I am so darn happy that I made it outside for a long time yesterday since I am not planning on sticking more than my head out the door to watch the pups today. It has been raining since midnight, give or take, and it supposed to get worse as the day goes on. The entire state is under a tornado warning which feels odd. I moved all of the pots on the patio to underneath the small overhang and I had Scott bring up a couple of the small tables from the backyard and tucked them under the hedges. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we don't have any trees come down. We had a very large branch fall the day before, knocked over the chairs but no damage.

It is so dark and that is making me feel sleepy ;)

Appt with my Dr was fine and I have another appt in three months- we will have to see where we are in regard to the virus. I don't see how it is going to get much better and I honestly have no idea how schools can open.
Nancy, how is MGs kids' school doing? I strongly suggested to my brother that he should keep Christopher home if possible but I can't keep harping on it. As much as I would like to! Some of the data is suggesting that part of the reason that kids are not spreading it is that they have been mostly out of school since March. My town had one new case yesterday-- a 10 month old baby girl. That has to be terrifying.

Today is going to be puttering around the house. I am not in much of a mood to do anything more than that. I do have to finalize the shopping list. That is about it!

Hugs!! Be safe and stay dry to all of you on the east coast!

Trudy- oh how exciting to hear that your trip is tomorrow-- it will be nice to be out on the water if the temps are high. I hope you get to see lots of whales. I am so jealous and excited at the same time!!! I have never seen a whale, other than a beluga in an aquarium. Were any wineries open? Either way, sound like a wonderful time with your honey.
Appt is just on the phone, I told them months ago I don't have Facetime so I don't have to deal with brushing my hair LOL

Jean- I adore the lines in your drawing and it is so cool how you turn that into MM. I can't wait to see the end result.
I haven't called the library for Holds but I might have to at some point soon. It used to be so easy to do online and I can't figure out what changed. I even checked my account to make sure that I didn't have a fine but that was good.

Hope that everyone is have a fab day, love to all of you who stop in!

We've had rain yesterday and today here too, but will be drying out soon I think. Nothing more exciting yesterday and I have a Zoom meeting soon but hope this afternoon to get back to the drawing.

Chris, good the ankle is OK and you can do it by phone. Good luck with the weather and Nancy too.

Wishing everyone a good day!

Morning ladies... quickly say hello and then I need to get busy and get some things done around here before we head out to our Whale Watching. We ended up not going to the vineyards yesterday :mmph: instead DH thought that we should hit Costco and fill the freezer up with meat, so off we went and really it was not busy at all. We all had our masks on and got everything we needed. We had a lovely lunch at a great restaurant where we used our scene points to pay for it all. How nice to have a free meal LOL. We can't use our scene points for the movies anyway, so may as well use them for something right? Any way I have been busy this morning giving out the coupons and GC's for the last months challenges and now need to hit the shower! I hope you all have a fabulous day and I will catch up with you tomorrow with hopefully lots of photos of whales!! Enjoy the day everyone and for those of you having crappy weather, I hope it ends soon and that you stay safe and dry!!

good day - well Isaias is here! It is windy and pouring rain! Lots of rain gusts. Poor Luther not sure what to do. Only good thing is that it is moving fast. I think it is more inland but we are still getting socked. I went out early before the storm hit and they have opened the gates on our weir to help with the flooding. I know at the end of our street it will be a river. I had my son who is home working move his car so not under a tree or power lines. My lights just flickered twice. I have my phone and computer all charged. I have been absent as I have been watching hockey which is on non stop. Games have been good especially in the play in games. I have been reading and I am catching up with Longmire. LOL I only have a few hours in the morning when no hockey.

Chris so glad you are doing better. Wow I did not realize that Scott and Leah have known each other that long. That is so sweet. I know so several couples who are high school sweethearts and still so in love. My son's MG's kids are 3-5 so only the oldest is perhaps off to kindergarten. I don't know if her school system has said what they are doing. I also know that my son's wife has not heard either. My DH said his school is waiting for the governor to make his statement on schools reopening. It is still so up in the air.

Trudy that is such good news about the weather and whale watching. I know you will have a great time. Sorry your DH and his knees are suffering. I totally understand that it is a big commitment to decide to have knees replaced. I have to say though that I am so happy I did it. Sorry the Bruins are losing but they are only playing for seeding so they have time (which they probably are thinking) to get up to speed.

Jean hope you are not getting this storm. I am just glad that it is going through fast. Stupid that baseball teams cannot stay safe. But I am impressed how well my hockey teams are managing in their two bubbles. No positives.
