Hi there and Happy Tuesday to you all!

I am so excited today- I am cleaning my friend's house while she is down the shore. I will be there today and tomorrow *and* she said that I could use her washing machine while I am there. Yay!!!! (You know your life is not at its highest point when this is what makes you happy but it is what it is!)
At least I am feeling better than yesterday. I woke up in an anxious mood and it wouldn't go away. There was nothing specific happening.(Rita had not been flagged as missing yet)
Food shopping pick up was fine, I was just distressed at my shopping cart- I spent $100 and it was not even half full. I asked the shopper, "Is that it???" We double-check the receipt and yup, it was. In the afternoon, I was outside when my BFF called, so I didn't get tons of yard work done but it was good to hear her voice. I miss her so darn much. My niece is not sure how her student teaching is going to go and my nephew is in Pittsburgh but doing all remote classes but they are both plugging along. All they can do, I guess.

Other than cleaning today I have nothing else to do. well, figure out dinner. But that is an every day ordeal ;)

Gratitudes:
-my mom and dad are in PA and are getting along! She sounds so much more like herself and says that she is feeling better every day
-BFFs mammo came back perfect and she reassured me that the Breast Center is being run very carefully so I will be fine when I make my appt
-Ray is having a bunch of good days!
-Rita was located whew!

xoxo

Jean- I am so happy that your DH is doing H&S. Thanks for info on the ginger

Trudy- you have been busy! Sounds like you and your brother had a nice visit and got to eat lots of good food too. And drink wine :)
I haven't seen too many geese yet but it is that time of year.
You know me, I won't give up smooching the rats, what is a few hives anyway? That is incredible that Heather's town hasn't had any cases but I am thrilled for her, what a relief. My brother officially decided that Christopher is doing all remote. Smart move for them. Our state is still doing well, but is averaging 300 new cases a day.
I wish I could come and work in your beautiful yard and sip wine with you on your beautiful deck. See -- more reasons to adopt me!
Did you figure out what happened with the dishwasher? Hopefully it was nothing major.

Felis-Oh no! What a crazy day, it made my head spin just reading it. Today will be calmer. *fingers crossed* I hate when I have days like that so I understand how hard it is. It is funny how our cultures and body clocks all can be so different. I am glad that you are finding time to stay cool when you are outside

nancy- awesome news that you are going to have more hockey and that the teams are playing well. More hockey means a happy Nancy!
Good luck to your DH- his start date is 2 weeks away... part of me thinks that is plenty of time and the other bigger part is thinking OMG- it will be here before we know it.

love to all of you!

Good morning ladies... another lovley sunny day, but there is a lot of fog over the Lake this morning. Guess that means it is getting cooler and fall is on the way :hurt: say it isn't so!! I don't want summer to end!! Yesterday was one of those days where I flitted all over the house, going from one project to another and never getting anything finished off. I have a card for my DIL that needs to get done and a painting project for my SIL that is half done, a page that I started and can't seem to motivated to finish it either! Sheesh!! Today will most likely be the same LOL. I did manage to get out for a walk and it was so nice to be out in the fresh air and get some exercise in! Will most likely get a face time call soon from Heather and the boys soon, then I will get busy attempting to finish what I need to do. Oh I did get my :washing: done and got the bathrooms cleaned, so no housework to do today.

Chris - It is funny that you are excited to go and clean!! Guess it will just be nice to be in a different place for a couple of days! Not quite a vacation, but a change of scenery for sure! My Mother always used to say that a change is as good as a rest. I am happy that you will be able to get your :washing: done too! Nice of your friend to let you use her machine! I hope that you are able to get yours fixed very soon!! I have to do the dreaded figuring out what to have for dinner too, gosh I hate it!! I think that your brother has most likely made the right decision for Christoper and his schooling, still so many cases happening everyday! Heather does not think that the school year will last if they all go back to classes, someone will get the virus and then what?? It will spread like wildfire! I just don't see it working either  Dishwasher is working just fine and we think that it was most likely overloaded and the second shelf bumps up against the lock and the computer in the machine, so most likely it could not figure out if the load was done or not :noidea: We will not be turning it on before bed again though. LOL

Felis - I just have to say how much I loved your page for the Fantasy Challenge!! It is amazing!! I hope that you are able to get more of your to do list done today and your day goes much smoother!

Nancy - Yup DH and I were very happy with the Bruins the other night! Looking forward to more action tonight! It was nice because now that my brother's team (oilers) are out of the playoffs, he is cheering for our Bruins, so he enjoyed the game very much also! I too wish your DH luck with school starting soon, it will be a very different school year to say the least! Enjoy all the hockey, but its too bad that it goes so late where you are! Our son is having to stay up late to see the games too!

Well I am very late posting this and have had my face time call with Heather and the boys, they are happy and having fun playing together. It will be nice for Heather to get a break when Mason goes back to school, but I think that she worries about it more than she is saying  I hope you all have a lovely Tuesday!

Just a quick HI! I'm also one for not finishing what I start, but I've just been doing a tiny bit of catching up with genealogy communication that I've been putting off. Somehow grocery shopping yesterday seemed a bit less stressful than it's been so that was nice.

Chris, good thing Rita was found, but no surprise that her charge resulted in a yelp and jump back. But why not share photos? The Cleveland Indians baseball team is considering finally changing the name and one contender for a new name is Spiders as that was the National League team name before 1900. A graphic artist a few years ago created a handsome logo for that name, but I'm afraid the many arachnophobes would not be happy AT ALL. I can easily imagine you enjoying getting out to clean - and do your laundry.

Trudy, no question, summer is loosing strength, but I figure it can still be hot at least sometimes for almost two months yet. At least I'm hoping. Still wish the days weren't getting shorter. That was a scary thing with the dishwasher and sure hope all is well with it.

Felis, yes, like Trudy I really think you nailed it with the fairy pages! And that cat came charging into our yard this morning after the birds, but left with its tail drooping having caught nothing. They are such characters.

Nancy, glad you are getting all that hockey!

Kay, any improvement in the weather and smoke?

Cheryl, are you there yet?

Have a good one everybody.

good late day again - I am watching hockey. Bruins are playing the Lightning and wow what a start to the game. A controversial goal scored by Bruins and then the Bruins challenged a goal by the Lightning and it was overturned. But now the game has settle down. Got in a good walk. We had a thunderstorm come through right around dinner which I have not cooked in a while. Just eating quick stuff like sandwiches. Finished the 3rd season of Hart. There are 22 episodes/season. WOW. I have to finish before the weekend as the postponed Tour de France starts. Hockey and bike racing - yea!

Chris I really wish I had your cleaning gene. How nice to use their washing machine. Glad you were able to pick up groceries with no problem. And yes food is costing more but I guess we should not be surprised. So glad that you found Rita. I would have screamed and jumped too when she charged.

Trudy some days are just a bit of a one project to another. I don't think any of us want summer to end. Enjoy the FaceTime. How nice is it when you brother's team is out and they can now cheer for yours. I am not that type I could not cheer for the Rangers when my Devils are out even when they are my girlfriend's favorite team.

Jean glad you are getting your genealogy stuff out. I too have the procrastination gene. But with this the way 2020 seems to be either super industrious or you can wait for tomorrow. I like the Spiders as a name.

Have a great day.

Good morning girls!
These days I start my day with smoothie. The problem with growing your own food is that nature never deliver them in once. Some blackberries are still green, other are get dry, and these that are ready for pick up are enough for 1-2 cup of smoothie and only with adding additional fruits. Yes I was try to freeze them, but after that their consistency is not good for jam. Any advises are welcome! I have to, I must do, make jam in some of the next days, because maybe you remembered that the morello goes on waste until we figure out a liquor recipe. Then peaches was full with worms. As I'm pretending to be a eco gardener, which mostly mean to not do anything, they all was invased. There is a girl on Instagram Becky who really is eco gardner and share lots of tips and tricks, I really have to start read more about fruit growing. Fortunately my dad have more success with veggies, and lots of our salads and diners comes directly from our garden. I just love this time of the year! (Mom is mostly flowers gardener, you maybe are saw her flowers in one of my LO this month.)

Chris, I'm so happy that Rita is found and on safe! I'm so scared when people start treat like this, always thinking things will go wrong  and I'm really not ready for sad stories. Is she named on Rita Ora? Hooray for the cleaning! Hope this will give you a bite of feeling for normality!
Haha, yesterday was calm day as my attention goes all in different direction, this list is still unfinished and postponed tasks for some of the next days.

Trudy, ohh, thank you for the compliment about the fairies page, but it's nothing to do with me, all is because of Lynne Anzelc's wonderful kit. But it was such a pleasure to made this page! I wasn't enjoying to scrap so much the whole summer. I hope you was able to organise your tasks better than me LOL!
Most of my friends wants online lessons for their kids, but teachers are kind of afraid that this can replace them completely. Even now they are very low paid! And the plan intend one teacher to be able to work not only with her old class, but with every kid that parents want. So you'll can chose only the best teachers for your childs, not to reconcile with the locals! Not surprising that government ban this idea, so many teachers will left unchosen lol .

Jean, I'm so glad you're liked my LO, thank you! Oh you should shush this cat away or you'll get regular visitor! Some of my neighbors enjoying my cats visits, other are angry, is not like I'm allow this to the cats! LOL. Hunter was start to go and sleep in empty rabbits cage in my neighbour. Why?! But last christmas she adopt tom cat and now he keep his territory  .
The other side neighbors was learn Liam to give him goat milk, he is from less cats not allergic to lactose (and actually if you have to give milk to kittens goat is less problematic). It took me months to find this habit (it supposed that he lie under the bushes at my yard as others do). And he is not a cuddle person, I don't know how they are become friends?!

Nancy, wow, your weather is even stranger than mine! At least you have lots to watch until storm pass.
