Ugh, groan and grumble.
My body does not like these barometric pressure drops. I hurt all over. There is some snow falling but hopefully it isn't going to amount to much. I guess it is a good thing that I don't have to actually be anywhere today. This is really getting old- so done with the "not working BS." Hmmmph!
Yesterday the windshield repair people came back to look at the windshield that was installed last week. The people did a crap job and there are leaks in the seals. Of course they have to order the glass and seals and will be back tomorrow to replace the whole darn thing again. Thankfully, it is all covered under the one insurance deductible, so there is *that.*
Gary and I did some updates on our taxes- well, Scott's taxes and he will get a small refund of what he had deducted from working. We told him to put it away for when he needs new brakes or whatever for his car. Scott was asking about how much money we have saved (hysterical laughter, saved! As if!!) and was shocked to hear that he has more than we do. i felt like a total failure as a parent, not that he meant it that way at all, but none of this was in my Life's Plan. Is it ever in anyone's?
I saw online an article about a new species of the Borellia bacterium found in ticks that causes the main symptoms to be nausea and vomiting as opposed to musculo-skeletal. That describes Gary's - and to a lesser extent, Cait's- to a T. Of course the infected ticks are "only" found in the Midwest, just like Bb is only found in CT, so there is no way that Gary could have that species. /snark
Either way, I am going to ask both the kids' LLMD and mine about the possibilities of that being an issue for them.
Not much else going on here, prepping for food shopping is my priority for today. Cursing snow/cold weather. Wandering from room to room, wondering WTH I was looking for. Same old, same old.
Please have a good day and send some good vibes my way so I don't get too down and discouraged.
