Bleeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
:drama:

OMG. I am starting to freak out. Just a bit. (ok, that is a :lie:)
There are only a few days left. In my family, Christmas is a 2-day event with Christmas Eve being just as important as Day. This causes my contention and debate when it comes to "Countdowns."
At any rate, I am really feeling the time crunch and I don't know if I will get it all done.
Not quite sure where my day went yesterday. I got my shopping list done, and then wrapped for 2 hours. I had to do this in the bedroom since I was trying to work on stuff for my family. I was bent over the bed that entire time and that really aggravated my back/hip.
I called the County and the lines were busy, I guess lots of people got the same letters that I did. Leave a message and they will call back- which they haven't yet.
I didn't get any baking done. I need to make Gary's shortbreads but there wasn't enough time with him being out of the house. I usually have to bake them when he is in the shower and then I hide them in my closet to cool. He knows I do this but since we have so little to give each other I would rather not do it out in the open. he and the kids are going out shopping for a bit today so that is my goal. (I already have the butter coming to room temp in my closet LOL)

I am juggling way too much and I know it. My house is also a disaster and I can't stand it but I don't have the energy to deal with it. I will, just not sure when.

But what can you do? :noidea:

So today is food shopping and more baking. Please may all of the god/esses and good karma keep my hip from slowing me down. And Whisky-- please keep her from having any more accidents in the house! I don't have the time or energy to keep cleaning up all of that. We knew this would happen. Every dog we have ever had... Gary and I have very different philosophies about crate training and now that he won't put her in at night she doesn't want to go in at all, so if you aren't watching her (and who has the time??) she will have accidents.

I better end this rant of intense crankiness.
::grouphug

PS: Tindamax AKA abx from hell is kicking my butt this week. In case you couldn't tell. heh!!!!

Sorry that I have to do super quick personals today. I hope that I will be able to be a better Cheery O after the holidays. A better human too ;)

Nancy- the one thing getting me through right now is that the temps aren't so bad. Most of our snow is melted. Bet those walks with Luther are much nicer for you too.
Thank goodness that your DH was able to find the leak and fix it himself.
Hope you had a great time at the game.

Rae- lucky you! Bet the lighter schedule is exactly what you need right now.
So the stevia chocolate bakes well? We got a couple of bars from the FP but no one has eaten them yet. Yours sound really yummy!

Felis- that makes me happy to hear you are happy!

Jean- That is incredible how much you got done yesterday.
Oh no, that is not good to hear about your DH's cousin. when will she find out the results of the surgery. Hopefully, if it is cancerous that they were able to get it all. Not very good news at this time of year. :(

Sharon- I feel you on so many levels! LOL

xoxoxo!!!

good morning I am a very happy person today. The game was the best I could have hoped for. It cracked me up as I was taking a nap before the game I dreamt the arena was in the mountains (the Rock?) LOL. Then I gave my son the tickets but he disappeared and I had to go to the box office to get a new ticket but she to print and never brought it back and had to do it again. Meanwhile the game has started. I finally get in and end up in the staff area. I could hear the tribute to Henrique but not see it. Woke up then. What a crack up! The Devils did a great job at doing a tribute to Adam Henrique. And then Henrique did a great job showing the Devils what they gave up when he scored a high light goal to put his team up 3-1. Then my team made its come back, Miles Wood scored twice in the second period so we were down only 1 goal. In the third Stephan Noesen scored twice and my team pulled out the win 5-3. Jesper Bratt our 19 year old rookie scored the tying goal in the third. So all Devils went home happy! Our former GM had this saying "you play for the logo on the first of the jersey not the name on the back" so I while I will miss Henrique on my team the Devils are my team. Now on Thursday comes the next challenge as they play the NY Rangers. These games make me so nervous. Got Luther out for a good walk so that is good. It is fairly warm in the 40s and today even warmer. Of course today of all days my DH and I have appts that both require the car LOL. I can walk so I will. As mine hair dresser is just downtown. I am happy to get my hair cut and colored before the holidays. Made an awesome cajun catfish dinner. Glad my boys love fish. The cajun seasoning was good.

Chris boy I know what you mean about days just going by. Yesterday flew by. I think it is so special how you make shortbreads in secret. Hope they get done today. Two hours of wrapping is way too much. Two mins to unwrap. I like bags as they were very reusable. Hope your muscle pain goes away!

Rae glad you got some cooking baking done! Sorry the back is irritating! but on the good side it is winding down and less work. Have fun scrapping! Glad you found a yummy gluten free cookie.

Jean we are getting warm temps too and it looks like rain all day for bird count. My knee is acting up and I am thinking I am going to be a wimp. Glad you got your letter and books all done! Very impressed!

Sharon hi hope you are not in too much pain!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Sure was glad that yesterday was a slow day for work. I went to my GP, got a prescription for painkiller/anti-inflammatory cream for my back. Finished up work and hit the couch. I slept most of the night away on the couch, waking up at 11 to go to bed. I'm sure I needed it. My back pain is not absolutely excruciating but it is enough to slow me down and exhaust me. So hope today is better.

I'm heading out in a minute to go order my fresh turkey for Xmas at the organic butchershop, will grab some fresh seasoned steak for D's dinner and some fish for me, then will pop into VV for a minute (my discount day there).

The back is aching but I think is better than yesterday. Fingers crossed.

Chris - try not to stress. What can't get done, doesn't get done....life goes on. I was starting to stress about not sending my cards out yet and then decided...wth....I'm not going to bother this year. Most people aren't sending them now anyway. One less thing to worry about. If I get too busy or my back is too sore, I won't get all the baking done I wanted to....we'll survive. The most important thing for Xmas is to relax, be with loved ones and enjoy the holiday.I'm sending you relaxing, uplifting vibes now....can you feel it????

Nancy - yum...cajun catfish sounds good. I'm hoping to get some yummy spiced fish from the market this morning for dinner. We're in the 40's this wk too but the colder weather is coming now and we're expecting a bit of snow this week. Funny how our weather just keeps flip-flopping back and forth. So different from last winter.

Everyone else....hope all is well. I'd better run out for errands so I can get back to work soon. Talk later. Have a great day.

Can hardly believe all our snow is gone and it is 51 F. Slept long, perhaps recovering from the intensity of all the past days. Cousin had surgery last night and reports it "went well" but was cancerous. Don't know what treatment she'll face, but should be home by Thursday.

Chris, oh no, Tindamax and Christmas prep? Not kind and added to back, hip, etc. pain. Wish we could send you to bed for some rest! The world won't end if the house is still undone and all the baking isn't done either. Just worry about the shortbreads and the basics. Please?

Nancy, saw about the Devils win and it sounds so sweet for you. Crazy dream though. That way you had your excitement before even going to the game. Sure hope you don't have rain on Saturday. I think that is the worst possible weather for a count, even snowing is better.

Rae, hope you got to do all your errands without the back acting up. So good the workload is less. Good advice for Chris!

Sharon, Felis, Trudy, and all hoping you have a great day. Or at least not too bad?

Good morning girls!
I finally decorated the cat house. I'm curious how long the decoration will stay, this time? This year I'm put less than previous. I just couldn't find one of the boxes. I remember few Santas survived but who knows were I'm put them?!

Yesterday was realised 52 subscription for the 2018, my parents was give me money for it like a gift for my birthday, so I'm so happy to can get it immediately. But rush is bad always, so I didn't saw the coupon for discount I was received :( . Vicki is SO sweet, she is fixed my mess, but I feel so guilty that I created her worries. So you better check your mailbox first!
Last few working days, and they will be crazy, so I don't know how active in the chat I will could be. But I'll think for you all and hope we all have happy holidays!

I'll try to go back for personal notes. Sorry!
