CHEERY O
good morning and happy Tuesday!
Good afternoon/evening too.

How are you all today? I am slowly chipping away on the Christmas shopping. I got 2 of my nieces, one of my nephews, the cats, the rat, and my mom all done. After work today I am going to try to get them all wrapped. That will leave tomorrow free for doing only faery-Wings. The baskets are also coming along, slowly, but I am seeing progress.

Tip for Tuesday:
If you haven't watched A Christmas Story, or it is not part of your holiday movie tradition, you really need to add that. We watched it last night and even after years and years of seeing it, it still cracks me up, every time.
PS: You'll shoot your eye out!

hugs to all!

lauire- that's how I feel about going on vacations and the house. It s like I have to do so much to get the house ready for me to not be in it LOL

Nana-- hugs and hugs, hope you and your babies are all cozy and warm (and behaving for you). If not- wrap them up in blankets like a burrito. Tell them it is a cooking game. Then leave 'em on your couch!!

oh fran, so sorry to hear about your mom, that has to be a scary decision. How far of a trip is it? Do you have road service, just in case your car has any issues? Good luck, drive safe and good thoughts to your mom.

Phyllis- I saw your update in the other thread-- good thoughts to you too.

Trudy- No scrap time for me at all yesterday, but I downloaded some of the pics I took of the kids together over the weekend, i got a killer on of Christopher reaching out to Scott's face. Ahhh! I love it!

Yvon- I am not cleaning windows, but I need to put plastic over some of them to keep the drafts out. I am totally dragging my feet on that too.

Sandra-- I am making you a cup of cyber-tea. Hope that things settle down for you.

Clara- packing -- uh oh, I know how much you love packing (not!). Glad that things worked out with the girls at church.

Trista- good morning and I hope that you feel better asap!

Sally- i just love reading your posts. really I do!
hope that your turkey was yummy!

Hugs and loves and everything good to all of you!
xoxo

Chris, I am not even worried about the house- my college son will be house sitting so cleaning best wait till I get home! As for A Christmas story- I think that is a love it or hate it movie and well- watching it in and out of fever up to 104 degrees with the flu on christmas night or was it Christmas eve- not on my need to watch list. My son was young then and loves it because I let him stay up to watch it all night!

'morning, Dear Ladies.i've decided that i am TOTALLY blowing off this day and heading for the Mall. i will try to make my head as empty as possible for as long as possible today. my brain is tired.

wishing you the sort of Tuesday you want to have!

p.s. if you like REALLY old movies, try "The Shop Around the Corner." (it's the old Jimmy Stewart movie that "You've Got Mail" is based on. so 1930s and cute. they're marketing it as a Holiday movie these days because it's Christmastime in the movie.)

Morning ladies!

Just wanted to say hello and thinking about all of you in the middle of all the busy of the season and the worries. That's all...........just keeping you all close at heart today.

Morning all...from the waiting room outside the Cath Lab. It's just sit and wait time. Dick went in about 30 min ago, and so the wait now is to see...do we go home in 6 hrs or so, or did they put a stent in and he goes home tomorrow. He was calm and so am I. The drive here worked well as I found a map of the hospital grounds which is what worried me as navigator. Simple, even in the 06:00 dark.

No scrapping with this small screen etc today but the net connection seems good. All is well.

Wishing all of you a good Tuesday!

Morning everyone... Day off today and most of it will be spent shopping for prezzies. Hopefully I will get it all done today, we will see. Also working on my last two calendars is a priority today and this evening. Wish me luck on getting it all done. Still putting up decorations one box at a time. I just don't seem to be in the mood to get the decorating finished, I need my daughter here to kick me in the butt and get moving.

Chris - can't wait to see these new photos!! We haven't watched a Christmas story yet this year, waiting for DD and her boyfriend to arrive to do that together, one of my favorites!! The Dad in the movie reminds me of my FIL :pound:

Laurie - how nice that you have a house-sitter while you are away!! It takes some of the worry away! Isn't it funny how we relate to certain things when we have been sick, I can understand why you don't like a Christmas Story if you were so sick with the flu!!

Phylis - saw your other post and so glad that you have heard something at least! Try not to worry to much anymore (easier said than done I know) Hopefully the Mall will keep your mind on other things!!

Donna - Awww thanks we are all keeping you close also! Hope you have a wonderful day!

Maureen - Thinking of you and your hubby today, keeping my fingers crossed that you get to go home today!! Keep us posted  to you and your MG!!

Well I better get out of my jammies and get moving the day goes by so quickly and I want to try to squeeze some scrap time in here today also. Wish me luck!!

Morning chicas!!! I'm kind of reeling after staying up until 3am...I was messing with my blog a little before my first post went live today!! eeek! so fun!

Anyway, I got up this morning and made some cookies called Treasure Chests! They are sooooo scrumptious!!! I think I'm going to have to post a recipe soon on one of my days!! Really yummmy...they are like little cakes with chocolate chips and marachino cherries and buttercream frosting!! ohhhhhh I'm so glad I had too much coffee last night so I didn't eat all of the dough today!!!

Praying for all of you this morning so that your day is filled with GOOD NEWS!!

love you all!!!!

Morning Sally!!! I want that recipe please!!! LOL

I almost forgot to mention that I received my first Christmas card from across the miles. A beautiful hand made Card from our lovely Jean (scrap-genie) Thanks so much Jean!!

Well Dick had two blockages - one got a stent today, and both the Dr. today and his peer, our Dr. friend, decided to let the secondary blockage go and monitor it with a later stress test. So, godwilling and no overnight complications...he'll go home tomorrow.

God bless the doctors, and all those pray-ers. Hugs!

Quick drop in to give you all lotsa hugs and tell you you're all in my thoughts.

Maureen good to hear things went well.

everyone take care, drive safely and stay warm!
