*deep breath* I am not stressing about the calendar today.
But GAHHHHHHHH! I am stressing about everything *but* the calendar instead.

Nah, not really.
*whispers* but close...
The biggest stress I have at this moment is about Olivia. When Cait left for the weekend, she noticed that one of Liv's eyes was red, like the eyeball itself was red instead of black. I kept a really close watch of it while she was gone and it didn't change. There were a few reasons it might have done that, none of them good, but as long as it stayed stable, it was ok. Last night after dinner, Caitlyn brings her down to show us Liv, and now the eye is red and bulging. The vet suggested that she take Liv to the Emergency Vet and she wanted our opinion. She has an appt with the regular vet tonight but wanted to know if it was worth taking her in. We all agreed that it didn't make sense, that it would only stress Liv. She is almost 3 and she isn't a candidate for surgery which is one of the only options, remove the eye to remove the problem, whether it is bleeding from the retina, or an infection, or a tumor.
Today is going to be a day of watching her and hope for the best but Caitlyn knows it is possible that she might need to have her euthanized tonight. Great timing too since her semester starts tomorrow.
I know in the grand scheme of things it is not a huge issue- first world problems and all that- but I know you understand how much pets mean to us and how it is when your family is hurting. You all have BTDT.
On a happier note, Caitlyn had a really nice weekend with Tom and she showed me pics of the animals that she was pet/house sitting. They have three cats and she loved them so much. She said Earl loved belly rubs more than anything
Today I am supposed to be cleaning in the morning and then the vet with Caitlyn after dinner. Any good thoughts to her and Livvie are appreciated!
