The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
It's a Tuesday that feels like a Monday :)
My alarm went off and Gary must not have noticed. He rolled over and told me to go back to sleep. Wish I could have! It looks like it is going to be one of those days where I wish I could just stay in bed, cuddling with the puppies and a good book.

I finished A Curious Beginning and started Finder's Keepers by Stephen King. Listening to Every Fifteen Minutes. That is always good.
I worked more on these photos and had a great idea for using my paper scrap albums for dates. (took me long enough to think of it). Many of the pages had dates, but if they didn't I could figure out the year based on the placement. That helped. After finished what I think is all of 2003, the first album that feel apart, I am going through my computer, finding the Folder that the scanned versions are and adding the year to the metadata.

I have to think of this as along term project, rather than something that I have to get done yesterday, which is my typical MO.

After I get ready for my food shopping excursion tomorrow, I want to reward myself with some scrapping. But even though I am literally surrounded by photos, I just feel no creative spark. :(

I hope that you are all bundled in, warm and cozy wherever you are!

(For Kat!)

Kat! You poor thing! It is bad enough to feel sick like that, and even worse when you are not at home. Hope that you are much better today. Do you have to go to work or can you take it easy today? *snorts* Yeah, right!
Is Haddie doing ok with her knee?

Trudy- I hate power cords!!!! Like last week- when I cleaned behind my desk and knock one out and had no idea which one or where it was and my little T-Rex arms couldn't reach anything! Scott uses bread ties to identify which cord goes where in his room- he has a lot of stereo equipment/speakers and hates the mess too.
I am 100% with you on the no scrap energy. Maybe you will get your spark today too!
Oh wow, that is crazy about your SIl and her heart. As someone who deals with a lot of inflammation, I can relate to that pain, (my Rh factor is always crazy high) and I hope that the Pred. and other Rx helps without too many side effects. *fingers crossed that the meds work quickly so she can enjoy the grands*

Kat- so happy to hear that you are feeling better- I loved Rae's OLW challenge :)

Rae- Am I friends with you on FB? I am so rarely on other than Oscraps and a quick run though in the mornings. I will have to see if I am so I can see the pics.
Bet that Taz is very disappointed about the new popcorn machine. My dogs love popcorn and if they knew that popcorn could fly out at them, they would park themselves right under it.
My pups need their nails clipped too and Ray will stay still, for the most part. Princess J throws a fit and even with Gary and I tag teaming her, its never successful. you could say that it is successful for her b/c she doesn't get her nails clipped. LOL
I wish I could find a local groomer that takes walk ins. I never know how I will fee day to day so appt's get rough. I could go down to the Pet Smart but that is a half hour away, again- rough for me to know how I am going to feel.

Sandra-- good for you with the school job!!! Is this the same district as your kids or one close enough that delays/closings won't affect you?
I am following the weather and they are talking about a huge storm possibility for Fri-Sat, looks like we might have to consider that for a first time this year.
Happy birthday, Piper!!!

T- this has been a really rough couple of weeks for the entertainment biz and fans. :(

good morning... wanted to check in real quick... will have to leave soon for work...

Piper has honors band auditions tonight and Matthew has a cub scout skating event at Champs... its gonna be a busy day...

Chris - it is the same school district as the kids... so delays/snow days I'm off... but its not a salaried position so when school's closed, I don't get paid :( I saw the possibility of a big storm... tonight into tomorrow we're looking at 1-3 inches, but I'm seeing models showing up to 17 inches on Friday/Saturday... which would really suck... not just because of the snow but because my mom and sister were coming for a birthday celebration for Piper... so I'm hoping the models are wrong LOL..

hoping everyone has a great day!

Morning everyone. Aww, thanks for the Crystal Light, Chris.

So, freakin' freezing here today - with the wind chill, they're saying it's about zero degrees. But, c'mon, once you reach, what, 10 or 15, does zero really make that much of a difference?! LOL Cold is cold. Watching for the snow storm at the end of the week - it's our office holiday party and we were planning to have a great shin-dig in Washington DC ... now we wait and see. Sandra, I hope Piper's birthday celebrations and the family visit don't get cancelled - maybe just postponed?

My office is like a refrigerator today. I just walked into the one right next to me, as we share a thermostat for the heat, and his office is worse!! I've kept my door open, in the hopes that I can get a little of the heat from the hallway. Right now, I'm thinking I'll move to the staff kitchen or the conference room as both of those areas are nice 'n' toasty. The heat is there, but the rebalancing isn't done, so there are pockets of cold. I don't need to get re-bound sickness. Ugh.

Morning ladies... A bit foggy and we are supposed to be getting more rain today,
weather-rain-smiley.gif
so I will keep the Umbrella handy

Not much on the agenda for today, except for swimming laps and preparing a few things to take for our little get away this Friday. DH and I are off to the West Coast to stay at Crystal Cove and explore the West Coast, long walks on the beach and many hiking trails, it will be great to be outside and breathing in all of that wonderful salt air!! Hot tub on the deck of our Cabin, so we can soak our sore muscles at the end of the day. It will be so nice!! So I have my new rubber boots and raincoat all ready to go, we are hoping that we might even get a great storm while we are there! People come from all over the world to see the Storms on the West Coast, the food is amazing too I can't wait!! Its funny, most people are anxious to go somewhere warm, but we are looking forward to this somewhat chilly experience.

Chris - It sounds like you are making great progress on your photos! Yes take your time with it, it really doesn't have to be something that you need to do overnight LOL. I hope that you find that spark to get you going on your scrapping again!! My pages seem to all look the same lately, no new creativeness in me and it takes me forever to finish my pages! I stayed up late last night doing a tribute page to Glen Frey, but it did not turn out the way I had hoped  Oh well I guess the beauty of digital is its easy to have a do over!!

Sandra - Keeping my fingers crossed that you do not get all of that snow!

It will be a busy day for you and Piper today!!

Kat - That is horrible that your office is still so dang cold!! Hoping that you do not go through the stomach troubles again!! Especially at work Ewww!!
toalite-smiley.gif
LOL I just had to add that smiley!! Are you able to bring a small space heater into your office? Hoping that your weather is not horrible for your office party get together! it would be a shame if you have to re-schedule!!

Ok I am going to try to get some kind of a page done again today, hopefully with a bit more enthusiasm then I have had lately!! Then I am out to the pool. Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Good morning, ladies. I was out on my porch a few minutes after waking up this morning, to take a pic of a tree across the street. There's been a challenge going around FB to challenge your friends to take a photo a day for a week of your world. A friend challenged me to do it so I popped outside to take a stark b/w shot of the early morning sky with the trees. Sometimes my neighbors must wonder about me. They see me out with my camera and I know they wonder what the heck is she taking a picture of LOL. Sometimes I'm on my belly on the ground, or crouched down low behind a bush, it's gret exercise LOL.

Today is work, chores and errands. A boring but hopefully productive day ahead.

Chris - friend me on FB the next time yuo go on there. Tell us what you think of Finders Keepers. I've got it but haven't read it yet. Im still working on the Penn Cage book from last week.
Kat - nothing worse than trying to work when cold. I have a plug-in electric afghan that I lay over my lap in the office when it's chilly. It really helps b/c if my fingers are too cold I can't type fast enough.
Trudy - that get-away sounds wonderful. I would enjoy that too.
Sandra - fingers crossed for the snow this week and that it doesn't hamper the weekend plans. Sounds like you have the busy life of a mom.

Have a great day, everyone!

Moved into the conference room to work today - toasty, now. Think we discovered the problem and hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow: old window seals, for one.

Had to jump back on quickly - Rae, you still around?! A WW-friendly foodie find if you like hummus. I do, so when I saw this, I was all like, "OMG, I just HAVE to try this!" ... Sweet & Spicy Black Bean Hummus (with a spicy roasted corn relish topping).

:jaw:

Love! Just enough kick for me (I love spicy foods) ... and I love black beans ... and 1 SP for 2 tablespoons. A little fiber and protein boost, too, which is a nice added bonus.
