I am aggravated with Firefox and I am not crazy about Chrome. Forgive me if you see some wonky things in this post as I try to figure out a few Chrome extensions LOL

Posting this to see if the image copied....
Ok, it did.
Now let me see if I can copy links...
[(No Title)](https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=22) Nope. :(
"Chatter" - <https://ozone.oscraps.comforumdisplay.php?f=22>
Nope again.
I don't know why Chrome doesn't have better Copy Links and Images extensions. Maybe it does and I am not finding them when I search the store. *throws hands in the air*

Anyway- let me get back to our regular programming.
Happy New Year!!!!
Who made it to midnight? Not me. My "treat" was a second glass of wine with some Fontina and crackers. I love fontina and my brother got me a chunk for Christmas. I was in bed by 9.
I took down and pack up all of the ornaments, Christmas dishes, and 95% of the decorations. The few things that I have left to put away have boxes somewhere in the attic and I am debating between trying to find them or throw them into a new box and not worrying about it, until I can't find things next year :p

I made a new pasta dish for dinner- easy and very good. It was "garlic bread pasta"- lots of fresh garlic melted in butter, tossed with bread crumbs and Italian seasoning over cavatappi. Both kids said that they love garlic, bread, and pasta so what could be bad about it?
I am going to go food shopping this morning and I am guessing it won't be too crowded.

That is about it for me. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Kay- nice to see you back on the avi again. I need to change mine back today. Hope it is warmer today than it has been. We are weirdly warm-- not that I am complaining! My biggest complaint with Nora Roberts is that her books are formulaic. I guess after reading them for decades, and writing them that long- it is bound to happen.
Enjoy the new book by Kay Hooper!
One of the blankets I got is a hooded robe/blanket with pockets. I probably won't get much use out of it myself, but I gave to to Cait for now-- she can wear it in her room and the rats will like to snuggle in the pockets. I was wearing a fuzzy sweatshirt yesterday and had all 3 of them snuggled inside.

Hi Fran- much luck and love to you in the new year!

Nancy- Between you and Kay- I think you have scrapped more pages in the last couple of days than I did in the last 2 months!
How did the Devils do yesterday?

Trudy- Hope that your Gary made a full, miraculous recovery and you danced the night away. If not, I hope that he is home feeling better and that you stay germ-free.

Kay- drat! Sorry to hear that the book wasn't in. It would have been cozy to read and watch the snow.

Jean- How fun for the H&S to play at the center.
The champagne flutes must be very special to you-- have a wonderful dinner today.
Sorry that I scared you for not being here. I am such a permanent fixture :blah: :D
The rats are just cuter and cuter every day! I want to be able to start scrapping some photos of them soon.

Rae- looking forward to your 52 Challenge! Did you enjoy your evening?

Stacey- yes-- here's to an easier year ahead *clinks glasses* How was the theme park if you went?

Great news, Trudy!!!! Hope that you had a great time
I wish all of the same to you and the rest of the Oooos!! Love and hugs to everyone!

Happy New Year to everyone... Back to waking up way too early... 4:30 AM is a terrible time to awake. I only got about 2" of snow yesterday/last night. Our city gets canyon winds out of the mountain to the east - which pushes the snow away for the city... what everyone calls 'the donut hole' for snow. More snow all around us with highway closures, etc. The wind should ease off around noon - then we will be getting more snow in town for the rest of today and part of tomorrow. Haven't been up to freezing for a high for several days.

Yes, I switched my avatar yesterday. This is the first photo I have had taken in almost a year. Had one of my Red Hat sisters take it at the Christmas party in mid-December. Had a hard time remembering how to get it small enough in PSE to fit. I am still playing with my trail version of PSE2019 - have about another 2 weeks on it, then will register the one I bought.

Chris, I use Chrome all the time and haven't found it hard... much prefer it to Firefox or Edge. Hope you figure out what you are trying to do. Oh, I think I would love the hooded robe/blanket! Glad C is liking it for the rats to hide in pockets. LOL Yes, getting the decorations down and packed away is a chore. Several years ago, I used the largest file cards to make labels on all my Christmas bins/boxes with what is in each one. Sure has made it simple to find what I want/need in the following years. Most are in plastic bins that stack - so I have the labels on one end so I can read them and only pull out the bins I need. Sure has saved me lots of time and frustration.

Trudy, was happy to read that Gary felt well enough for you to make the dinner/dance last evening. Hope you had a wonderful time.

Rae, like the 52 challenge... will have to see what I can do with it. Yes, loving the new challenges this month/year. Haven't started any LOs for them but the Heritage one I host.

Ooops... finished my cup of coffee so will close this out and grab another cup plus something to eat. CYL

Dashing back in to say "IT IS SNOWING!!!". The winds have dropped and have over another inch of snow in less than 30 minutes. No telling how much we may end up with. The temp has dropped 6 degrees since I got up... now down to 25! Digging out a sweatshirt to help keep me warm. :fireplace:

Happy New Year, girls!
Let's ignore the signs and make it fabolous! :champagne:champagne

I can literally copy and paste from Chris, this: We don't do anything for NYE. Since I was a kid, it has always been a bit of a depressing holiday. It was fun when it was a big party when I was younger. Now it is just another night.
I often promises next year to go on a concert which are organizing in the square. But actually this is one of these the little promises, they don't mean much. And concrete this time I have an awful flu, with lack of energy and not much excitement to dance. I left on warm at home and I barely stayed to 3am. But it was nice family diner, only us, but with champagne and mom's special potatoes meal, and we watched the fireworks through the windows.

Chris, I'm whit Chrome and found it much easier than Explorer. I'm not sure what is Images extensions, but you will find all the links with right click on the mouse onto the pic. This pasta dish sounds delicious. You all surprised me how quick takes the Christmas decoration down, we keep it at least week more.

Kay, please send some snow to here. We have almost spring weather, so unusual! Get few warm sweaters and have fun inside! I always kidding that in winter we have to wear all seasons at once: summer top, with spring t-shirt, autumn shirt, and winter sweaterS! :tea:

Hugs and kisses to you all! :cofbath:

Happy New Year! I made it to midnight and saw the ball come down in Times Square. My son and I took a NYE selfie while my DH slept LOL. I really like seeing the new year besides it was not the new year while the USA was playing Finland and winning. Did not get to bed until around 1:30 but it was worth it as my team won. Saw that Canada lost to Russia WOW. But they are still in it. Now on the the one and out games which start tomorrow. The USA will play the Czecks and my favorite Devils play Patrik Elias is now an assistant coach on his home country's team. Pretty cool. Today I am watching the hockey game from Notre Dame. My Devils were awesome yesterday. They won 4-0 over the Canucks. They held the presumptive rookie of the year Elias Pettersson off the score sheet pretty remarkable. My goalie Mackenzie Blackwood had his second shut out in a row which is a record for NJ by a rookie. Everyone wants to compare him to our Martin Brodeur as they both wore 29 in their first game and both have the same initials. Poor kid seems a bit early to be compared to a hall of fame goalie. But he has been great and we got scoring from others besides just Taylor Hall who is still out with injury.

Chris good luck at the store! My son is going for me yea! The rats curling in your sweat shirt sounds so funny.

Felis love the champagne thanks. Funny how people feel so differently about wether to stay up or not! Have a great new year! And we too are having spring weather in the high 50s.

Trudy I cant wait to hear about the dance! Must have been such fun! I hope a page is in the future.

Rae hope you have fun with B and J.

Kay wow I know how it is when the snow starts falling fast amazing how fast it accumulates. Sorry you did not get the book. I love that you live in a snow donut hole! LOL

Jean I know what you mean about doing the bird count for so long and that at some point the next birders have to take over but still I missed it. I am going to be working hard to do it next year. Hope the weather holds!

Have a great start to the new year! I hope I remember to write 2019 on checks lol

Happy New Year, ladies! I made it til midnight (barely) but did doze off for a few seconds here and there are we watched the 3rd episode of Hard Sun (cop show with an end of the world element to it). We had finished Channel Zero The Butcher Block earlier in the night. Dinner was easy, sloppy joes with buns for D and over steamed broccoli and baked sweet potato for me. I ate the last of my low carb desserts and enjoyed a bag of organic popcorn while we watched the shows. My back is aching quite a bit, almost constant, but not a lot of pain, just discomfort. I put some analgesic cream on it and it took the edge off it. I think the cold is aggravating the arthritis. But its not bad enough to stop me from jogging later with Taz. I'll wait til mid day when it warms up a bit. I want to get out there today b/c we have a lot of rain coming for 2 days. I'm going to scrap a bit and maybe be able to finish my book The Passage. Then I'll be ready for the tv show premiere mid month.

Today I'm relaxing. D is on call so he might have to go out to work but I think it'll be fairly quiet today for him (I hope). I'm going to do some meal planning. I used to do this and then got away from it this yr. So now I'm going to go back to meal prepping for the week and will do up a schedule of recipe/meal planning for at least 3-4 days/wk. I just emptied out the cabinet of some glassware that will go to VV next week. No sense keeping things that don't get used and have no sentimental value to me. It felt good to start off the new year by decluttering a bit.

I'm going to relax now for a bit, do a few scrap pages and watch tv on my laptop.

Chris - I'm the opposite of you, I'm not crazy about firefox, preferring chrome. I have a few robes with hoods and pockets. I don't wear the hoods but do like the pockets (for when I stand in the basement doorway trying to coax Taz out at night. I often have to step outside the doorway (luckily there is a small overhang to protect me from rain/snow but I appreciate having pockets to stick my hands into for those few minutes of being out there at night). I'm sure the store will be quiet today, I can't imagine too many people wanting to go out for groceries.

Kay - labeling your bins is a good idea. Stay warm and enjoy the pretty snow.

Felis - we don't have any snow either. It's the first year in many that there hasn't been any at all. I hope we get a little bit this month. I don't want to shovel it but I do want to see the pretty white dusting over everything.

Nancy - we took a selfie too but earlier in the evening b/c I knew by midnight we'd both be half asleep. I laughed when you said "write 2019 on cheques" lol. I always make that mistake for the first week or so of the new year.

Trudy - hope you and G had fun last night. How is he feeling?

Hope everyone has a great first day of 2019. I'm going to go scrap a bit now. Looking forward to it.

Happy New Year, everyone! Much cooler today, gray, windy but not raining. DH is watching the only bowl game on regular TV and working on the first look at Puzzle Up. We had a nice dinner out last night and had our champagne at midnight. I'm with Felis in not taking down decorations until at least the 12 day of Christmas. I really like to enjoy the few we have. But then we don't put them out early either. December has gone and now it'll be back to the regular genealogy meetings and obligations, oh well.

Chris, we live on a totally different clock. You're in bed before we're home from dinner! No wonder you're up early. Hope the shopping went well.

Kay, how interesting to live in a snow donut-hole, but sounds like you were getting it for real later. Glad you are ready to stay warm inside.

Felis, hope you enjoyed some champagne, but so sorry you are sick. Wishing you well soon.

Nancy, we saw the Devils score and knew you were one happy fan. Know you're having fun watching today. Guess you're counting down the next three weeks to a new knee.

Rae, how nice to have a relaxing day! Hope D doesn't get called out. Hope you back loosens up and you can enjoy getting out with Taz.

Trudy, hope you enjoyed the evening and are having a nice day with the ILs.
