hellO, O-zies!
How are all of you doing today? I am hanging in there. I was able to get a few things done around the house yesterday so slowly, I am getting myself in the real world.
OTOH, it seems that I can't even get a FP order placed without anxiety and guilt. Heh. I called and spoke to one woman, was told my bags would be ready to pick up at noon. A half-hour later, the woman who runs the pantry called to ask if I placed two orders. Nope- just the one. She says my bags are ready with my number on them so I run over to pick them up. Wow, so many bags- four of them. I breathed a huge sigh of relief, it was going to help whittle my grocery list a lot. Some of the stuff I had asked for were in there, a few things weren't but some extras- chicken nuggets, frozen pretzels, chips, cream cheese- I was over the moon. After I put everything away, a third woman calls to remind me to pick my bags up, I said that I did, my phone number was on all of the bags, and told her where the bags I took were located. There were two different orders there. After I hang up, I start to think that maybe the bags I took were for that second order, whoever that was for. I called the woman back and left a message, never heard back from her so I am guessing it is all OK. But dang, I feel guilty that I might have inadvertently taken another family's groceries.

The rest of the day was laundry- Gary gave J and W baths (They needed them!!) so I stripped the bed at the same time. I looooove clean sheets on a bed. Scott called to ask me questions about some pictures of us when we were at Disney in 2000 which brought back some fun memories. He and Leah are coming back to NJ today. They have had a nice time holed up in PA and have been watching the Game Show Network which we don't have here.

I slept sort of OK last night although, at one point, I was trying to fall back asleep- and I *swear* I wasn't dreaming at the time- but "heard" a creepy voice say "Turn around and look at me, Chris."
Um NO!!!!!!! 100% NOT turning around!
I am sure I was in that state of falling asleep, everything was black and quiet when I heard it, but let me tell you- I sure as heck woke up fast!:scared:

Not much happening today, I think I need to clean out the cabinet underneath the kitchen island. Everything is just shoved in there and falls out every time you open the door.
That will be my big project for the day. Whee.

What good plans do you have? Whatever they are, I hope that the day is a happy one!

Felis- yes too cold for a garden but I have all of that yarn... :D
I will have to listen a little later-- but I saw Willie Nelson so it has to be good. Thx!

Nancy- the sun was out briefly here in the morning then it got cold and grey. As of this moment, I see the sun, hope it sticks around. I made it up to 4'11" but the bones are shrinking so I am down an inch. Gary is 5'11" but unfortunately both kids got my short genes. Scott is only 5'5". We are so used to being around each other, it doesn't seem odd- but when we (used to) go out in public, it is really obvious! I like your perspective that we are more environmentally acceptable! hahaha!!!!!!!!
How is your DH's college handling the Spring Semester? Has he gotten the vaccine yet?
I am afraid there is much more to come in the coming week. :(

Does he spend his week thinking up things to do?
Trudy- I think Nancy might be on to something!
Sounds like you had a wonderful visit with the ILs and good news about your SIL getting vax'd. I hope that the oven gets fixed soon. Ugh!
We don't have CBS All Acess- I knew that I had seen some commercials for it but we never actually watched- guess that is why. Now I am seeing commercials for Clarice- I wonder how that will be. We recently finished Hannibal on Netflix, they are really rebooting the Silence of the Lambs characters.

Kay- that sounds like a horrible night's sleep, hope you did better last night. Yay for being part of the short club too :D

Cheryl- You are good- my pups really need some exercise but it is still too cold for me to make any attempts. They are behaving badly- barking at everything. I need to get them to play more, burn off some energy. Give Daisy some pets!

Rae- I have been staying away from FB but I did happen to see a bunch of very adorable and fluffy pictures of Bella- she is sooooooooooooo (to infinity) cute!

LINDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yayayayayayayyayay!!!! So happy to see you here (in case you can't tell!). I cannot believe how grown up your kids are- both of them driving??? My goodness...

There is Rae! That makes me so happy to hear, that you are doing well, that Bella and Taz get along, it has to be great for Jen too. How is Bailey doing, hopefully recovering? Hugs to all of you!

Linda- you are going to take over my post count in no time-- you used to be way ahead of me before you left. :pound: :ranger:

Just a quick note. We had a wonderfully sunny day Saturday though I had two different online meetings and could only partly enjoy. Today was at one time predicted to be sunny but isn't, still we're going birding. Wishing you all a good day with or without the sunshine.

Morning, gals. Had a good night's sleep and woke up feeling much better this morning. Brrrr... it is only 19* so not going outside until it is warmer!!! Grocery shopping is getting to the "must do" but will miss the senior hours.

Chris, you sure have had a time with your shopping. Glad you got the FP order so quickly and with some 'extras' thrown in. Hope the other store's on-line order goes more smoothly the next time. Glad that Scott and Leah had a good time in PA.

Welcome back, Linda!!! Had to LOL over your post count. Yep... you are up there with Chris' numbers. So good to see you popping in to chat. BTW - left a message for you on my Enchiladas LO in the gallery. I cut the tortillas to make chips to use to scoop up the guacamole. The ones for the enchiladas are left whole. And no... you can't use smell as a recipe. LOL Yes, I taught my kids how to make them by having them watch/smell as I did them. Had to laugh as mine are much spicier than theirs as DH and I love it hotter. I did make it milder when they were younger but went back to the spicier version once it was just DH and I.

Rae, that little puppy is so cute! Great LO with him. He looks so cute and cuddly. Don't blame you for spending lots of time with him and taking lots of photos.

Trudy... you are dedicated to bake in the toaster oven. You made me hungry for some banana loaf bread. Have a lot of frozen bananas - they got too ripe - so may pull a package out and make a loaf or two.

Cheryl, thanks for the corrected link. Beautiful blessing.

Well, the house heat is up enough to get my shower. Better get busy or I will end up having another PJ day.

Its almost the afternoon and I am still in my PJ's LOL I have been on face time with Heather and both boys for almost 2 hours!! Yikes the time has flown by and now I need to get ready to go to the pool and have a quick something to eat before I head out. Sorry not much time for personals today. :sorry: I just wanted to say hey to everyone this morning.

Chris - Nice that you got so many extras at the food pantry! Hope that your other grocery order goes well! Yes I think Nancy is right and my DH thinks all week long on what things he can keep us busy with on the weekends! I will have to catch up with all of you tomorrow as to the continuing saga of my stupid wall oven!! :mmph: Hope that you enjoy getting into your clean sheets tonight!

Jean- How nice to see you here again! Sounds like you are very busy with your on-line meetings!! Enjoy your birding outing!!

Kay - Sounds chilly at your place in the mornings! Hope you get some banana bread/loafs made today! Mine did not turn out as nice as when I bake them in the wall oven.

Linda - How great to see you here again!! We have missed you! Hope you find some time to try to post again after lunch, darn I hate that when I lose a long post!! It happens to me all the time LOL.

Ok I am feeling a bit peckish so better get something in the tummy! Have a great day everyone! Will catch up with all of you tomorrow!

Hello my lOvelies!
Here we go,
new year, the same old me. Why it's so difficult to break the pattern? I'm not able to put in one twenty-four hours period (do you have specific word for day and night the whole?! We said something as daynightish, or kind of, but it's specific word. However!), I'm not able to put in one date: work, hobbies and kiddos (aka pets)!!! I am overworked and backward! And messed everything! Today I was so late with giving Middleton his diner that I found him keeping his empty plate with his mouth. It was so cute, but he dropped it before to can take pics.
In case that this is confusing let me explain, the year start with lots of holidays and celebrations here, so the first week was free, but they gave chance to those who want to start from Friday instead Monday. I was there and it was left few free spots, so I volunteered to get additional work too. I'm did this multiple times before, but after the 'vacation' I suddenly found myself very slow and uncoordinated. I barely finished the first spot, and had to postpone the second one. Exposed myself, does not keep my word and probably anger the supervisor, sooo yes, epic fail! Will see the consequences in our next meeting.
It's not even necessary to mention that wasn't able to scrap at all, and I'm not satisfied from the quality of my house cleaning I did during these days. :frusty:

BUT then I watched the news and last two days have floods and serious damages in so many places at my country! Fortunately no human victims! But still it's very bad and sad situation!
I'm so selfish, some people have real problems!

The comedians I was shared with you before, have new hilarious video where he say: "So far I don't like the trailer for 2021. Can I have my money back, please! I want to unsubscribe as this season is even worse than the previous" :pound: I expected it, and I'm prepared that this year will sucks!
My town is not in danger area, but rain is not stop from few days and our roof start to dripping. It's a new roof, my dad replace it before few years, and now, this summer will have to re fix it, darn! Once when I was complaining (I think from the lack of love) Trudy was told me that we are lucky to be healthy and have roofs above your heads, so the life is not so bad. Ummm, does that dripping roof puts me in some starting level of 'life sucks'? No, definitely not the life, but the year! Low level of 'this year sucks'! :drama:
Actually I write this with lots of sarcasm and big smile, it's pits that the writing text take from the expressions of the communication. We deeply sorry for the affected people so we don't even dare to complain, and even feels kind of grateful! :noidea:

OK, let's do the personals for the last few days!

Trudy, I'm so happy to read that you was able to see your sisters and in other day your ILs, hope this is cherish you a little bit! Don't worry this summer you will be able to visit your kids! Wait, wait, I even can see in the bright future, yes I can easily predict that you'll even bought them new puppy! :tongue1: Hope the swimming is uplift your mood!

Linda, welcome back! Is it nice or difficult to get back to scraping? What you makes with your new free time, any new hobbies?

Kay, oh, I'm still not commenting on these pages, but Will fix this immediately! It was so interesting to see them, I'm never tried Enchiladas. Umm, the nail growing slow and its place that is washed so often, so I'm not surprised at all that your finger is still irritated. Did you get used to keep it more carefully, you probably will?! Sorry for your pain!

Jean, so happy to see you pop-in here! Enjoy the nice weather and your birding! And please come to share impresion!

Chris, I strongly hope that Lyme is not the reason, as the things you described as exhaustion, foggy brain, demotivated, comes also from lack of sleep! I'm also had this kind of delusional as the creepy voice and irrational fears when my sleep is interrupted and this play with my OCD and in your case the anxiety. It makes it deeper and stronger, so observe yourself and I sort of hope that the reason is this! And you will can fix it with one good sleep and cup of chamomile tea! OK, honestly, the tea don't do anything, but british loves to offer tea in every case of problems, so it's makes me sound more classy!
OMG, you are also tiny, like a real little fairy! The extra weight is normal for the winter especially with your ankle! Please don't put your attention on that again!  It will gone once when we start to gardening and make spring walks! I want to exercise more too, as I don't have other excuses than laziness. You know how they says: "Keep Your Eyes on Your Goals". So I'm following the channel of two boys who are professional bodybuilder and life coach for daily motivation! But here's the tricky part, in my language 'goal' is ''an aim or desired result'', but in the same way we write also the word "naked"! So I'm not sure did I'm there only for motivation or just to keep my eyes on something beautiful!!
I'm sorry, this is just an awful sexist humor! Shame on me! I was bad influenced by the nasty sense of humor of one of my british friends! In fact I deeply respect these instructors and like their professionalism and the energy of their motivation posts! Just I'm trying to make fool of me, so to makes you laugh!

Cheryl  !

Rae, it's so nice to hear that you are happy with your new puppy and she is good distraction!

Nancy, enjoy your quiet home and Me time! Luther is such a sweetie and cute with the other dogs! I'm jealous! Middleton is disaster and the others yelling at me that I'm not good in learning him , he listen only my dad and this drives me crazy! But I love him so much, I'm just too easy to hook up! LOL

Chris, so glad that you got a good order at the Food Pantry. And yes, my kids have grown up. But so have Scott and Cait. My goodness where does the time go? Sounds like a scrapbook page.
Kay, so I wish I could try your enchiladas. And fresh tortilla chips with guacamole. Sounds delicious.
Trudy, I’m so glad to see you. So glad to have a chance to catch up!
