Boooooo hooo! The long weekend is over and it is back to the grind.


i hope to have a relatively mellow day here today, but I think I have to finally take the cat the vet. My old girl, Scarlet, is not well. She is the one who is giving me the most of the pee/poop/throw-up issues. But now, she is just curled up in the corner, hiding. when i first got up, she was in the kitchen sitting in pee. :( i tried to clean her up, but she wouldn't let me and now she is smooshed up against the basement door. I was hoping that she would pass away on er own, when it was her time. But I can't stand to see her suffer. Having to make that decision- its so hard.

anyway, that's it here. i am going to post this to see if my issues yesterday with posting are better. *fingers crossed*
 
Looks good so far. I haven't had any troubles with clicking on links so far either. maybe the FF problem fixed itself. :D
 
trudy- sorry that you didn't make the CT's :( It really hurts for a day or two doesn't it? I always feel like it shouldn't be that big of a deal, but ha. You know me. :drama:
But between being on Dawn and Merkee's, you are blessed to work with them.

Clara- that is so neat that you got to talk with the missionary from lacey! So good to hear that you had a really nice weekend. You sound "recharged and reset" too.
:rofl: Gravity Day!!! if I liked Fif Newtons, we could sit around eat them, and watch our butts be dragged down even more. LOL

Meg- i saw on FB that Yosemite was great! So happy to hear that and I can't wait to see the pics.

I am booing too Chris!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Having a long weekend, getting sick during part of it....it stinks!!! I felt better yesterday and got so much accomplished!! but just like that....it's over!!! Back to kids today......

Yesterday, Sharon and I did some volunteer work for a huge kids consignment sale coming up very soon....I didn't get back here until 1 pm...and then I started cleaning.....I felt like I was on steroids or something yesterday....I got quite a bit done by 6 pm...however I did not sleep very well last night...and my arthritis is acting up today (I have a very mild case...and it rarely acts up)...so my hands and arms are very achy today...fingers are very swollen :( I have some of that Arthritis Tylenol...I will take some of that when I eat in a little while. I think all the scrubbing I did in the kitchen...hands in water A LOT...probably brought this on.

I think today the only thing on my agenda is :washing: (besides babysitting)...think I could teach Connor and Savannah how to fold clothes? :pound:

Okay...I am going to pour some coffee.....anyone?? I have a whole pot to share :mrgreen:

Be back in a while for some personals....
 
Morning Ladies... Sad morning for our family this morning as we got the dreaded phone call early that hubby's Aunt Lorna that was battling Cancer passed at around 2:30 am. She had been putting up a good fight for more than 6yrs and it finally took her. Now I have the daunting task of letting my kids know, they loved her dearly and she was a special woman with a laugh like no other. She will be missed!!
On a happier note... I had a good visit with the dental specialist, one more visit should do the trick, then I can start weaning myself off of this splint, Horray!! Did not get to see the SIL like planned, but because of this death we will all be together soon anyway, just wish it was for something a little happier!

Chris - how sad that your fur baby is so sick, it's sad to watch them suffer, so you really should get her to the vet and end her suffering! A hard thing to do I know!! Glad that your computer is acting better and hopefully you won't have any more troubles with it.

Nana Linda - Ouch, darn arthritis!! Sounds like you did plenty of work yesterday, so that's why you are hurting today, hopefully it doesn't last long! I will take you up on that cup of coffee, I could use an extra cup this morning! Perhaps you could slip a little Baileys into it?? LOL, (its a little early for that isn't it?) Just commented on your layout with Cinzia's new stuff, wow, Linda, I just love it! Keep them coming !!

Hope everyone else has a fantastic day, I am off to work in a couple of hours for a short 4hr. shift. Later:wave:

Really quick bc Jeff's awake and wants me to watch shows from On Demand with him. Yesterday was amazing, once I stopped bawling from being exhausted from no sleep. Oh and minus the fact that jeff found a patch of white hair growing towards the back of my head. We also didn't get to see the firefall because the sun was covered by clouds. But the day was amazing none the less.

evening all - the storm that came through monday caught the plow people off guard- nothing like driving home in a white out through 4" of snow unplowed- longest drive home yet this year. But tonight- totally different, and my internet is working again- off to fix dinner and then back
