Good morning, beautiful people! How are you doing today? It rained again last night so my plants are happier and standing tall.
Speaking of tall plants, I was standing next to my milkweed plant this morning and it has to be close to 6' tall. This is the first year it has flowered and I didn't realize how much they grow. Scott brought me a seed pod a couple of years ago and it had stayed small since then. Earlier this season, I moved one of the offshoots to the back part of the garden and it died. I am leaving it since there is a chance it will come back next year. This one should be moved too, but I am terrified I will kill it.

I was busy non-stop yesterday and never got a chance to open Photoshop at all. It took longer to clean here than I expected. :housekeeping:
It always does. ;) I went back to Coloring Crew (I'm gonna use CC for it from now on) and I was really proud of myself for doing that. My friend asked if I wanted to go for a walk and I knew that if I didn't go to CC, I'd never go back. I told her she should come with me instead and she turned me down. :neener: The same woman was there-but not the gum. Whew!
We watched Renfield last night, it starred Nicholas Hoult who we love in The Great. I'm not a Nic Cage fan (he was Dracula) but the movie itself was really quirky and silly. We watched it on a whim and I'm glad that we did. I definitely snorted out loud a lot!

I was supposed to visit my cousin today but she was stuck in a Zoom Jury Duty selection all day and we decided to reschedule since she still didn't know by 1 pm if she was going to get picked. Today, I am scrapping and no one is going to stop me. *puts foot down* (The only person that could stop me is really just -- me. LOL)

Today, I am grateful that I have all of you!

@vickyday thanks re: the blue dress! It wasn't sparkly IRL, it was just lace and we thought it needed a little more "oomph."
That's exactly what birch wood was used for way back when- tooth picks :D
Good luck to DD for a very successful school year, may all of her kids be well-behaved and engaged. That's not asking too much, eh?
Hope that you got everything you needed at the store. My best suggestion for the carrots is carrot cake- that's the only way I enjoy them haha!

@BrightEyes I have been noticing the same thing-- days are getting shorter but I am in denial over it. :notinfrontofthekids:
*fingers crossed you get the rain you need*

These images keep showing up on my Pinterest feed and I think of you every darn time!

Did all three show up?

Poor kitty! But poor you having to listen to him cry. Did you sleep better last night?
Of course, I didn't take your teasing wrong! I make fun of myself all of the time and wish that shaking sense into me would make a difference. Body dysmorphia and EDs all have their own strange quicks and expression as well as the damage it does, mentally and physically. Doesn't seem to matter how severe it is on its face, it's bad all the way around. :hug2:

@bcgal00 Oh wow, a realtor... Good luck, good thoughts, and good selling vibes coming your way :sparkles1:
I hope that it all works out the way it is meant to be.
It's good to hear that you are starting to feel better. I think we have one more episode of Manifest. We finished a lot of series this past week or so. The Expanse, hmmm... now I am blanking on everything else we finished.
Anyway, have a good day with puttering!

Good morning ladies,
Yesterday was a bust as far as getting done anything I had planned. I forgot Mark wanted to go to the preacher's meeting that our pastor was preaching at. He left work at noon to come home and get ready so we could leave by 1. The meeting started at 2 and was over at 5. We were home just after 6. The last 15 minutes of the trip was in pouring rain and the wind was blowing like crazy with a tornado watch in progress. The sky was that scary green-grey color. I was very glad to have the shelter of the carport when we got home!
Today I woke up a bit under the weather. I've had a lot of drainage the last couple of days. Today my voice is gruff and my throat is scratchy. I have a headache and my nose wants to drip. I need to go and get the ingredients for the salsa as the tomatoes are very ripe on the table and some are beyond ripe and will have to be thrown away. But I'm not up to the task today. It's going to be a pj day and listening to audio books.
The threatening weather is past and the sun is shining. Hope it's the same for you.
Have a great day!

Good morning ladies. Today I talk to two realtors and decide if the house goes on the market right now for a sale by September or we wait until March. If the realtor agrees that we might be able to sell within the month then I will take a leave of absence and focus on getting the house sold and flying out to Calgary to get a house bought, moving in as soon as we return from our trip. It will be a really tight schedule but if the realtor wants to try then we will go ahead. Otherwise, we'll go the slower route and wait til early spring. Should know today or tomorrow what we are going to do. Life sure can be unpredictable. I never thought we'd move from here but now it feels right to do this. We all agree. I'll be back later or tomorrow to let you know what we are doing.

We had a little bit of rain yesterday afternoon - it dropped the temp down to 72F at 4PM!!! Got the house opened up for a couple of hours. It was cool this morning so opened it up again. Enjoying the cool breezes while it lasts. dance3

Been digging out some frozen meals that I had made earlier or that the girls made while they were here. Really enjoyed the turkey, dressing and gravy last night and the pot roast, potatoes, carrots and gravy the night before. Think I will get out the cabbage rolls for tonight's dinner and fix a salad to go with it. So nice to not have to cook while it has been so hot.

@vickyday Oh, how scary with the storm and being under a tornado watch. Sorry you are feeling bad today. Stay in and rest today.

@faerywings I was :floorlaugh: over those "Texas" images!!! Yes, it does seem to take more time to clean than we think. <<< hugs >>>

The humidity is higher today and the hands/feet are aching - so have to close this out.

Good morning all.

It has rained here hard for the last two night and boy did we need it. My plan is to go pull weeds today - I wanted to yesterday but was too tired from getting up for the cat foray. I was like a slug all day yesterday, but never got a nap. Adrienne and her two dogs came over, then Ava and her dog came over. It was the doggie jamboree! Adrienne's new pup is now bigger than Daisy and she and Ava's dog play fight constantly and then Daisy tries to scold then by barking at them - crazy, I tell ya. Lila just hides - she gets up by Adrienne or me and just watches the chaos. It's Cici's Animal House. :floorlaugh:

Steph made it to her new apartment and Asher is with her and they're both so happy. She sent me pictures of them and her new place. We're going to FaceTime today so they can show me around. She's really busy - internet/tv people coming today and furniture move-in, etc. She had never driven that far by herself before and she said she never wants to do it again. :floorlaugh:

Chris @faerywings love the western skellies - but you know, now I need one more. I've been thinking I needed another one. I could name the new one Rex. YeeHaw!!! Tex, Lex and Rex has a nice ring to it, don't you think? I'll bet you're glad you got your house cleaned. Casey comes Thursday - I've got it in my brain now. TODAY IS TUESDAY.

Vicky @vickyday I totally forgot to congratulate you on your Gallery Standout Finger-Pointing award! I'm on the blog team and I didn't even see it until yesterday. I think it was because I did the post the day after you got that (I think it was). I'm always so consumer with my own posts that I miss the others' posts. Anyhoo, congratulations - that was an awesome layout. I'm going to go leave you some love in the gallery as soon as I get off here. Hope you get to feeling better.

Rae @bcgal00 good luck with making the decision with the realtors.

Kay @BrightEyes glad you're enjoying the frozen dinners. How nice to have them on hand.

Hugs to all and HAGD.
