The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Halfway through the month!! Wow!!
I don't get it. When I was a kid, December *crawled.* Now it is flying by like reindeer on steroids.

Yesterday, I got a couple of more cookies done, yay! One or two more batches and I should feel "ok." I usually make 10-12 different kinds of cookies. This year I was shooting for about 5-6. I have 5 kinds done- one batch came out really bad... don't know why. They taste great, but they were all crumbly on the bottom. I can give them to my dad- he'll love them anyway LOLOL!

I think today I am going to be able to finish up a few more F-W baskets.. whew!

Cait's concert was so nice. She just sings and plays her heart out. She doesn't get that talent from em, that is for sure LOL Gary took some pics, I'll have to see if any of them came out ok- it is so hard, it is so dark in the auditorium I always have trouble with them.

I am going to post this and be back in a few for personals!

Linda W- oh how nice for you and for Traci and the kids!!!!!! I am glad that it all worked out for her. And just in time for the holidays- just awesome!!!
LOL- I had this visual of all your furniture piled up like in Poltergeist. Hope the babies did good. Very good that they aren't crawling and cruising yet!

Sally- no one does Christmas-giddy like you do :)
Congrats on your digi-designing!! wooot!!!!! I am going to be stalking your blog daily!!!
Awww- that is so sweet- we are still on cloud 9 about the news too. I cannot wait to pay off my credit card. That comes first, my IL's aren't charging me interest, so they can wait LOL!

Andrea- oh that is sooooo wonderful- I remember when I was away in college, my mom would get totally antsy when it was time for me to come home. I have a feeling I am going to be the same way.
So glad that you are feeling better. I wish I could help you with your math- I remember liking geometry in HS but hating Algebra... and the stuff that my kids have to do now- I take one look at it and faint!

leslie- oh my fingers and toes and eyeballs are all crossed for you and your DH. I can't imagine the stress it must be to have to try to squeeze it all in before the end of the year and before your ins. changes. Oh wait!! Yes, I can imagine LOLOL!! BTDT ;)
But b/c I know that stress, I am wishing you both smooth sailing, that all of the paperwork goes through, that all of your referrals are signed and on time, that the dr. bills the right ins. co. (did I get all of that...)
And most importantly-- I hope that the testing goes well and that the answers you need are the best possible ones.
Glad you liked everything! Yes- we got our greatawesomeamazing news on Friday- got the approval. No money yet, I guess that takes even longer, but what a huge weight off my shoulders..... I know, you know it!
Do you take Melatonin? Our lyme doc has us on that, it helps to get into a deeper sleep, so your body can fight the inflammation. It doesn't make me groggy or anything, just helps the brain chemistry.

Ona- I am coming to your house- I want to go swimming! And sit outside!!!
Glad that C-mas is at your house. I can be out all night on C-mas Eve, but C-mas Day has to be here.
I loved your lists of music- I am goign to see what I can find of the Celtic Women group you mentioned.

Kat- how is Nick?? What did the drs say? Hope you are all better.

Clara, my brat-friend-- My first thought when I read "a great Monday" was "woo hoo- Sally and I are doing a great job brainwashing you." Then I see it was b/c you got to sleep in. LOL But- however it works for ya- make it a good day! yay for sleeping in!!!
I am so sorry for your church friend. My BFF lost her 1st baby at 28 weeks, and another really good freind had a stillborn baby girl. I cannot even imagine how painful that must be. I am glad to hear that her dh was able to be there. I totally understand that a C-section is surgery, but I know I would want to be knocked out cold, then let me say good bye. I cannot imagine labor... :( just too sad.

I am sorry about Derek's step grandmother. It sounds like it was time for her to pass, as hard as it is for the people she leaves behind.
hahahh! I have to control my OCD big-time with the ornaments too.... I rearrange a bit but not as bad as I want to sometimes LOL

Linda S- glad you popped in! Good for you and exercising, how long do you have the trainer for? Eating, shmeating- can't diet this time of year... too hard!

Loves and hugs to you all!

good morning girls!

today i'm headed to court with my best friend. It is the offical hearing for their adoption and everything will be forever today! The adoption agency is having a little celebration afterward so they wanted me to come too. My MIL will be here in a half hour to watch the girls..i guess i'd better get ready!

oh Steph!!!! Wonderful news!!! My brother/SIL are trying to adopt- so I can only imagine how special this is!!!!

Congrats!!!!

Popping in for a minute....to say HI!!!

My babies have had me running crazy today!!! Everytime I sign on...have to leave!! LOL!!! they sound like a "singing" duo today!!! I am still trying to put my house back together....well..the bedrooms... what a pain!!! At least it will be all clean for Christmas!!

DD just called...not sure if I told you guys...her DH was rear ended last week...he took the car for an estimate today...the frame is bent...they would not let him drive it...Seems the process is very slow to get a wrecked car taken care of!! I hope they total it so they can just look for a new one....I am not fond of the idea of driving a car after the frame has been bent....it's never the same!!

Better run...I will try to get back this evening!! I need to leave some love!!

(((HUGS)))

I'm here! Woot!

Okay let's see... I've actually been doing some real work lately, yeah yeah I know, it is what I'm supposed to do now that I'm in the real world. Anyway I still need to get my accounting stuff caught up before the end of the year, (both my parents are accountants, so yay for help!) So yesterday I mailed off a few packages, did my bank runs, organized some files, did some cleaning... and left early ;)

Today, real work, not so much...Today I was planning on doing the tax stuff, but then my cousin texted me telling me to come to Richmond to get my nails done, (she's in cosmetology school now, so they have to have a certain number of hours on things). So guess who got a manicure in the middle of a work day and for only $4.00. Now I'm being really careful as I type so she doesn't yell at me for messing it up too quick ;) ha!

And tonight my dad and I are heading to Ohio to have dinner with my aunt, (his sister), to talk about Christmas plans and things.

...

Speaking of adopting...My cousin Renee, (who I've made many pages on), was adopted when she was a newborn and now they are trying to adopt another baby. So I love to hear of people adopting that really want kids and can't necessarily have their own. She's still so completely part of my family and I can't wait till we hear the news that she'll get a little brother or sister.

And a note for Sally... I love that you are designing too!! I have you on my RSS feeds so I'll miss nothing! You rock!!!

Okay, all for now! I'll be back! :D

Hi everybody! I'm nervous as a cat with a tail in a chair room or whatever they say, because tomorrow is Genny's Developmental Pediatrician appointment! Yikes! I want my diagnosis. Let's have a little modified serenity prayer: Grant me the serenity to accept things I can't change, the COURAGE to ADVOCATE for my daughter and not be passive just because the doctor is smarter than I am, and the wisdom to know when enough is enough.

Sigh.

Sally, you are energy woman! Love the new site, and I wish you the greatest success!

Clara- (((FAMILY HUGS))) hope everybody is at peace and is doing well.

Chris- can't wait for my goodies! And once again, I am so happy for you guys. Oh and you mentioned melatonin- we've started Gen on it. It's very safe, and has been effective in treating some pediatric sleep problems. It does seem to help her fall asleep, but doesn't help when she wakes up in the middle of the night. Oh well.

I gotta get out of here. I have some math to do, and then I don't know what we're gonna do, but I have got to calm myself down before tomorrow or else the girls are going to get all antsy.

I'll let you guys know tomorrow how it goes.
