Another night of crummy sleep, another day of a crummy mood. Blergh.....
I started the day with a long meditation yoga session, which was very helpful. For as long as it lasted :D
I did that, got my errands done, and then sat down to reply to my Sis-In-Law's email. I kept going back to it for almost 2 hours. Discussed some of my thoughts with Gary. Came up with no good resolutions. Round and round in circles....

The rest of the day was a mix of watching the butterfly come out of its chrysalis, a little bit of yard work, and then outlining a few more lessons for the Fall HS session.

Last night's awful sleep was highlighted by my dreams of doing a final walkthrough of my friend's house. Some of the things in the house were outlandish, such as paintings by our kids that I know they didn't create. Then I must have morphed into being awake and I was remembering all of the things we did there as the kids were growing up. Making reindeer food at their kitchen table every Christmas, my kids' height marks on the wall next to her kids' marks. Birthday parties, graduations, sleepovers... all of it. Running through my mind at 3 am.

Yeah, I am tired and sad and cranky and feeling the weight of the literal and figurative seasons changing (It felt like fall yesterday morning and that always makes me sad so it's not even like the weather is cooperating LOL!)

My mini-camp got canceled and Tom doesn't need Cait's car today. That means I am off to clean for my friend. Hopefully, I will remember my headphones this time. ;)

Lots of hugs to you all!

@BrightEyes OMG, these scams are getting insane! Gary had that same one pulled on him recently, too. Yesterday, I got an email that looked so legit. When I googled info on it, nothing came up so it got sent right to spam.
I'm really glad that you are doing a lot better. Have a good visit with DD#1.

@bcgal00 healing hugs coming your way. Glad that you have been able to take it easy. Good luck finding better health insurance too.

Good Morning!
I don't think I even made it in here yesterday except to comment on a few of my challenge pages.
I was busy doing "stuff" and making the church bank deposit, went to lunch with Mark, and going through ~2,000 vacation pictures....fighting with dropbox and only able to upload about half of the photos/videos so my daughter could download what she wants.
Today I need to start on last week's laundry. I want to check out the pre-releases, too. Not sure I will get to it, but I also want to check out some more challenges this month.
Have a great day!

Morning, gals. As they say.... 2 steps forward - 1 backwards.... I am re-reading a series as I wait for the shoulder to heal. Well.... the first 4 are paperback ones... but the one I am now reading is a hardback one... a HEAVY hardback!!! Yep... the shoulder was YELLING at me when I went to bed. :shakingsense: Tossed and turned and woke up at 5 AM hurting. Managed to go back to sleep until 8 but shoulder is still yelling at me. :crying1: I should have used a throw-pillow (on my lap) as a book holder instead of holding it with my left hand/arm. And the next 3 in the series are also heavy hardbacks.... But, I love the series and want to finish re-reading it. :lightbulb: :lightbulb: :lightbulb: Just remembered I have a plastic lightweight book holder somewhere.... I could use it on a throw pillow (on my lap) to hold the pages open!!!

So... I am back to no lifting, etc... for the next several days. Looks like today will be a PJ day.

Good morning ladies. Finally feel like I'm on the mend. I'll take it easy today but should be back to normal tomorrow. I'll pop out for a few groceries and check my BP at the pharmacy. Good thing I am feeling better, I need to create a bracelet duo to drop off on Thurs for a craft market door prize. Serves me right for procrastinating.

I am going to try to go for a slow walk with Remi, its been 4 days and she really needs it. I will enjoy it too as long as my back can handle it.

@BrightEyes Hope you find the book holder. Take care of yourself. We sure are a fine pair this wk, aren't we??? You with your shoulder and me with my back. Ugh.

I'd better get off the computer and get a few things done. HAGD everyone.

It's a cloudy day and not too hot, which is nice. I have been neglecting my flower pots these last few weeks and they are mostly dead. I'm over with summer already. I had a dentist appointment this morning and did a bit of trail mowing and weed whacking this afternoon. Only 2 more hours left to read on my book so I'll get that finished today.

David has recovered from Covid and I'm letting him share the living room and dining room with me again LOL. He still has some cough, which I'm sure will hang on a week or so, so he's more comfortable in the guest bedroom for now, he worries about waking me up. But we're getting back to normal.

We went into Staunton VA to a fabulous museum-Frontier Culture Museum
I love that museum! It's just over the mountain from us, about a half hour away. The docents there are the best trained of any place I've been. And you can rent a golf cart to drive around. It's an outdoor museum with houses and barns positioned pretty far apart, so it's quite a bit of walking, although they do have a shuttle. Our granddaughters love to go there.

Thank goodness I am smart enough to know that there was something off (caller ID name was not bank nor credit card plus giving a different call back number to use).
I'm not a pleasant person to these callers. If I don't just hang up, I challenge them: what credit card is that? What bank are you calling about? and they just give back "I'm calling from your credit card company" or some such. Totally bogus at that point. It's so bad that we've almost lost the utility of having a telephone. It's only good for people already on your contacts list, otherwise everyone just assumes it's a scam. There's got to be a way to fix this.

Gosh I'm sounding grumpy. It must be time for wine!
