Oh dear. Poor Chris. :'( Sending up some prayers for you and all the others stuck in the deep freeze...that first, something would pop into your day to lift your spirits...second, that things would warm up, and melt, and start spring blooming....
Nancy, coffee with girl friends is ALWAYS a hoot. Hope you have a loud and lovely time together. I hear you about PSE. I really like it better in many ways, but moved to PS5 a few years ago, and would have trouble giving up the ability to make my own actions. I'm a devoted fan of the PSE Organizer, however.
Trudy, Figuring out how to record the sessions seems too daunting to me, and requires downloading some suspicious-looking software, but sure wish I could see Matt K's classes from yesterday again. He flew though a couple of things that were new to me, and I wanted to rewind and watch again. The bad thing is, after watching Matt yesterday, I am now lusting after Lightroom! Do you have it?
Thanks for your nice comment on my Painted Ladies LO. I just LOVE that photo. I am a member of Bob Weil's Mobile Photography group. One of the first things Bob ever taught us was to only post THE BEST of our photos. Well, of course, on his site, few people are following that advice. I'm so surprised at what people post. DH and I frequently say to each other, "Just because it CAN be done, doesn't mean it SHOULD be done." Likewise, just because it CAN be posted, doesn't mean it SHOULD be posted. But then again, maybe there are people who think my photos stink! Art IS in the eye of the beholder. With few exceptions, I think Picasso's art is ridiculous. =:O There! I said it out loud! Andy Warhol is only just beginning to grow on me, and that said, I wouldn't hang one of his works in my house. I've made greeting cards using his style, however.
There is a poor dog somewhere near my house that barks all day long every day, and usually into the evening too. It must be inside, as the sound is muffled, but I CAN hear it from my computer room. I feel so sorry for it, AND for the neighbors who live closer to it than I do. Then there is Bosco, the nasty little dog that lives across our side-yard fence. He barks every time we are on our patio. With winter, we've had a reprieve, but DH has been out doing spring yard work, and Bosco, sadly, survived the winter. He bit DH once! I know. It's the fault of his owners. But this is one bad dog. It's not even cute.
Okay. I'm out of stories for today. Hope this took your mind off the weather, etc., for a few minutes, Chris.
YES! Phylis!!!!! Get back here! We need your sense of humor and your wisdom.
HAGD...or at least a neutral one!
