:whoo:

In case you were wondering, I did survive Monday! By dinner time I was wrecked..... but I feel asleep easily and woke up for good at 4, so I guess that helps.

And get this-- I took Scott out driving. He had a dr's appt in town and asked if he could drive. Now *that* was an experience. He actually did really good, but I was nervous!!!
Does that get any easier??

Not much going on today-- food shopping, babysitting, wondering what I want to be when I grow up. :D
And hopefully, scrapping. Its been a long time since I have had a chuck of time to really scrap for the sake of it. I don't have any good new photos though and that bums me out. Might have to crank up the scanner.

It looks like you all were chatty yesterday in the Monday Thread, so I am going to get some more :tea: and then be back for personals.

ahhh, coffeeeee :)

Linda S- did the second round of snow stay away too? I am so sick of it. (no surprise there). Here is hoping for a "normal" week too for you!

Laurie, did you get in your workout last night? I haven't scrolled down, but I will bet that you did. I didn't see the moon, maybe I can catch a glimpse before the sun comes up now.

Nancy- so close, but yet so far--- did you hit 50*? We made it to 41* but it is still so damp and in your bones cold. Bet the fireworks was a nice end to the game.

Terry- good for you with your workouts!!! I hate to say it, but I am sure that will help you stay sane and less stressed with al of the crud you are dealing with.

Phyllis- Pain woke me up. hips, knees, shoulders, wrists. Ball of fibro pain. Bet you have BTDT! :(

enjoy Monday. expect good things to happen! :becky: (GAH! :twitch: i am SO bad at this positive thinking thing!!)

 At least you try!!! hahahha!!!!!

Oh I didn't get to see the HAPS yet, congrats Phyllis!!!

Trudy- oh wow, that was a crazy dream! I used to dream that bears would try to break into my house, but never people. LOL
I hope that you can get better sleep tonight, that fragmented stuff is the pits.
Did you hear any new news about the job situation while at work today?

Nana- truly cannot wait to see your LO's of Dad's b-day. Bet they are going to be amazing! Make sure you link us up when they are in the gallery.
My advice: get a dog. No more vacuuming!

:pound: Are you sure that was a dream, Nana???? Sounds like a typical morning with your kids!

Analyzing Phylis' dreams: She wants to go to a bordello with a young hot guy and she feels she might get caught if she does :pound:

:spit:

THAT is hysterical!!!!!

Heather!!! Great news!!!!! Send some of that to me, please :D

Laurie- no workout? That is quite all right, If you laughed as hard as I just did, I think your ribs/lungs got a workout anyway!!

Linda S!! great w/o with the kids too!!

Morning O fam!! Yes I did my workout- with all your support I am back. I did not get home till 8:30 and had to check out the forums before I headed to bed. So did it in the am and now only need to add some random acts of fitness- trying to figure out if my current routines are hurting my knee more- as I have been having snapping issues. Okay off to get ready for work- on the agenda tonight- scrapping!!!!

Good morning ladies. No snow here! Woot Woot! Got to get in to work early so that I can get out early and begin my marathon night. Will try to catch you on the back side of today!

Chris, the driving does get easier. I didn't do it immediately with either my niece or nephew...but within about a month...and was terrified although they were both good drivers. But I actually let Hannah drive to Illinois while she still had a learner's permit. I took over before Chicago. :)

Laurie...good job on the exercise! You are inspiring me!

Chris, for me it NEVER got easier, being a passenger when my kids were driving. i STILL can't stand to be in a car with them when i'm not driving. i'm SUCH a control freak. i never even let my husband drive when i'm in the car. only if we're like out in the middle of the Nevada desert. his reaction time seems to be so slow to me.

Laurie, what's snapping?? since i pretty much never exercise, i've never encountered the term.

Linda, good luck on your crazy night! glad the snow missed you. dunno what we're going to end up with today. i really dislike those days when the temps are right at the line between rain and snow. which here usually :smow: + :rain: = ICE

i've been cleaning and doing some laundry so far this morning. i was peacefully sleeping in my recliner until my husband came down to eat breakfast and make a lot of NOISE. :mmph: so, up at 5 a.m. again. happily no weird dreamjs last night. although i loved Nana's interpretation of what my dreams the night before last meant! :whoo: i'm probably going to stay home again today and wait for the ice to roll in....

Merry Tuesday. do something more interesting than what I have planned!!

Good morning! So many of you up and busy already! I today I have to drive north to take the car in for normal servicing. Luckily my son will do the work so that makes me happy to see him!

Laughing at all the dreams you all had. I think that is why you all are such great scrappers you have great imaginations even in your sleep.

It did not get to 50 but it was still warm enough to walk. As Chris said a little damp. And Chris I still get nervous when my youngest son drives. I am not nervous when my oldest drives weird.

Have a great day all!

I'm still laughing about all the dreams you ladies are having!

Did not make it to the gym this morning. Guess I'll do a little work out here and then walking in a bit.

Not much going on here. It's chilly this morning but supposed to warm up to about 70.

Been worried about my mom. Taking her tomorrow for the nuclear bone scan. Hoping that test will show something---or maybe nothing would be good!

Will be cooking dinner for my mom and dad today. Have a conference call for work tonight at 7:15. That will shoot the night. Oh well----comes with the job.

Have a great Tuesday!

Morning all... Well a dreamless sleep last night and finally one where I did not wake up every hr!! I feel so much better today! I thought that the work day was never going to end! Dragged my sorry butt all day, still no real news on the new owners yet. I think they are coming in to the store today, but who knows if I will even get to meet them as I only work until 11am. Things have been so slow at work lately, no one is buying anything so hopefully they won't see everyone standing around with not much to do. My girlfriend who works in the back office is very worried that they will be getting rid of some of us  I have decided that what will be, will be and I'm not going to let it get to me.

Chris - Hope you can find some great photos to inspire you to scrap today, but remember sometimes you don't need a photo, I love the great non photo pages that are showing up in the gallery!! Go to Helen's gallery, there is always great inspiration there for non photo pages!!

Laurie - Glad we inspired you to get back to your workout, now if someone could just do the same to get me motivated, that would be great!! LOL Hope your knees are not getting bad from your workout!!

LindaS - Sure hope you make it to all of your appointed rounds today on time without any interruptions! You will be pooped by the time you get home!! But hopefully the rest of the week is a bit more relaxing for you!

Phylis - glad that you did not have any more weird dreams last night either, I thought for sure with the full moon last night there would be some wild ones!! I loved Nana's interpretation of your dream too!! Ohhh that Nana, she's a hoot!! Still hoping that one day you will be able to sleep in your new bed again!! I hate to think of you in that recliner every night!! Have a great day!

Nancy - Nice that you get to see your son again today! I miss mine, but he is on his way home from his course today, he has been away from his family for over a month now. He must be so happy to get back to them!! Enjoy your time together!!

Terry - Hope that you get some kind of results from the scan today for your poor mother!! How nice that you are taking care of your parents so well, bet they are very grateful to you!! Sending healing thoughts to your mom!! Its so hard to see them in pain and nothing that you can really do but give them all of your love and gentle caring! Hope you have a nice walk today, I am hoping to do the same after my short day of work today.

Well hubby is in the shower, so I better get going with some breakfast for the two of us. Hmmmm, perhaps some oatmeal today? Have a great day today everyone!

Terry, hope your mom's scan turns out WELL. what a worry.

Nancy, must be nice to have a mechanic you trust!!

Trudy, good luck with the job situation. with the store being so slow, looks like some cuts might really be coming. honestly, in this country the media is always feeding propaganda about the "improving" economy. but jobs are disappearing and kids can't find a job, even NOT in their field of study. i think we're headed fo a big fall. cheery, ain't i??
