I am honestly shocked at how quickly Feb is passing along. January felt like 10 months in one. Feb felt like only 1 month. It is an improvement.
(Side note, and not trying to be political-- but our news cycles in the US have been utter insanity since last year so that it is exhausting waking up every morning trying to process what happened the day before and knowing it will be yet another day of insanity ahead. Exhausting!)

I think that I got just about everything on my to-do list yesterday all crossed off. I even did yoga poses for neck and shoulder pain. I wasn't very successful because W is *worse* that Kibs was when I tried to yoga in the past. She would, being Kibs, try to lie on top of me and purr. Whisky.., OMG she was on top of me, licking my face, jumping on me like she wanted to play. Nibbled on my nose! Today, I will try again but I will close the door and hope for the best.

I have to go food shopping this morning, then I want to work on some things for here. Since March is in 2 days I have to get my Challenge prepped and maybe scrap some pages for the other ones. But that means I need to get out of her as early as I can. pfft.

At least the weather will be decent. (Sorry Trudy and Rae!) Sunny and 50* - Scott will be outside for his ecology class and he is looking forward to that. That kid is like me, so much happier in the fresh air and with plants.

Trudy- Is your weather going to be any warmer than yesterday and the day before? You are such a good caretaker of the hummingbirds. Look at you-- needing new, smaller jeans. Fantastic! Hope that you had good luck and lots of fun shopping.
I saw that photo of your wedding, so sweet!! 41 years is an accomplishment, and a Happy Anniversary to you both *hearts*

Rae- I was able to look at all of the pictures on my computer of Taz and the snow. My phone did not do them justice. They were amazing and I just adore Taz's tail! It must be soft to stroke. Ray has the softest ears, but Taz's tail seems like it would be heaven to pet (as long as he would let you, I guess hee hee!)
We did TWD marathon last night too. I think the new episode was done well. I got choked up at the blue handprints.

Jean- bet it felt good for your DH to get out with his buds for Hum and Strum :)
I hope that Ray is OK too, god knows the last thing I need is another surgery for a pet. It could *fingers crossed* just be another old age thing. I forget that she is 12 sometimes.

Felis- aw, how sweet that you enjoy the snow so much. I am so blessed that Cait and I -- and my mom- can all laugh like that together. But yes, I wish my mom wouldn't worry so much. But that is who she is and it won't change.
Those hedgehog ages were so cute!

Any update on Quilliam's wheel? I hope it is working again for him.

xoxoxo!

good morning - yes the sun is shining and the high in the 50s. Yesterday Luther and I had a great walk as we saw a pair of mallards, geese and 3 deer. You could tell Luther smelled the deer way before we saw them. They are so good at blending in to the woods. Then I watched the trading which was hysterical as there was one trade in the morning and then nothing much until right before 3 pm (the deadline) and then all the trades came in after 3 pm as there were so many trades in the cue. My girlfriend is a die hard NY Ranger fan and the Rangers traded her favorite player and now she is all done with hockey for the year and with the Rangers for a while. Her team has been good for so long that she does not know how to deal with a team that is losing. Now the Tampa Bay Lightning have her Rangers. I have been here with my team not making the playoffs for a long time LOL. My team picked up a player Pat Maroon who is a big body and should help. There are only 20 games left. Wow it went fast. My team still has to make the dreaded West coast trip which is always hard. It was interesting as teams that have been good for the past 10 years were sellers. There are cycles in all sports and now different teams are coming to the fore front.

Chris sounds like you are still on a high from your get away weekend. My son was so nice and went grocery shopping after dinner. yes he needed stuff but he picked up stuff I needed too! I made a dinner that your daughter would love. Purple prairie barley fried as if it was rice and then bok choy, garlic, ginger, carrots, eggs and then on top apples that were marinated in mirin and sesame oil. Well it had some spicy heat too and we all loved it! It was so something I would never ever think to cook. Purple prairie barley who knew there was such a thing. And the water you boil the barley in comes out purple. Any hope the grocery shopping goes well. Enjoy the sun and warmer temps.

Trudy loved the wedding photo and congrats on 41 years. That is a real accomplishment. We will be at 44 in May. Not sure where the time goes but it sure goes fast. Bet the steak dinner was awesome.

Rae OMgosh those photos of Taz in the snow where just awesome! I loved them! I wish I would have one more snow but it is almost March so I doubt that will happen. We are having rain later in the week. My son watched TWD and said he too was sad. I keep getting shocked by the loss of the main characters.

Jean that is awesome that your DH got to go back to his music.

Felis glad you got some good play time.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... I am having my coffee and then hitting the pool very early this morning in hopes that it is not so busy and I miss the lessons crowd. Wish me luck! It is a bit milder here this morning and actually light outside at 7am. Thank you all for the lovely messages about our anniversary! When I look back at those old photos I can't believe how young we were and wonder what the hell we were thinking when we picked out Brown Tuxedos??? LOL. Oh well we thought they were pretty cool back then. Ok I am outta here and will return after my laps

Aww, I'm so jealous that can see these pics you shared on FB :target: ! I can imagine Taz in the snow, but really curious about Trudy, husband and Brown Tuxedos!

I almost decided to not talk you today :) ! No, I just kidding.
I hope you're not bored from the winter, because nothing other not happened here. Today we made a snowman. Actually I did it till pets playing around. I can't remember when last I do this, years and years ago! But one of the task for my weekly project is "act like a child", so I couldn't imagine better way to do that. Will see it at this week page, probably at the weekend, but first have to finished previous. Afternoon was so sunny, really pleasure! I was go out, and met three dogs from the homeless pack. One of them, probably the youngest, makes circle around others, barking happy and stop a front of them, dig his head at the snow and spreads snows around. Then found one snowball and bite it, run around them till make it on a pieces. They looks so sweet! Probably suffering at the nights, but was relieved to see them happy at the sunny afternoon! Snow is always better than the rain, because when you are wet temperatures feels lower than they actual are. At snow you are at least dryly.

Chris, ouch I'm not make yoga last two days, guilty! I don't want to I shouldn't let to slow down, because I easy quit, so will count them like the two free days that I'm allowed weekly. Just right now I watch two local TV series, premieres for both so I catch them at air time and this confused my regime of life. You aren't asked, so ignore it if I'm intrude, but this is the exercises which I like because can do them sit on chair or even standing, I hope it's not placebo, but I really feels my shoulders better. Oh, yes Quilliam's wheelwas fixed quick. This morning he drives when I checked :) .

Nancy, I have to make parallel between sport and actor fans again and to say that if this is like your favorite actor to left the show before the end, so I totally understand your friend's feelings!

Trudy, have fun at the pool! Hope it's empty and only for you!

Jean and Rae, :hello: !

Well so much for thinking that the pool would be quieter early in the morning :mmph: it was busier than I have ever seen it. So I think that the best time for me to be there is around 9:15 or 9:30 It was just after 9:am when I left the pool and it was not as busy then. Who knows :noidea: Then when spring break is on it will be crazy busy at the pool with the kids all out of school. Oh well it is what it is and I just will have to suck it up and deal with the pool being busy. So when I got home I had a nice facetime with Heather and Hunter, he is finally over his cold. He is such a happy little boy! He makes my grandma heart sing!! It is sad that I don't get to talk to Mason as much anymore, but once in a while he asks to facetime us, so that is nice!

Chris - Yes I agree February has just flown by and January took forever! I am thrilled that I need smaller jeans, but I am having a horrible time trying to find ones that I really like. They seem to all be that new style of being too short in the legs. The consignment store that I wanted to go to was closed for some reason. She had a sign in the door saying that she would be back at 10am, but it was 11 am when I was there, so no idea where the heck she was or when she would be back. Oh well I will try again maybe tomorrow. Too funny that W is all over you when you are trying to do your yoga!! Hope you can get your shopping done without too much hassle, I need to look at some of the challenges and get some scrapping done too!

Nancy - Your weather sounds so nice! It is warmer here today and sunny, but oh man the wind is just ridiculous! It is supposed to be very rainy tomorrow, so probably no hike for me again tomorrow. I guess Bergeron will be MIA for a while now for the Bruins, he fractured his foot stopping that puck in the Leafs game. Darn!! Oh well hopefully they will get their act together and win this next game! Sorry your friend is giving up on her team, you can't always have a winning team though. Another amazing dinner for you and your family, who would have ever thought to put those ingredients together, not me!!

Felis - Are you able to be on Facebook? If so then send me a friend request and you will be able to see what you are missing. LOL it really isn't all that much. Here is the pic of DH and myself when we were married, DH now has a moustache that he refuses to shave off, I really wish he would. Hope you are enjoying another lovely day and how fun to make a snowman!

Trudy, no I'm not on Fb, so thank you so much for sharing it here  ! Such a lovely couple, I don't see much difference with the ''Complete'' layout except in your hairstyles, and yes his moustache. Wonderful wedding dress! I always think that wedding dresses must have sleeves, like on the british princess.

I'm not on FaceBook either, so really appreciate seeing that wonderful wedding photo. How totally lovely, but you still look much like that, so that is great.

Before I got here earlier my shoulder had started to hurt so I followed the link Felis gave to the yoga video and did the easy stretches. It did feel good. Then DH wanted to go to the natural history museum, so we quickly left. It was fairly sunny and warm enough to be pleasant outside in the wildlife area. They have a new exhibit on pterosaurs that is fabulous too. They were flying reptiles in the age of dinosaurs. (If curious, this is about the exhibit: https://www.amnh.org/exhibitions/pterosaurs-flight-in-the-age-of-dinosaurs/)

Chris, isn't it nice that Feb. has nearly slipped away? Glad you are still in a better place after the weekend away.

Nancy, that dinner sounds so strange but wonderful. Trying new things has become normal for you and so successful. Hope the hockey goes well, gosh, only 20 more games!

Trudy, wow, sorry the pool was so busy and likely to be some of the future times. Would be nice to get to hike, but the weather will do as it wants.

Felis, I think your making a snowman and playing with the dogs was just the right thing to do. When the snow's gone you'll be glad.

Hope Rae and all had a good day.
