CHEERY O
Early day out of town for Cait and me today. off to see her Lyme dr and see if he has any input into whatever has been going on with her health all summer. Should be sun as I am going on day (night?) two of very little sleep. Hips/shoulders are all making me aggravated, too much pain.

Anyway- hugs and love and have a wonderful day!

good morning - yesterday was great as I got a lot of scrapping done. My cruise is already at 96 pages LOL. Don't know if they make books that big so I will probably have to do single pages in a binder. Which is okay with me. Got in two good walks with Luther. The weather is better so he is more willing to walk further. Also watched the US Open tennis tournament and stayed up way too late. Today I have my yearly physical so that will be interesting and hopefully dull. Then more scrapping.

Chris good luck with the doctor's appointment! I hope this doctor has some ideas for you. Otherwise enjoy the sun and the lower humidity.

Trudy glad you had the day to yourself! A good reward for all you did the day before. And yes I can't believe it is the end of August. We are going to be having great weather. I can't wait to turn off the AC and open all the windows.

Rae how funny that Taz paws your arm. The boys were playing with Luther in the evening and it was time to go on a walk so I just jingled his leash and OMgosh he tore into the kitchen and knocked over his food dish. The boys (my DH and son) were shocked at how fast he moved. He does not do that for them. It is so cute to see our dogs so excited for a walk. Have fun with Ava too!

Kat - good to see you sneaking in!

Have a great day all!

Good morning ladies!! A rather interesting day for me yesterday as you might tell from my new AVI. I am doing a guest CT spot on Anna's team and will be writing some blog posts on her site. So if any of you ladies have any ideas as far as tech gadgets that you love for your digital scrapbooking let me know and I will dig into it! This will not interfere with my duties here at the "O" and I will have three months to see if this new position will be a good fit for me or not. In the meantime I am just going to go with the flow and have fun!! It is much cooler here today and they are predicting a bit of rain over the next few days. I hope to get out on a hike tomorrow so really hope that the rain holds off for a bit. No swimming until the 11th of September as the pool is closed for its annual cleaning. My sister has a small painting project for me to do so I will have to get busy with that also. Oh ya and my oven decided to pack it in last night. Good thing I had my toaster oven, I used that instead and now will have to have someone come to look at oven :mmph: Its strange because if it was just the element on the bottom there would be some sign of damage, neither of the elements work (broiler element, bottom element) and it was working until I was done using the self clean on it. :noidea: Hope I do not have to invest in a new wall oven, although this is the original oven when we bought the house 10 years ago and it had to have been here for at least 3 years before that. Perhaps it is toast!!!

Chris - good luck with the dr. appt. Keeping my fingers crossed that he can figure out what has been going on with Cait's health!! Sorry you did not sleep well again last night, I too had a very bad nights sleep. Up at 2:30 and prowled around the house until 4:30 Ugh!!

Nancy - Good luck with your dr. appt also! Hopefully you come out with a clean bill of health! With all the walking that you and Luther do, you should be in fine shape! So sweet that Luther loves his walks with his Momma!! You must be so much more relaxed with him than the others and he enjoys your company much more! Enjoy the cooler temps, hope you get to open your windows and let the fresh air in!!

Rae - Hope you are having a good time with Ava and Taz today! Yes I am enjoying the cooler temps and really should get my butt out for a walk myself today! So cute that Taz paws at your arm to remind you he is ready to go! Enjoy your day!

Kat - We have missed you! Nice to see you pop in here for a bit! Hope all is well with you!

Ok I best get some coffee and get going with my day, or I will end up crawling back into bed and having a nap. Hmmm maybe not such a bad idea after the crappy nights sleep I had. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Hi Ladies! :) Feel like I've missed a ton of stuff over the past couple of months ... anyone care to get me the quick 'n' dirty version?! LOL Nah, perhaps not, just move forward.

After taking some time off to focus on me (for a change), I'm getting to a better place, a happier place (had some issues to deal with). Getting my scrap groove back on - and voila! Now I'm back.

Sounds like it's the day for doctors appointments today - I had one with my orthopedic specialist ... and walked away (well, limped, really) with a cortisone shot in the knee. Partial knee replacement is in my future - he just wants me to lower my BMI more and then say "Uncle," and he'll have me scheduled in less than two weeks (yes, it's that badly in need of repair). Amazing to me that partial knee replacement is an out-patient procedure!

Good morning, ladies. I've been busy this morning sorting through clothes and getting 3 bins ready for charity. It felt good to declutter and know that everything that will be in my closets and drawers will fit. It's a hassle going up and down a size or two these last 10 years. This is about the 3rd time I've done a big purge in clothes. At this stage in the game I'm pretty sure I'm going to stay a large or bulky medium size so I don't think I'm going to have to do this again. I've done a lot of shopping this summer to replenish my wardrobe so I'm not even going to miss those small/medium things. My back is still bugging me (started acting up on Sun night) but luckily is getting better, not worse, so if I keep stretching it out, I should be fine in another day or two. Bailey & Jen are coming by for a visit this afternoon. Bailey started a job last week (kitchen work at a trendy little bistro) and loves it. She's learning so much about food and gets to eat for free which helps on groceries. In the interview they asked her what experience she has with food prep and what was the most interesting meal she has made lately. They were impressed with her knife skills (thanks to my training) and loved the interesting recipe she recently made (I taught her how to make lentil sloppy joes). So she got the job and after a few orientation shifts she's working full time. I'm so proud! I'm giving her the framed art journal page today. I hope she loves it as much as I think she will.

Chris - really hope today goes well and you get some sleep tonight. Hope Cait gets some answers as to what's been going on with her health this summer.

Trudy - Congrats on your Anna spot! I really wanted to apply when she had the call but not sure if my style is what she wants and didn't want to give up my other store team (I think she only allows one) but man...it sure would be awesome! I'm so jealous! You are going to be a great fit for her team.

Nancy - blurb accepts up to 200 pages (or close to that). I just got a book done with 188 page with them. I'm excited, it's on its way. There was a sale (they have them often) and I ended up paying about 50 cents a page.

Kat - good to hear from you and good luck with the knee replacement. Everyone I know that has had it, is very happy with the recovery and the results.

Gotta go now. Will be out walking Ava soon so need to get some work done first and then back to work some more, have lunch and then the kids are coming over. Have a wonderful day, everyone.
