You will *never* believe what I did yesterday. I swear that I really did this. Not lying. For real. :biggrin1:
I took a nap.
Ok, you all can get up off of the floor now. It wasn't for long and I didn't actually sleep but I rested. (And the world did NOT end!!!)
Caitlyn and I brought Heather to the vet and I just love them there so much. They really make it as easy as possible. I didn't think that I was going to be upset, but when they brought us into the "comfort room" all of the other times I had been in there flashed back. Then I put my head on the carrier and sobbed. But damn, the past few weeks have been really hard on me physically and emotionally. I needed to rest and regroup.
Cait had the brilliant idea that I should reread "Hyperbole and a Half" which has to be the funniest book ever written. I read a few chapters and laughed a lot, then had to bring the book to the dinner table to read some parts out loud even though the kids have read it and Gary has heard me read it to him too. Now that we have Whisky, certain parts about the dogs are even funnier. ound:
I have to food shop this morning and I hate having to do that in the rain. But at least it isn't snow.
Cait and I are bringing Clover in for her post-op recheck so that will be fun and will "reset" my memories of the vet to happier ones.
Wishing you all of the best today!
