you.

Hope it's a good day for all.

Good late am. It is really raining here so it is good I got Luther out before this started. I have straightened up and vacuumed and swept the kitchen floor. Now I would like to sit. I have a lot to scrap. My Devils played well but you are correct Trudy I think Boston underestimated my team. Went to store after game to make sure I had stuff for breakfast and dinner and my son gets says he needed stuff. I was so mad as I hate shopping and got stuff he needed but mostly he had 4 days off and he could have gone any of those days. He really needs to be on his own.

Chris good luck with all the calls. I called and they let me leave a number and they called me back at a specific time and so I did not have to sit on hold.

Trudy my DH did the same thing a few years ago and ended up with pneumonia and a partially collapsed lung. And to this day I thing he is much more susceptible to colds and bronchitis. Sending healing vibes for sure. I bet homemade soup will be perfect.

Rae I was so tired after birding that I needed a long nap. And thankfully I can nap. Your evening sounds wonderful and relaxing. Hoping for good news on new computer.

Jean have fun at the meeting. And glad it has warmed up. And my heated jacket is one of the best presents I have ever gotten.

Have a great day all.

Good morning, ladies. I'm sitting in the LR at my little computer table, it seems weird LOL. Normally I would be downstairs in my office on the PC down there. A bonus is that I can watch the big screen and catch up on some shows on the pvr. I don't have any work at all until next week and even then it will be about an hour or two a day if that, unless my client decides to send a bit more, knowing the other doctor is away and I am available. It would be nice to get a bit extra work. But I am going to use my time wisely. I am going to set a schedule for myself. A few hours in the morning to go online, then a few household chores and then tax/paper work. Around lunch time I'll get Taz out for a walk and then leave a few hours in the afternoon to do whatever I want. I'll call the computer guy later this morning to find out what's happening. I dread the call b/c I don't know what to expect. Fingers crossed.

Chris - I don't know how you keep your sanitary dealing with all the paperwork and phone calls you have to make. I like 30 Rock too. Have't seen the OA though.

Trudy - how terrible for your DH. Glad you put your foot down and insisted he stay home to recover. I luckily haven't had a bout in years but I do remember how sick I was the times I had pneumonia in the past. What kind of soup are you making?

Nancy - my hubs is as bad as your son LOL. He will laze around and then as soon as I say I am going out, he wants me to run errands for him, when he could have gone anytime by himself. I never used to nap but I have to admit, sometimes it feels so good to curl up on the couch and snooze.

Jean - glad your weather isn't too cold. We are the opposite, colder than usual and everything is icy. Have a good meeting today.

I'm getting a coffee refill now, am going to get a bit of scrapping done. What a nice way to start my day :) Have a great day, everyone.

Hi ladies... weird that I beat all of you here today LOL.

Rae - it is like prairie cold here today and I am not looking forward to going out today at all. I keep thinking that I should be swimming my laps, but I know the pool will be crazy with all the new years resolution swimmer lol. (that lasts about 3 wks)

Chris - I forgot to mention that DH and I have been watching OA and have seen about 6 episodes now, we are hooked!! LOL

Jean - Lucky you that the temps are not so bad where you are!

Nancy - Yup time for your son to be on his own LOL!! Sure hope my DH doesn't end up with a partially collapsed lung Yikes!! He will be going for x-rays tomorrow!

Enjoy the day ladies, my goodness the gallery is bursting with pages today!!
