Whoever reminded me to take melatonin before bed, I thank you! I have a bottle, used to take it almost every night until it got shoved to the back of the cabinet. I made sure I took one last night and I slept much better. I still woke up at 4 am but all of the 10 pm to 4 am smaller wake-ups weren't as bad.
That annoying Momma Chris voice that some of you hear has been yelling at me to take it easy but the Bratty Faery voice has perfected the art of ignoring everything that might be helpful.

I got a bunch of stuff taken care of yesterday- picked out earrings -- tested them to make sure they were a pair I was allergic to. That was funny, I was wearing a crummy t-shirt and shorts, had a blue sparkly earring in one ear and a silver dangly in the other, all pulled together with a blue sparkly necklace. I wore them for most of the day because depending on the metal it can take a while for an allergic reaction to show up. My big project was making Caitlyn's rehearsal bouquet. Most of her shower gifts didn't have ribbons so I had to add a few of my own, plush a few extra flowers and beads.

Cute, right? :D

I worked on some more lesson plans since my goal is to have the first three weeks done so I am getting here. Once I have them written up, I can review them to get the timing and flow adjusted. And then you all know what's going to happen in real life? Everything gets tossed out the window and you wing it. LOL
Today is a mash-up of to-dos. A little of this and that and then some more of the same :)

One other big-ish thing I did was order the wedding gift. Cait and Tom have a cute spooky dog pillow on their registry and it was $80 (Pottery Barn of course :/). She listed it, even while thinking no one was going to buy it but we did! It's not the most "traditional" wedding gift from the parents but it's perfect for us. I'll also make them a wedding album so there's something more personal from us too.

FIL bald faced lied to SIL Linda when she picked him up to take him to the eye dr. Told her he wasn't sick, now he has probably infected her and everyone at the eye dr. plus they were at the Chemainus Theatre for lunch and a show with friends, Linda drove them to that too, so how many others did they infect!! Poor Linda is immune compromised and they both know it.
Oh, that is awful!!!! I'd be fuming! Lots of healthy thoughts coming to Linda and your MIL too. I am keeping all fingers and toes crossed that you and your Gary stay healthy.
Thank you again for the reminder of melatonin, it helped a lot.

@JeanneMN Every day is Dog Day in my house :birthaydog: :giggle4: That quote is awesome--When I was looking at old photos for Caitliyn I came across so many of my soulmate furbaby. So many good memories and feelings and love from them. ♥

@BrightEyes Yippee for some rain! I bet it is wonderful having the house open and the clean air coming in.
You are rocking the scrapping in all forms lately!

Good morning ladies. I'm home today, can do house chores, take Remi on some gentle walks around the neighborhood and get some laundry done.
I am so relieved that Remi is walking better and healing well. How long do you expect her to need to be confined? Hopefully not much longer, but it's not something you want to rush either.
I'm sad that you won't be a Cheery O but happy for you as well. And if life ever slows down, I know that you will be welcomed back if you want.
My group of friends here has been increasing and it's been so good for Darrell to be busy with social activities too.
This is so important and necessary for both of you ♥
Running by waving like a mad woman!! HI!!!!!
Is there any other way for you?
:lol23:
Hope you made it through the day and aren't in more negative spoon territory.

Kay-- awesome find for the inks at Sam's!
Plus you made another CT LO? Share some of that mojo, please!

@Terri M How is your DH doing post-surgery? I feel your pain about the balance between insulin and fasting. When Gary had his colonoscopy a year or so ago, the appt was in the afternoon and it was the same thing.
I bet it felt good to get scrapping again, looking forward to seeing the pages in the gallery!

@vickyday I think some of the acronym recall is from trying to figure out what my kids are texting me. LOL
How is Asher today? Have fun with Ilene today and enjoy the movie!

t was my fault I got sick because one SIL said God decided who would get it the other SIL told my hubs if I didn't want to get sick I should have stayed home. For your FIL to do that registers as unforgivable in my book, I lost a year & half of my life because .of that kind of unacceptable behavior.
Jeanne- so sorry that your SIL did that!!! :angry4:
Did you have Long Covid?
I was going to make a new siggy this afternoon but a squirrel ran thru with Photoshop brushes tied to it's tail & a chicken came after him squawking "play with them " so I puttered with brushes and didn't do a whole lot else LoL.
Bwuahahaha!!!!!! :floorlaugh:

Well, I call mine "a vast warehouse of useless information". :lol23: :lol23: :lol23:

We're not giving Asher a chance to be bad. He is put in his kennel at night and when we are not home. Mark reminds him that he brought this on himself each time he locks him in.

I slept in this morning... until 7 AM!!! Guess the relief of getting the printer inks and installing them helped me sleep well - from 9PM until 7AM... 10 hours of sleep. Just had to make sure that the printer would print the colors correctly today. Spent almost 2 hours printing out frames and photos... and everything printed out just fine!!! I will spend most of the morning cutting out frames and photos. Will see how far I get on finishing up both DD#2's and DS#2'a pages. Tomorrow morning (9:30AM) I will be getting my Covid shot so doubt that I will do much work on the albums for the next few days.

But first thing... I need to get the Color Play preview LOs uploaded to the gallery. They won't be available until Friday evening but the LOs will whet your appetite for them.... they are all so beautiful. Will get those done and be back later for personals.

Hoping everyone stays well!!!

Good Morning my beautiful O family!

Whoever reminded me to take melatonin before bed, I thank you!
Yes. I love melatonin. I take 40mg a night and I am out. Needless to say I didn't fall asleep until after 1 a.m. and darn alarm goes at 7. My body is trash and I am tired. Need to find some melatonin to tide me over but its hard to find 10mg pills. As you can guess, I am starting with half a deck today.
Is there any other way for you?
And ummmm. nope. Its my roll.
Mark reminds him that he brought this on himself each time he locks him in.
I do this too. Its your own fault ya gotta crate, if you hadn't gotten on the couch while we were gone you wouldn't have to be crated.
But first thing... I need to get the Color Play preview LOs uploaded to the gallery. They won't be available until Friday evening but the LOs will whet your appetite for them.... they are all so beautiful. Will get those done and be back later for personals.
OH yeah and oh no. I love seeing all the new stuff and oh you create amazing layouts but darn it then I spend more money. Family can go with less food right??? cause my dealers are displaying new layouts and new products.

My hand is going numb. The only good news is its the left which means its not a migraine but I have to figure out which muscle to stretch cause its not okay. I feel bruised from head to toe today. My next absolutely dont do anything day is September something. I'm looking forward to that. As long as I can get to feeling "normalish" before Sunday when we babysit overnight it will be okay.

Off to see the pretty LO. HAGD

@faerywings The bouquet is very cute!

I'm getting out for a stroll with Remi in a few min. We are going to crate her and go out to play Euchre this afternoon for a few hours. Then when I get back I'll take her out again for a stroll. Her bathroom habits have normalized these last few days so she should be ok in the crate, plus Jen will pop up to check on her a few times.

I ordered some copper magnet bracelets to wear on the cruise which some say helps with sea sickness but also arthritis too. They may not help at all but at least they will be a fashion accessory to wear. I ordered some bead bracelets too to wear with the copper too. I no longer type for hours or have to wear my wrist brace very much so I realized that I can start wearing bracelets again. That'll be fun. I have a necklace medallion holder to wear on the cruise that I got as a gift on the last cruise. I also ordered a wrist band to hold my medallion when in the pool or hot tub. Now I just need to find my magnetic hooks (extra storage for purses, hats, etc as the cruise ship walls are magnetized.

Met a vet walking his dog last night and we had a long chat. He reaffirmed everything I thought and was doing for Remi. About 6-8 more weeks following the restrictions I have in place now. Then slowly we can reintroduce some things, like going up the 3 steps into the garage or out the front door. If that goes well, a week or so later maybe she can gently go up the carpeted stairs to bed, slowly, leashed so no racing up the stairs. So, eventually I will get back into my bed :) but not for awhile. He agreed, no more launching the ball for her to chase at warp speed and then jumping up into the air. She'll adapt but I feel sorry that she will lose her greatest activity and exercise. But, the important thing is to do what is best for her. Thank goodness she is almost 4, not a young pup, it would be impossible to quiet her down then.

@taxed4ever That is awful to hear about your FIL. To expose so many to getting sick. I just don't even know what to say.

I'm getting out of here while Remi is lying quietly beside me, waiting as I asked her to. She is getting better at calming herself. She is such a good girl.

@AK_Tracy Hope you feel better and figure out how to help the numbness.

HAGD everyone.

Yup, I was a long hauler and it wasn't even a little fun. My brain farts I've gotten accustomed to, but long haul brain fog was awful, scary, and depressing.
Heading to Ilene's soon. I'll be back later today to catch up with you all.
Have a fun day!

Good for you! 10 hours is amazing. I'm in bed by 8:30 and seldom sleep beyond 4 or 5, but part of that is because I set an alarm for 4:15 three days a week. Not getting acerate colors is so annoying. I battled my Epson after I got my new laptop 3 yrs. ago and I finally had to replace it last fall. I was wasting so much ink & so much paper. Hubs uses it connected to his laptop because he doesn't need color & I am so happy with my new Canon.

Oh Twin, chronic pain is so exhausting, I can relate. Can you squeeze in a do nothing day before the weekend, you certainly want to be your normal granny extraordinaire!

You will be stylin' while cruisin'. You have brought a phenominal new chapter to your lives -

All of you Ms. Cleans have made me feel like the slacker I am, you know just hanging around like that saggy baggy arm wing skin. Hubs & I did a deep clean on the hood fan today. It's self cleaning although without hands it can't spray cleaner into its innards by inself. It hadn't been done in ages & hubby took off the fan cover and we got that scrubbed too. I don't have a clean oven yet, but at least have a clean hood fan.

Yesterday's weather stirred up some really ugly storms last night in the Twin Cities, it missed us completely, but hammered the State Fair. A second batch hammered it again this morning with 70 mile an hour winds and rain. It flooded last night & again this morning & the opening had to be delayed 2 hours this morning because of flooding & wind damage. Vendors who had tents had them demolished, along with their inventory, trees down, and porta potties tipped like dominoes & not the kind you play @bcgal00 .

No mojo today but did get my CP layout uploaded bills paid & load of laundry done.,

Just popping in to say hi! I miss being here and feel like I've been gone DAYS and DAYS not just hours. No time for squeezing in nothing days. But what do you do? Ya do what ya gotta, like a good mom/grandma. Numbness went away, had to do some stretches and really focus on relaxing while driving today. Did PT. Finished grocery shopping. Everything put away. Then called to work for an issue they couldn't figure out. So back in the car and 30 minutes there, ten work, another 30 home. Life is fun. And today was the slowest day yet. Tomorrow is dental and church teen camp meetings. Hubby sorted the clean clothes so now all I have to do is fold mine. He put towels away. YEAH. I love the new color play layouts that I've seen.

Good evening, all,

All of you Ms. Cleans have made me feel like the slacker I am, you know just hanging around like that saggy baggy arm wing skin. Hubs & I did a deep clean on the hood fan today. It's self cleaning although without hands it can't spray cleaner into its innards by inself. It hadn't been done in ages & hubby took off the fan cover and we got that scrubbed too. I don't have a clean oven yet, but at least have a clean hood fan.

Gurllllll, leave me out of the Ms. Cleans. I'm lucky to keep things picked up and the furniture dusted. I used to be "Physcho Housecleaner" - that's what my kids called me. Along with that, "Physcho Painter" - they never knew what color the two story entry foyer would be when they came home from school. One time, I painted it chocolate brown, then quickly tired of that and painted it powder blue. Me thinks me needs to get another house cleaner. I miss having my house cleaned - she used to do things that I don't like to do.

Anyhoo - I DID do laundry yesterday and today, cleaned all of my floors, mopped some of them until my mop broke. (Good excuse, huh?) Also changed my bed today - I got some awesome new sheets that have huge fitted corners. I was super impressed. That was a big selling point - "extra deep corner pockets" - Yes, thank you!!

Chris, @faerywings love all that you've gotten done - you go girl with the fancy earrings and love the rehearsal bouquet. Things are coming together, aren't they?

I've gotten my Wednesday Color Play blog post done and ready to auto post in the morning. Yay, me - I've been a slacker for the past few weeks and done it the day of. Makes me very anxious when I do that.

Got 5 of my 6 CP layouts posted have one more to post at midnight. I made 2 layouts for et designs with that awesome boy kit. I tend to go overboard with boy kits. There aren't too many of them. I also did two more layouts for another Prerelease today. The animals love it when I'm ensconced in my office because they can lay down on their blankets and relax. Otherwise, they think they have "to keep track of me". LOL

That's about all from me tonight. Hugs to ALL and XOXO.

Had a great time with Ilene today.
We went to breakfast instead of lunch.
I was up at 4:45 to potty. Couldn't go back to sleep. Ended up getting up with Mark. Left the house with him to do my walking. Took my shower, made the bed, got dressed to go to Ilene's and left. We ate breakfast and went back to her house until time to leave to go to the movie, The Forge. It is a Christian movie that is only playing in a few places for a short time. When we got there they told us the 2:00 showing had sold out. Then we started hearing that other cinemas showing Christian movies were telling people the AC was out or that the movies are sold out! Weird! We thought it was weird that they would be sold out on a Tuesday at 2 o'clock! The parking lot did not indicate such. Double Weird!
Anyway, Ilene's daughters met us there so she hung out with them and I left for home.
I fixed a chicken and asparagus casserole for supper and it was ready to eat by the time Mark got home from work. It was really good! Since I hadn't eaten since breakfast I was ready to eat, but Mark was not.
We did our daily devotions after I ate. And then we took the car to the shop to see how much the oil leak is going to cost to fix! So I will be home tomorrow whether I want to be or not! But, I'm ok with that! I want to catch up on my daily ATCs and try to work on my August monthly review spread.
Hope you all had a great day!
Nite!

I think I forgot my tea that night, but I still got about 6 hours of sound sleep, so my body was ready to get up! I've been going to bed earlier this summer.

I agree! I think, perhaps, they purposely give the Christian movies the smaller rooms so they can report there was not much support.....the guy told Ilene's daughter the room only had 41 seats! WHAT???!!! Even still.....no room on a Tuesday afternoon?

I think I forgot my tea that night, but I still got about 6 hours of sound sleep, so my body was ready to get up! I've been going to bed earlier this summer.

I agree! I think, perhaps, they purposely give the Christian movies the smaller rooms so they can report there was not much support.....the guy told Ilene's daughter the room only had 41 seats! WHAT???!!! Even still.....no room on a Tuesday afternoon?
That's ridiculous! They don't want people to come. Sorry you all went and couldn't see the movie. :(

Yes, 6 hours is enough for me most nights, but I go to bed very late. Glad the tea is still helping.

That is our thoughts exactly! They just don't want people to come! We are going to see if the movie is showing at a cinema about 45 minutes from here.
