I am not getting off to a good start of the day. I think I am running myself a bit too ragged. (really?? *insert shocked face* )
Nothing bad happened so far (it is only 7 am LOL), but I am tired and achy. The Full Moon hurts. A supermoon? Even more. I think the only joint that isn't hurting right now is my left elbow. hahaha!!!! What is really crazy is the feeling in my hands. My arthritis in my knuckles have them hot and swollen, but my fingertips are freezing. Have you ever felt that? It is really weird!

I was busy all day yesterday but got next to nothing accomplished. I put away a few more things from Sunday, but not everything. I didn't get any ideas written down for baskets. I started my food shopping list but I have no ideas for actual dinners. I spent an hour and a half on Shutterfly making a desk calendar for my mom and the shopping was $20!!! For a calendar and a magnet. I hate Shutterfly and I say that just about every darn year. This year seems worse than usual. I did get Brendan's gift with the help of Cait. Disney was having a good sale on Star Wars stuff and I got him a blanket for $10.
I went to make my appts for Bone Density/Mammo/MRI and I only had 2 of the three Rx's. Now I have to call the Dr to get another MRI Rx sent to me but at least I have time to do that. My Bone Density is set for Thursday and it is right around the corner so that is great news. (OMG! How pathetic is my"great news" is that I got a Dr appt around the corner this week ound: )

Today is more running. Food shopping, Walgreen's, library. More Christmas ideas? I don't even know anymore! My mom is coming up and taking the kids out for their annual Christmas shopping trip which is fun for them. And that means that I only have to worry about dinner for Gary and me.

Nancy- it was your first frost? It always seems crazy that we live relatively close mileage-wise but your weather is so much warmer than ours. We have been having frost most mornings recently.
So weird about Luther not wanting his bath, but I guess dogs are no different than people and they get in moods too.

Brendan's car is totaled. The "upside" is that his mom ran downstairs when she heard the noise and tore a muscle in her leg and won't be able to drive for a while so he will be able to use her car until she is back to work. The police didn't buy the "black car parked on the street" excuse and the woman didn't have her windshield scraped so at least there is that.

Trudy- I bet it was a great weekend with the family. Congrats to your son on the promotion but omg, how sad that they will be moving away again.
hope that you are all caught up on your housework so you can relax too.

Rae- I am hoping that Christmas Spirit will hit me once we get the tree on this weekend. I bet your tree looks beautiful.
I am so sorry that Bailey didn't come to decorate with you. Is she getting any help/treatment? I cannot imagine how hard it must be to put those feelings aside but I guess itis the only way to survive it.
Taz -- spoiled? Nah! Just like mine aren't spoiled!

Jean- I hope that you got a good nap in. I needed one but didn't take one. I should have!

Felis- I was wondering what was going on. I missed seeing you here but was hoping it was because you were busy with good things. I hope that it gets better from here.
Buddy the O'Elf will be having a 12 Days of Christmas party this year so keep your eyes open for stuff happening soon!

good morning - yesterday was fun as I got my own gift. I have been wanting this fastfoto scanner. I have so many photos from when my kids were young and I would love them digitized but the pain of doing them one at a time was too much. Well I saw this and it is what Becky Higgins (project life) uses. Well it came and I was able to put it together and get it to scan and OMgosh it was fantastic. And I created a dropbox account so that the photos will go directly there and not to my computer so that too makes me super happy! My son was very impressed. LOL. So the one photo I scanned was sent to a folder and of course where is that folder. Took me a while to figure out where it was. On my Mac when I want to use photoshop I go to photos but to find this photos they are under pictures. Really what a crack up. But at least now I know. Any way I am a happy camper. My account holds 2GB I am wondering how many photos that will be. I cooked a dinner that I did not think I would like but wow it turned out so crazy good. It was Alaskan pollack with Jasmine rice and steamed broccoli. Then I made a sauce of orange marmalade, EVOO, lime juice and chipolte sauce. Who knew those when mixed would taste so good. The boys raved. Today will be fun too as my son and I are going to a Devils Fan Club watch holiday party. We all get together and have food and watch an away Devils game. Tonight they are playing the Columbus Blue Jackets. Should be a good game to see if the Devils are for real or their good start was just a fluke. This week will be hard as they play the Blue Jackets on Friday only this time at the Rock and then the Rangers on Sat away. Have to get Luther out before the rains come later this am. And get some scanning done.

Chris sorry things are still so crazy. I agree about grocery shopping. You buy stuff but then have to figure out what to make with it. Never easy. Probably easier in the past when there were less options LOL. Glad you have your doctor appts that is important! Hope shopping goes well for Cait and Scott. That will be fun for them.

Trudy wow what a fun weekend. Busy but fun! That is great about the promotion but so sad to see them move. But as you say at least when you visit one of the kids you will be close and can visit the other. And they will be close to each other for visits of cousins. Have fun getting the house ready. When do they come?

Rae sorry that Bailey was not able to attend to tree decorating and very happy that you still had a great time with Jen. Saw your page and the tree is beautiful! Love that Taz makes you come us stairs. Luther has started coming to get me to go into the TV room with him. Love that they care!

Felis so sorry that things are messed up. And yes I take Luther to get him a bath. There is no place in my home to give a 110 lb dog a bath. LOL. The in and out dog wash lets you do it yourself but he is so big that I let them do it. And before he loved doing it and he loves the people so not sure why this one time he did not want to go. And he loves being in water. Wacky!

Jean we are going to be up to 60 today but lots of rain by the end of the day. I am sure people here are glad its rain but I would like some snow. Hope the book is going well!

Just a quick Hello as we are leaving soon to go the the computer genealogy group board meeting and lunch. Every Dec. we meet at a Chinese restaurant, so that will be fun. Then try to do some Christmas shopping after.

Chris, so hope the pains abate and the day is not so awful. And yes, getting appts. soon is good.

Nancy, that will be a fun watch party. I think I should care about the Jackets, but don't.

Good morning, ladies. It's a cold one here today. Just a few degrees above freezing but clear skies. I love this weather. Much better than the warmer damp rain storms. Looks like we have this weather for a week. I will take advantage of it and get out to see the Xmas light display at a local park one evening this wkend.

Nothing special going on today, just desk work, housework and laundry. Maybe a bit of time to scrap later at lunch time if I don't have too much work.

Chris - sorry to hear you are feeling so achy. Everything eventually gets taken care of, don't overdo it and try to take some time to relax.

Nancy - it sometimes is a PITA when Taz is persistently trying to get my attention and wants me upstairs but....it is also adorable b/c I love him so much and I love that he loves me too Sometimes I resort to bribing/distracting him with a few treats so I can stay in my office a bit longer LOL. Have fun with your son today. Sounds like a great time.

Trudy - sorry to hear your son will be moving further away but I guess the next best thing is that he'll be closer to your daughter. You must be getting excited that the family is coming soon. Time is flying now, isn't it?

Jean - have fun at your luncheon and then shopping. Sounds like a good day.

Morning ladies... I am late getting here today, late waking up and then a long FaceTime with DD and Hunter. We are making plans for their arrival and just we will need for everyone in the way of food etc for the kids. So DD decided to just get a few of the essentials and will do online food shopping before she gets here and I will just need to go and pick it up. How great is that?? Today I will hit the pool for some lap swimming and then off to do a bit more Christmas shopping, I was certain that I had ordered this one thing for my DH but I can't see anywhere that I did, so now I need to go on the hunt for that sheesh!! My memory is going, going, gone LOL! I got all my housework and :washing: done yesterday, wrapped some gifts and even finished cleaning out my craft room. Made a batch of spaghetti sauce and froze it for future use and started my challenge for the twelve days event. Now I have to finish making a layout for it. It is slowly all coming together thank goodness!

Chris - You need to take it easy for a day or so, and so do I! I am looking forward to my hike tomorrow to get out of the house and just breathe in the fresh air and forget about all this Christmas prep for a bit. I hope that you get to do the same! It will be good to have the kids go with your Mom and I bet they have a great time shopping! Nice to have just the two of you for dinner, you can have something that only the two of you like and not worry about making special things for the others. Enjoy your day and hopefully your aches and pains go away!! :hug:

Nancy - What a great gift to yourself! You will be busy now with your new toy and what a nice way to keep busy! Your day with your son sounds like it will be lots of fun too! Those lovely meals you make are all so very different and wonderfully yummy! The guys must think that you are the best cook ever! Enjoy your walk with Luther, hopefully the rain holds off for it! Have fun with all of your scanning today, it will be great to go down memory lane with all of your old photos!

Rae - I got up last night to hit the washroom at 3am and the bathroom was flooded with the light from the full moon. It was shining right above the skylight and it was so bright that I though the light must have been left on LOL. Loving the cooler crisp mornings too, and it sounds like we will have this weather for a bit longer so that will be great! Hope that you get some time for the challenges today, I wish I had more time to get them done! Christmas is sneaking up on me this year and I am not as prepared as I was hoping to be at this time. Oh well it will all get done. :faint:

Jean - I hope you enjoy your Chinese food today! We were thinking that we might do Chinese food for Christmas Eve, but we need to find out if the restaurant will be open so that we can order take out. Normally we fondue on Christmas Eve, but we are doing that on the 23rd when it will be just us and the kids. MIL and FIL do not enjoy fondue, but they do love Chinese!! Felis - I am sorry that our weekend was not very good for you! I hope that all is better today and that you will have a good rest of the month. The Christmas challenges will be starting soon and then you will have lots of time to get those done. Hope you are having a good day today!

Can I join to Chris, I am tired and feel so blue. Like usual when I'm under stress, my neck is painful again. Right now the weather is so cold, but also wet and muddy. My least favorite climat, and the world looks so ugly. I finally took off the Quince, it don't looks like have chances to become more yellow and we expect snow tomorrow, so better to not risk to froze. It's a wild tree so will see do this year will give tasty tea, previous it wasn't much useful.

Chris, so bad that you are disappointed from Shutterfly, did you use coupon?! They have too expensive delivery for me, but I managed to stalk Photobox for good deal. My family use Arnica Cream for joint pain, but it's also help for Arthritis Pain, are you tried it?! A dinner only for Gary and you, sounds romantic, hope you have a wonderful evening!

Nancy, you have so exciting life, girl! Have a much fun on the Devils Fan Club holiday party! Did this single girl that you was mentioned before is invited too?! Oh, this fastfoto scanner, sounds so great! I have one of this regular scanners, but it's really slowly to scan one by one, so I still I postpone to digitize few albums that I have. I'm not sure how much photos are 2GB dropbox folder, but I think with second email you can create another profile too. It's so funny that you have such places like a dogs daycare and the dogs bath, looks like if I lived there I could get some job that to makes me happy. Here we have only hotel for pets and hairstyle salon, where they make Grooming, but the owner of the hairstyle salon is so rude I'll never ever wouldn't to deal with her anymore. But the owner of the hotel is really nice and sweet woman, which also support the fostering program. Anyway! Probably something is upset Luther this time, but next will be good boy I'm sure!

Jean, good luck with your Christmas shopping and have fun on a genealogy group meeting! It would be nice to take some break from your hard work on the book!

Rae, it always seemed to me that in freezing weather with clear skies colors are more beautiful and saturated. Hope you could done one good walk at a local park! The good side of the short day is that you can see the Xmas light display earlier at the evening. I no doubt you have a warm scarf for a pleasant walk .

Trudy, how nice your daughter is to do online food shopping and to take the responsibility to order the food that kids will likes and eat. Hope you'll have nice weather for your hike tomorrow!
